Wow Aubrey looking GOOOOOD there!!! Looking more and more like a runner!! Andy the FOD Runner was my very first EVER youtuber I ever subscribed to and binged, and yes it was exactly because he gave not only very thorough but also very long term reviews on his shoes ... to me the long-term longevity of the midsole energy return is a major concern when choosing a shoe, especially at these insane prices !!
I absolutely agree with you about Andy. I love his channel, there is a simplicity about it that many channels are missing. He is thorough and detailed in his reviews.
I dun understand why shoes are made to last only 100km before it degrades so much u need to get new ones… I run about 100+km in a month, am I suppose to change shoes every month…?
I loved NB 1080v10 and had 2 pairs I wore to death (black version even transitioned to being my work footwear - I work at Tesco 😂). Currently just purchased 2 pairs of the v12 but only wearing the one pair. Enjoy them as much as the v10 and my go to for an easy run. Even better I haven't paid full price for any of them 😀
I need you to get involved in the reviews. If you ever get the chance, please message me on Instagram and I’ll get you to contribute to The Tesco Tesco Section of the review. This is such a cool idea.
I love the v10! They were perfect and heard my plantar fasciitis. Didn’t care for the firmer v11 and don’t like the heel change on v12. I hope these work for me but I loved how the v10 felt like socks
I recently acquired this shoe at a discount and I found it refreshingly good for my purposes. Slow, easy pace and recovery jogging. I'm 1.86m, 115kg and I immediately replaced the Nike Infinity Run 4 in my rotation with the 1080. The Infinity Run 4 will now become my stunt 101 shoe when I rock up at the grocery store. Now I think my rotation is more balanced Nike Pegasus 40, Nike Vomero 17 and the New Balance 1080 V13.
Firstly, a massive thank you for getting in touch, I watch your channel and enjoyed some of the videos you’ve shared. You’re a gem in the running community. Keep going. That’s all!
Found v12 for $37 new. Good shoe? I have the Triumph 20, and More v3. Glideride is kinda firm. 1080v12 firm too? v10 was hard, and I sold it after one run.
man i bought the shoes, the big problem no one talking about that the shoes is low in the back and high in the front so when you run you see that its working against you and making you do more effort to advance its holding you back ,2nd big problem stability, when you run on surface not flat you gonna see your feet going on the edge and its painful
love the new balance brand my favorite shoe of all time is more v4 love the fresh foam x your looking great weight down..can see it..congrats buddy..love fordy runs one of my favs..love concept keep up great work 👍 😊
I also love Fordy runs. He is amazing for the community in the Uk and so many people have been impacted by that man’s actions. Have your flowers Chris Ford. The guy I meant in my video is Fod Runner, he is also good
@AubreyRunning AGREED ALSO..I ALSO REALLY ❤️ MARK LEWIS , EDD BUD..FOD AND You of course.. my go to inspiration is 3 to 7 project here in u.s.a if ya havent seen doc." 1 Mile Out" I highly recommend its good stuff God bless ya brotha and can't wait for next one looking good 👌
You may be developing a shoe problem there my man, or maybe you already have one and are getting worse 😂😂😂 On a serious note though, completely different shoes. These feel like the cushioning is more felt whereas the Boston pack a more springier return of energy
@@AubreyRunning Oh man I've definitely got a shoe problem, I'm currently waiting on a pair of new Adidas adizero adios pro 3's to arrive tomorrow 😳😂 I love buying new shoes, the wife and bank balance aren't very impressed though 😖
It looks OK but it sounds like it's too soft for my taste. I'd probably go with the Novablast, which has a little more get up and go; with the price difference, even more so. At US$165, I could get the Boston 12 or Deviate Nitro 2.
Releasing that this Friday sir… I’m a excited about it too. I watch a certain review which was unfair to the shoe and what it is! Won’t say any names but completely misleading
Thanks Aubrey for another great review and your open response to your subscriber’s feedback. I tried the V12 but it was too narrow in the mid foot for me so went to the triumph 20 which is perfect for me so much so that just bought a second black pair for winter for an amazing £70!! so I won’t be laying out £160 for this one but hey still enjoyed watching your review on my tea break as always. Keep up the good work 👍👏
Thank you so much finding time on your break to watch this… please send me the link you used for the Triumph… I don’t Think I’ve given Saucony the time of day and definitely should
@@AubreyRunning Aubrey thanks for your reply. I bought the triumphs on eBay. Brand new, original box and authenticated. £70. I’ve bought and sold many times on eBay and had some bargains and I if sell a pair they are always in immaculate condition so the buyer gets a bargain too. I’m not sure how RU-vid reviewers like yourself feel about buying running shoes on eBay so would be interested to know if you have time ? Thanks Aubrey
Great review Aubrey! I have neuropathy in my feet from diabetes and was looking for a soft walking shoe. I think this is going to be it. Keep up the great work!
Hi Aubrey. Can you recommend a low to medium stack heels for daily long runs on treadmill? I have been running the Cloudsurfer you recommended, but I’m just looking for alternatives. I got the NB Superfuel Comp but I don’t really like it due to the high stacks cushions.
Everyone will be very different because for me personally for 1 to 3 hour runs, I could t do that in low or medium stack shoes. I would definitely need something like the invincible or Nimbus. But since you’re asking for something different, I’d highly recommend the Hoka Rocket X2. A little pricey but that’s currently my favourite shoe
@@AubreyRunning Thank you. I will check out the Hoka Rocket shoes. I’m not used to high stacked cushion shoes. I like my feet to be as flat or feel on the ground. I hate anything high stacked or bulky cushioned. Thanks again Aubrey.
This is simply my favourite shoe. I wish there was more quantity available here in Australia - especially since I have wide feet - this is my favourite shoe ever. It just feels right. Just edited as you got to the more v4. I had those - quite nice soft - but the 1080 is an upgrade everywhere. Everywhere. Softness? If I’m giving the 1080 a 10 (which I am) the more v4 is a 5/10. It’s no contest.
Hehehehehe I love this! The More V4 is amazing and I feel like it’s what led to the 1080 v13. It will be interesting to see what the More V5 will be like
@@AubreyRunning we will see - I am praying they use the same sole on the v5 as the 1080. A 1080v13 with like an extra centimetre of stack?? Yeah that’s what I’m talking about 😂
@@filoIII nah never tried those. I’ve mainly tried New Balance since they have wide sizes that I can sometimes get here in Oz but I’m new to running shoes. I’ve basically tried the rebel v3, more v4, 1080v12, 1080v13, Supercomp elite v4. I thinking of ordering the Supercomp trainer v2. A site near me just got wide sizes in them.
Looking forward to picking these up for a bit of a mixed bag type of shoe. If course ill run in them but im mainly getting them for a his/hers disneyland shoe for my girlfriend and myself.
@@AubreyRunning i am curious now Brother i run in Airforce that are fucked Up i once ran 90miles at once in them Just to prove myself and now that i know we are the same weight i want you to ask If there is a Shoe you recommend as Everyday Trainer Like the 1080v13 but at the same time for best Times . I Just wanna spent Money for 1 Pair not 2 you know what i mean?
Ordered on your recommendation from comment on another video, just got yesterday, first run in the bag. All i can say is amazing shoe so comfortable thank you for recommend!
