If you absolutely have to have dials, a flip up screen, and a smaller camera the XT5 is for you. For 300.00 more with the XH2 you get a better evf screen, 3.5mm mic jack. Full size HDMI, internal apple pro res recording, a better EVF, better video performance, CF express slot, yes CFEXPRESS cards cost more but in the future they will be cheaper. CFEXPRESS allows for faster burst shots, and buffering having a CFEXPRESS slot. You get a larger camera grip by default, an 8k video. Pricing for all three cameras are fair, but not having a 3.5mm mic, full HDMI and at least the CFEXPRESS slot as an option for the same price I think that the XT5 should be 1599.00.
Higher resolution is not better, it’s just higher resolution IF you satisfy a whole list of conditions in order to be able to MEANINGFULLY access that resolution. This is probably one of the most demanding and frustrating sensors in existence - this is coming from a m6 mark ii owner who is often frustrated but the pitfalls of its similarly high-res sensor. But, don’t get me wrong - with excellent glass and excellent light or a studio setting, this will surely produce phenomenal pictures and prints
I bought the xh2 instead of the Xt5 because of its superior body, hand grip, the pixelshift and the the video features. However, the main reason for buying fuji is because I have not done any photography for over 4 years and fuji cameras are the only brand that I spire me to do more.
So everyone have the same size of hands? It is too big for some of us. Just like mirrorsless Nikons and recent R10 from canon. If I was going with Fuji, I would pick Xt5.
Biggest? More like highest res sensor And its visible in the annoying noise in 120fps movies, below 60fps its usable but high frame rate sucks so hard (240p is UGLY AS HELL!) The XT4 is in many ways better than the XH2s
