Same I dunno I haven't even seen a whole lot of images of her, but as soon as I saw the photo I was like Kate Upton. She just has a more unique look --not a look of women look like her even, other models.
I actually prefer brown or hazel or honey coloured Eyes in men in general but thats just a personal preference and as you said, eye colour is probably one of the less important features.
Terinka14 True although I don’t really care about a guys eye colour. Brown eyes however make a guy look kinder and more trustworthy compared to blue eyes. I heard that women with lighter eyes find men with lighter eyes more attractive whilst women with darker eyes find darker eyes attractive.

Could also be your clothing. I can recognize people by their jackets, hats, bags, or shoes. Especially if they show a lot of personality through those items (i.e. a unique jacket design or shoe design).

It’s interesting how when people wear masks, they look very attractive from the top half of their face which includes their eyes, but when they take it off they don’t appear as attractive anymore. So the bottom half of the face is also important lol
When part of or an entire face is covered, we expect it to be more attractive than reality suggests. Harmony + contrast in the right areas can really make or break.
actually someone can be equally attractive in the other half but ur just not used to seeing the face as a "whole." u already visioned them to be more attractive than normal so u will envision them as "uglier" than normal. I think lol.

I don't think dark eyes are the least attractive... we just think that by being exposed to western beauty standards. Being exposed to a lot of kdramas has made me see dark/black eyes as being sparkly and cute. Dark eyes mirror the colors surrounding them in an attractive way. Our opinions on beauty are heavily influenced by what we're exposed to and they can change in a whim depending on what's trendy at the moment. Otherwise, why else would people get mullets in their lifetime.

Nine Waves without eyes people are hard to recognize. But in the video he said eyes and jaw are import parts. That’s why some people are easier to recognize without eyes than others. Edit: I also recognized Kate but I’m not entirely sure I could recognize a more generic-faced-person.
@Alexandru Savaliuc I'm not from that culture, but to me it looks like they respect women and don't fetishize them for their beauty, don't let sex or desire control them, etc. It's not a perfect culture, but it is interesting to see the western culture obsessed with beauty, makeup, skincare products, physical appearance, plastic, and see another culture where that's not the case at all.
Upper eyelid exposure is desirable for women (Hence the eyeshadow usage). So are thinner, yet long eyebrows(threading and eyebrow pencil). Even rounder eyes with more of the whites showing (white eyeliner for waterline), but not protruding eyes. And long thick eyelashes(mascara). Makeup is used to make eyes look more desirable after all. I'm terrible at makeup so don't judge me plz

i spent my whole life absolutely hating my hooded almond eyes until i started looking at other people i thought were beautiful and realized that they all had almond eyes. in general, i think finding characteristics you share with people you think are beautiful can really help self esteem. we’re so hard on ourselves that we don’t realize that we accept the same flaws in others without a second thought
Well, those hooded eyes get worse as you age. I'm already looking into surgery to fix them because my dad has had the surgery twice and has trouble seeing. We have the same eye shape and style, so thanks dad for the gorgeot eyes in my youth and droopy eyes in my late 30s
Oh wow, I've never noticed that. I don't follow up with celebrities, but whenever I see her in movies/shows, my eyes are always drawn to her face cause it's so appealing. I still can't pinpoint why exactly (more so than other celebrities).
Beauty is the harmony of the features as a whole. Even someone with “undesirable features” can be beautiful because of the balance created by the other features. It is the sum of all the parts. Beauty is so subjective too; I find guys who look completely different from one another attractive. Personality is a huge factor as well.
Most people don’t have harmony. And harmony is caused by facial ratios undesirable features will fuck up desirable ratios. Almost every model or heartthrob on ig or Hollywood has the same ratios which is caused by their desire able traits which causes their harmony. Personality doesn’t matter it really doesn’t especially in this day and age. if your good looking negative or quirky behavior is seen as positive because of their looks. I recommend you to research the halo effect it’s the psychological study in looks and why good looking people in average have a better life in every way than less good looking people.
@pastore perplexity I'm Polish and honestly people aren't as racist as they used to be, say 10 years ago. Poles are the most xenophobic towards Indians and Arabs and if you're conventionally attractive it's always going to work to your advantage. And yeah, someone here had a point that we like exoticity. It's always like that I think. When you have a country with majority of dark-skinned people, pale will be more desirable. And Poland is a Slavic country with blond/brown hair being the most common. I don't think you're gonna get lots of compliments on the street tho, people here are quite closed-off but they're probably gonna stare and maybe smile. Idk about Russia, it seems to be a lot more racist

