One thing about the Soul Drinkers has always annoyed me. And also think it's totally unbelievable. In front of the entire chapter, our protagonist has a duel with his chapter master. And during the duel he suddenly mutates and gets spider legs. I found the reaction of the Chapter that followed to be totally implausible. No matter what our protagonist's motives are, what kind of loyal Space Marine would follow someone like that? A psicher who suddenly grows spider legs? Come on...
dumbest chapter ever - destroys their whole fleet for "reasons" and the leader mutates like wtf and he wasn't executed on the spot? gtfoh - I was so annoyed when I read the omnibus back in the day - plenty of cool renegades chapters (still loyal to the emperor) that aren't a bunch of re t ards
@@Thabooka yeah I had to read the omnibuses again to get info and I couldn't really remember much from the books and it was a pain to get through a second time
