I do really like Tigger and Roo’s dynamic throughout the franchise where Tigger’s like the cool older brother/uncle to Roo. I feel like it’s at its best in this movie.
Yes, I really loved the dynamic of Roo and Tigger it took more center in this movie, and how Roo sees Tigger as an older brother, I love especially when Tigger gave his necklace and also when Roo saves him
Considering Kangas a pretty overly protective mother, I always saw Tigger as the cool uncle who lets Roo have all the ice cream he wants, and Kanga allows it cause it cheers Roo up, and he’ll be back on his normal diet in the morning.
It expands on the friendship between the two of them from Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too short/segment from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, where Tigger takes out Roo to bounce and have some fun, including trying out ice skating (though it turns out it was harder than it seemed, causing him to accidently crash into Rabbit and send him into his house in a yet another mess that Tigger inadvertily but annoys Rabbit greatly, causes, which is why Rabbit gets annoyed with Tigger, as he tries to mind his own business, like harvest his vegetables or ice skate, only for Tigger to ruin everything for him, and the reason he wanted him to stop bounce so Tigger won't bounce on him again and cause more trouble for him, which is why he was the only who was actually glad that Tigger stopped bounced as he promised he would if he ever got down, though he does admit, although under group pressure by Pooh and the others, that Tigger was better when he was happy, and to discover that doing the bouncing himself is actually quite fun, which is appropiately consindering rabbits DO jump).
The fact that Eeyore of all people said to "keep smiling" just hits me right in my feels. He may be a bit of a downer donkey, but he genuinely loves his friends and wants them to be happy. He's my favorite character in Winnie the Pooh, I love him so much.
And the gang doesn't outright try and force Eeyore to be happy or calling him out for it. Just by including him in their shenanigans, they are doing the right thing to make him feel wanted.
One example for Eeyore's desire to make someone happy is, when Owl's home was destroyed by the wind in The many adventures of Winnie the pooh, and he went to look another home for him, and no one even asked him to do that, but he search it for long. (Until he stole it from Piglet,to Owl, but you got my point) But he did all that by him self to make Owl happy.
That’s bc they didn’t, they outsourced the labor to a third party animation studio because they deemed a Winnie the Pooh movie as not important enough to be animated by Disney. It could have looked twice as good!

This moment in particular in the climax is one of the best demonstrations of an effective emotional and triumphant climax for a film I can think of. This movie marked Jim Cummings’s full time debut as Tigger (although Paul Winchel was meant to return he was too old to voice tigger) which although I enjoyed Paul Winchel’s Tigger Jim Cummings is definitely the best Tigger voice.
Yeah like he started to record his lines but he just was physically unable to pull off Tigger’s more energetic and emotional lines so Jim had to do it instead.

Fun fact. The TTFE line from Tigger in this movie was in reference to Paul Winchell's final role as Tigger, where after recording his lines for the safety spiels of the Winnie The Pooh ride at Disney World in 1999, he put on the voice one last time and said "TTFE, ta-ta forever!"
You know, that feeling when we're in an era where people are more critical towards the concept of family, but then there's movies like these that remind you that not every family is perfect, and even if you are also not perfect, there's still people around you who will love you for you, even if it looks like they may not be on the same page as you. And even if you feel like you're an outcast there will still be people who will assure you that you belong somewhere. I forgot how comforting and wholesome the Winnie the Pooh franchise was. I kinda miss this sincerity that those movies had. It seems like something that I will need to watch for self-discovery. Now it makes me wanna binge watch this series. (I remember my fave movie in the Winnie the Pooh franchise being the one with Lumpy and Roo though 😭)
Jim Cummings is crazy talented. He is excellent at different voices and singing. Seriously, just look him up, and you will probably be surprised just how many characters he plays.