Attraction is important, though. I've dated people who I got along with great but I wasn't attracted to, and the lack of sex caused problems that eventually ruined the relationship. I feel like the importance of attractiveness in a relationship really depends on the amount of sex and physical intimacy the people need to be happy.

East Asian beauty standards reflect typical East Asian features, European beauty standards reflect typical European features, south Asian beauty standards reflect typical south Asian features, African beauty standards reflect typical African features. That’s just logical. A ‘beauty standard’ is simply the standard image of beauty the people of a certain area aim toward. If the majority of the people in an area have tan skin, dark eyes and dark hair, most will strive toward an ideal version of that image. The standards of beauty within that area will therefore reflect that. If someone with blonde hair and blue eyes comes to that area they should not expect the standards of beauty to change, because it would make no sense for everyone within that area to suddenly aim towards an image of someone blonde with blue eyes when that does not reflect the majority of the population’s features. However, the people of that area may still see the blonde girl as very pretty, simply not conforming to the standard image of beauty of their area. I've seen teeth alone make someone look ugly. And they used to do it on early SNL shows, Chevy Chase would play a character; all they did was change his teeth a bit and he looked much plainer. Or see someone with a beautiful face smile, and there's a great big gap between their great big teeth, or badly crooked teeth, and the effect is ruined.

Yes it's cruel because it's not fitting into a societies view of what physical beauty is. But good looking or not to anybody, it doesn't mean you are happy. There are many good looking people out there who are very unhappy in their lives so good looks isn't the be all of end all.
There was a girl I met once and got to know who everyone thought had stunning eyes because they were a light blue. I was very confused though because her eyes were small, not well shaped and had straight, short lashes. But, hey more power to her!

