Why the Goblin is Awesome in Lancer Rpg 

The concept that this mech can merge into another friendly willing mech to boost their defences and tag along using their movement is so freaking cool. Ive never really seen that in a tactical TTRPG. Very unique.

The Goblin is a Horus mech, reality gets iffy when dealing with them. If they can convince you something is real, it can become real. All in all, the Goblin sounds like it would be a blast to have hanging on something like a Blackbeard.

See If you find a good buddy mech that is super bulky and doesn't try to generate heat And you take Black Ice, the Buddy Talent, and some other talents to play around it (like the one that lets you lock onto targets at the starts of your turns) You can make a combination that is notoriously difficult to deal with and also hacks the crap out of people (I personally like getting Scorpion70 from Gorgon and the Pegasus NHP that lets me replace rolls just to meme on people, if people try to tech attack your duo they will suffer.)

As far as I can tell you do not substitute your grit if it is higher for tech attacks.

The goblin license was my very first choice, but I just took the system choices and kept my Everest frame.

Also the Redirect will force the enemy to target, like Youe enemy is targeting aj ally but the false idol can see the enemy targeting someone else , make the system save, if they fail tye false idol is targeted instead. It forces the enemy who failed tye save to target it instead

Might be able to synergize celestial shackles when you pop your core power. You both take your turn at the same time, so you use shackles, you both move and do some attacks/techs, then use the free action to pull yourself back into cover.

I love goblin. Not a fan of symbiosis. Still not found a suitable time to use it. Looking to expand my current goblin out into efreet and iskander.