Two things to make this better: 1. Christopher Robin doesn’t really “spoon feed” the message to Tigger and the others (compared to the “Grand Search for Christopher Robin”), though he does join Owl and Kanga in the search for everyone else. 2. “Your Heart Will Lead You Home” is too amazing for words that you can’t believe came from the “Winnie the Pooh” franchise.
This is one of the movies that made me cry...in a really heartbreaking way. Not even the Lion King or Land before time, nop this movie right here. I just love how sweet, innocent, emotional Winnie Pooh characters can get.
People definitely underrate the Winnie the Pooh franchise, I mean one of the first ones can literally be considered babies first horror, existential dread and all and the characters going for the darkest times to break out of it. Also Tigger and roo doing the mega bounce at the end definitely feels like an epic anime moment.🎉

Love this movie. And I especially love seeing positive takes on movies. Everything on YT these days seems to be savage criticism, ignoring all the wonderful parts of media. I like the message that you don’t have to find people who are Exactly Like You to belong. There’s this idea that your perfect friends/family are people who will never disagree with you but that’s not true. And it makes sense Owl has a family and the others don’t, because while they’re stuffed animals, Owl is an actual owl.
I mean, Rabbit is also a real animal… usually; “Many Adventures” had both an episode where he ended up in a toy shop (“How Much is that Rabbit in the Window”), but it also featured one where he’s obsessively preparing a party for *dozens* of bunnies… Like, they’re not explicitly stated to be his family to my recollection, but it’s in the subtext. And yes, it was by the looks of it a birthday; maybe his, but it’s funnier to me if it was all of theirs because subtle humour about lupine reproduction habits tickles me. :-D That aside, Rabbit is also deliberately not involved in the A-plot for characterization purposes, which is of course why he ultimately comes with them at the end. He really does care; he’s the most anguished-sounding when Tigger was swept away by the avalanche. ;-)
Speaking of which, did anyone else besides me believe, as children, that “Grand Adventure” and this were direct sequels to “Many Adventures”? It tracks; the show feels set in Summer, “PGA” was the start of Autumn, and this is when Winter starts (and Christopher Robin returns at the end).
Personally I actually think Rabbit is the only real animal, because in the books Owl looks KINDA like one of those fake owl figures used to scare away animals. In the Disney stuff he’s more expressive with his wings, but in the book he’s mostly got them tucked away and uses his talons for everything. I mean, he’s not a plush toy in the traditional sense, but he still technically is.
The Tigger movie was a contrast to Tigger's iconic song "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers". At the end of the song, Tigger says "the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is that he's the only one". Tigger was usually happy to be the only Tigger, but the Tigger movie tried to contradict that fact by pushing maybe he ISN'T the only one and that there are actually more Tiggers
0:35 I personally think that the BEST Winnie the Pooh movie is Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin. It was very different from the usual mood in Winnie the Pooh shorts, shows, specials & future movies because it had a darker tone.
yeah, for me Winnie the Pooh's Great Adventure was a masterpiece when I saw it, it was not the same as always, the characters were going beyond the 100 Acre Wood to the darkest and most remote places to find Christopher Robin and without him they felt lost.. Even as a child I felt that more mature tone and now I apreciate so much this movie in my life.. The director really was a genius and the song "Wherever you are" never stops touching my heart.
As a kid I loved the intire Winnie The Pooh franchise, i watched almost all WTP movies but there was always something aboud the Tigger Movie that made me watch it again and again, to bad that the last WTP movie was in 2017 and there is absolutely nothing more after that.
You mean 2011; “Christopher Robin” literally rewrote history so that not only was Robin his surname, they cowered at the thought of depicting his RL daughter as disabled… I get why they didn’t go into the details of why, but it’s still despicable. So I don’t care for it as a WTP movie; it’s good if you separate it from that (if you can anyway).