Thats the beauty of objective measures. You can ask people about their subjective preference and then turn that into an objective fact. Objectively more people subjectively prefer lighter colored eyes. This is a fact. Just because you're an exception to the rule doesn't mean we should throw out the rule.
For some reason I feel that "beauty" and "attractiveness" are two different things - at least in my experience. I've met a lot of people that I think are beautiful, pleasant looking, but that don't make me feel romantic or sexually attracted to them; on the other hand, I've felt attracted to people that I wouldn't label as beautiful. i.e. I think Chris Evans is a very good looking man, but I don't feel attracted to him, while I have a major crush on Colin Firth, even though I don't think he is "beautiful".
not everyone is into the typical ideal of beauty! I find men with different facial structures far more interesting and attractive. same goes for a lot of my female friends
I dont want to generalise but really good looking people can use it to their advantage to the point of taking advantage, and can be so used to getting away with whatever they like and it makes their personality unattractive. Entitled.. arrogant etc.
These videos will never predict the attractiveness of every individual face, and they can't predict individual taste, either. So I wouldn't worry too much.
It really all comes down to the facial bone structure. Not so much the eyes. It's all in the bones ... an 8th of an inch here an 4rth of an inch there ... makes all the difference. Bones are the foundation of everything looks and function-wise.
You know what, I kinda find Tom Cruise's 'unattractive' face (with the edited eyes) attractive in a quaint, goofy way. Maybe that's just my taste, as I do get bored of seeing loads of the same types of faces, so I like more unique faces ( e.g. Rami Malek with his puffy eyes). It does help that his other unedited features (full hair, jawline etc) are redeeming features which compensate for the eye area
What an interesting topic. I know I’m not very into aggressive masculine types so that kind of features don’t impact me as much as more soft and somewhat feminine ones.
I definitely stand for all dark eyes. Even if mine are the most(statistically) desirable i still think that darkness in tint give the eyes some kind of depth and willpower. Although amber eyes are also quite interesting...
Especially for men, physical attractiveness is very important. However, there are times I met guys who I didnt find to be amazingly attractive (I found them average, not ugly) and once you get to know them, they are so nice that they become amazingly attractive. So there is still hope for people who arent models but are very sweet.
Actually...most men who suceed are above avg to me. I'm a guy btw. I've noticed that most women prefer men with dark hair and nice eyebrows. Eye area is very important. I've seen guys with fat faces who suceeed based on this one area. Hair is important to women. Furthermore, the men who suceed either look quite masculine or pretty. I rarely ever see an avg or below avg guy with a woman. Avg is defined globally and not locally. Women very often rate men lower than men rste other men
YPS 21 nope. I didn’t know much about attractiveness before. By hot I didn’t mean model level. I just meant better than average. Having a good jawline, going gym, etc. And if you think I’m naive, you should know that I am black pilled. It’s all in the face. Look I realised that I'm probably a 2/10. I don't have a jawline I have a slight underbite so my upper and downer teeth can't even touch each other which makes me have a longer face, I have a nose bump, small mouth, round eyes and I have that weird thing where my eye is like curvy at the bottom and shows scelera which they said in the video isn't attractive, my teeth are f*cked up but I'll be able to fix them with braces thank god and I have face fat which makes my face look wider. @@bluesoul1260 I'm not pretty either. I'm in my mid-20's. I have a very masculine face and I'm overweight. Being ugly definitely has its drawbacks (difficult to have relationships, partly because when you do manage to find someone interested you're always worried they're just settling for you and can't get anybody prettier) but it also has its upsides. It's easier to make friends with other women because you aren't competition to them, and you learn to value other things about yourself rather than beauty. The way I think about it, everyone ends up old and ugly eventually, and we don't have to dread it like other people do :P
this only goes for western, European standards. deep-set eyes would be so unattractive on an East-Asian face due to their flat nose bridges. i feel like there's a whole other set of rules there; after all, Koreans throw out the golden ratio and instead go for the smallest ratio humanly possible. Edit: I'm fully open for a discussion! I had east Asia, more specifically Korea in mind for this comment because I'm most educated about it. That's why I only went over things I found notable. You’re only talking about their beauty standards. They like big eyes, fair skin, etc. So it doesn’t mean deep eyes don’t suit them, it just mean they don’t fit their beauty standards 🤷🏻♀️.

"Bug eyes" are what my mom calls bedroom eyes and I honestly think they are beautiful plus more eyelid space makes it easier to do cool makeup looks. My hooded/almond eyes makes it pretty damn hard to do certain makeup looks easily

This is focused entirely on western standard. Asians, especially E asians and SE asians have an entirely different structure biologically that these standards cant be used. It would be really interesting to see your take on it. We need to stop thinking that western beauty standards are the only beauty. To this we need to talk about all kinds of facial structures. Well it is an English video with a predominantly north American audience so I think that's partly why that was the standard being focused on also because of media that is the beauty standard more or less seen throughout the world whether it's a good thing or a bad thing or whether you agree that it's attractive or disagree, it just is what it is basically
Am I the only one that’s not into blue eyes? I prefer amber eyes, honey brown, dark brown and black. If I had to choose between blue and green I’d go for green. But of course looks aren’t everything and if the person had an amazing personality and blue eyes I’d still date them.
Ultimately it’s the personality, but first people tend to respond positively to a physically attractive person first. But there has to be more there or it won’t keep someone engaged.

Dude. This video is purely scientific. It makes no statements whatsoever about relationship advice. I think the contents of this video is important for everyone to know. (Not so that these people can use tricks to make themselves look better) Its to make them realize WHY we find certain people good looking. Thus everyone can be more logical and unprejudiced, when they look for a partner.
I'm only saying this because I know a lot of people overanalyze their features, and I guess that's just how it is, just don't forget to be grateful and don't take anything for granted, if you can read this, your eyes are already perfect
