I just wanted to leave this comment to encourage someone. I've been using Henna sooq products since January and as of June, my hair grew 5 inches. Granted, I was doing other things like scalp oil massages, eating better and vitamins, but the ayurvedic treatments played a huge part also. I used Henna, Amla, and the Cocoveda mask. 👍. I switched to henna since I always dyed my hair red anyway. It is great because it is PERMANENT. Chemical red dyes fade SUPER fast because the molecules are so big. But henna fades minimally, and looks very natural when it does. However, it straightened my hair from bouncy 3A curls to heavy 2B waves. I tried different methods and used amla but nothing helped. I think it's because my hair is very fine but VERY dense and the henna weighed it down. If you are looking to loosen your curls but keep them super healthy, henna is the way to go. But I personally couldn't stick with it for more than a couple years. I wanted my curls back.
Just to show how permanent henna is, I tried oiling it with a combo of coconut, olive, and argan, let it set for 12 hours, then washed repeatedly with dandruff shampoo and vitamin c. Did this off and on for a month. Bleached. Regrowth came out light bright lemon yellow, lengths with henna were maybe 1-2 shades lighter. Did the oiling again. Bleached the bright orange lengths a couple weeks later. Still bright but another shade or so lighter. The ends in the front where I had applied 1 round of indigo a few years ago pulled almost green, probably because those sections were really porous at the time. Left it alone for a month--that's right, no toner, just yellow and orange hair with dark roots--then bleached AGAIN. It's significantly lighter now. But there is STILL a ton of orange in the lengths where the henna was. My hair is now very damaged from the bleach but I'm going to take care of it with deep conditioner and k18 and occasional Olaplex and a round of Aphogee when I feel it can take it. It's light enough now that I think I can go in and color it with deposit-only Pravana Vivids--my goal is sunset hair--but I don't think my ends will go as bright yellow as I want, that's how much henna (and a bit of indigo even after 1 application several years ago) that's left. HENNA IS PERMANENT. If you are a lifelong bottle redhead, henna will save you SO much money on expensive dye sessions because you won't have to touch it up every couple of weeks to retain the vibrancy. But when people say it is a commitment they are NOT kidding around. The ONLY way to truly get henna out is to cut it out. Unless your hair is EXTREMELY healthy and very thick/coarse and not fragile from curls or styling and you only henna-ed once or twice, in which case bleaching the hell out of it would work. I started henna to keep my hair in near-virgin condition, and it worked, but changing it meant destroying my hair, or at least damaging it quite a bit (we'll see how it is after a few K18 rounds). Just a word of caution.
I have very fine fragile hair. Henna was the very first herb that I tried but I started with henna gloss before going full blown henna mask. I add aloe vera powder to my henna for moisture.
Never new henna was loosening my curl's till I watched one of your video's, my hair was already damaged still working on how to bring back my curl hair.
I use henna only for colouring purposes (grey covering), but it does dry my hair as it’s too strong like you said. I have curly, dry weak, very fine hair. If I use the other treatments and henna mixes with other herbs, I won’t get proper colouring.
I use ayumi henna it's mixed with other herbs. Is it safe to use it every two weeks on wash day? It did give my hair a nice tint. I have never dyed my hair never. But I'm gonna be 44 next month and grays! I like what that ayumi blend did to my grays!
I only have one question...I really want to use henna on my natural hair but I don’t want to change my natural black hair colour, this is the only thing that is stopping me from doing it!! Do you have any tips to keep my natural hair colour while doing an henna hair treatment? Thank you❣️

Hi Khadija, for 50 years now I am dying my hair with henna. I used to have a dark chestnut colour but now with al the greys it is very hard to get a good colour. I use red raj henna , mixed it with hibiscus tea instead of distilled water, added hibiscus powder, aloe Vera powder and marshmallow root powder to the mix. My hair color is a beautiful soft deep red, I love it. Try this recipe.
I used Henna/Indigo for many years up until I established my Sisterlocks. I have been waiting for my hair to lock up. I want to start using it again but I am very concerned about how Henna/Indigo relaxes the curl in my hair. I have a fine thin loose curl and can't afford to have my hair relaxed even a little. I've added Amla in the past but didn't see a difference. What can you recommend? Love your products! Would love a consultation.
Once your feel your locs are well established then you can try again. The only way to know for sure is to try and see. I don't know how your hair will behave otherwise. I hope this helps some.
How often can henna be used? Is once a week too much? I’ve used it on and off. But have been thinking of using it once a week, every wash day. I mix henna with Amla, brahmi, hibiscus etc.
I definitely would not recommend using henna once a week, it can be very strong and using it that often can cause damage. Instead, you can use one of our henna gloss bars or Moroccan hair tea to get the benefits of henna, without the risk of damage. Otherwise, I recommend a henna treatment every 4-6 weeks.

I have low porosity 3c/4a curly hair what other moisturizing herbs are there besides fenugreek and aloe Vera that I can add to henna. And what herb can I use with shikaiki and cassia obovata to cleanse with to add moisture or do I need anything with it?
Aside from herbs, you can also add humectants like honey, glycerin, molasses and agave nectar as part of your liquids in addition to warm water or tea. Molasses is my favorite.

You can use cassia if you don’t want red color of henna. Cassia leaves a yellow hue that might show up on very light colored hair though- does nothing color wise on darker hair. Effects don’t last as long as henna
@@eyekandy3000 okay I gotcha… so just to make sure I’m right they don’t have a henna really that’s made for blonde hair or even something that will slighting tone blonde hair ?
@@slimyyyylives9723 henna will definitely leave a red tint to blonde hair as far as I know. What they describe as neutral henna is usually cassia obovata or senna. I’ve used both- feels like a henna treatment but after a month the strengthening, conditioning, for me heaviness to my hair is gone.