The scene where Tigger finally finds his family tree and finds no one there never fails to make me cry no matter how old I get or how many times I watch this scene. Even just watching the video clips with Rockotar's narration make me tear up. I am in email correspondence with the director Jun Falkenstein, and I will definitely send this to her.
That part, and Tigger opening the locket to see that it’s empty are the two saddest parts. It’s especially hard hitting given that Tigger is pretty much always chipper and positive, to see him hit those lows is tear jerking.
I'd also like to remind you that the whoopty-dooper-loopty-looper-ally-ooper bounce was also the same bounce Tigger used to get the rock off of eeyore's house. In the beginning, it caused some trouble, but at the end it was what got him out of trouble!
Winnie the Pooh is franchise that whole a place in my heart because of how much I grew up on it. I remember it being really popular in the 2000s with this movie, Piglet’s Big Movie, and Pooh’s Heffalump Movie. It’s ashamed that after 2011, the franchise has been ignored.
I remember watching this as a kid and being so sad for Tigger and crying. Yes, because he felt lonely but also, seeing a character that is usually associated with happiness and fun-- being so sad, really killed me. I was little, so this was like an introduction to the concept that even the happiest people can experience sadness. It also has a nice message that you can find family in different places. I nearly forgot about this movie until this video.
Words can’t express how much I love this movie. It’s so formative for me as a writer. Seeing that even such a happy go lucky character could have such emotional depth. Certainly helps that Tigger was always my favourite but this movie made me appreciate him so much more. I still belt out the credits song “your heart will lead you home.”
yeah, in Disney animated movies it touches me when I see usually happy characters being sad. Even the happiest people have a lot of emotional depth inside and sometimes they haven't been happy all their lives, and when they are they do it to cheer themselves up and get out of his state of sadness.. And yeah, the song “your heart will lead you home" never fails to move me and make me feel warmed
This damn movie made me cry SO MUCH!!!! Just seeing poor Tigger sad broke my heart. The story also reminded me of the fact how much my family loves me. I have some weird and annoying quirks, but they could never hate me. ❤
This is probably one of the only disney films I can think of where the main character becomes so depressed and feels so lonely that they’re literally ready to just die. I’m so happy to see someone talk about it because I love it, and it’s genuinely brilliant. I remember Piglet’s Big Movie and the Heffalump movie also being enjoyable, but this was my favourite one.
Well, my mom loves Winnie the Pooh movies very much even his cartoons as well. That flick turns 25th Anniversary from 1999. It has emotions to make us Disney fans crying. Us nostalgia Disney fans should rewatching this to remember the good old Disney times since the first original film. Great vid and Hoppy Easter! 😊
Winnie The Pooh has always been my childhood growing up, next to Toy Story and the Jungle Book. As a young child, my first introduction to the franchise was The Tigger Movie, which explains my love for Tigger, after that. This movie pretty much shows that there's more to Tigger than his bouncy reckless nature. And the way I see it, him always bragging about being the only one of his kind was more of a coping mechanism for his loneliness and it shows after the incident with Rabbit's Rock Remover. That scene along with that music score was a tear-jerker for me. Roo was definitely at his best in the film. It shows that there's more to him than just being a younger Tigger. The fact Roo always idolizes Tigger and treats him like an older brother is so heartwarming and he's probably the only one who genuinely cares about Tigger's happiness, I always loved the brotherly dynamic, especially after The Tigger Movie. My favourite part of the film was always the avalanche scene. It was such an intense moment from start to finish, with Rabbit being the only character with no soul whatsoever to Tigger lashing out at him (Totally deserved it) casing in the landslide. And a fact Tigger wasted no time bouncing everyone to safety including Rabbit, not having time to save himself only for Roo to master the Whoop De Duper bounce and the two rescuing each other back to the tree where the offers are at holding dear life, always gets me every time. Harry Gregson-Williams was DEFINITELY at his best as a music composer the music scores really make me feel for the characters and the situations they go throughout this film. Tigger has always been my favourite WTP character and that film showcases that. In my opinion, Winnie the Pooh as a franchise just doesn't feel complete without Tigger.
Yeah, you really nailed my thoughts, I liked it about the movie, it showed there is more in Tigger and yes there is: and that in reality the "always be happy to be the only one of his kind" he does it to face his loneliness, that hit me, and he did have a character development here and what I also like is how more thoughtful Tigger becomes in the end, when he realizes his friends are also his family: giving gifts to his friends, thinking about what they like or need, he even maturely promises Rabbit to now pay more attention to where he jumps.. I also liked how Tigger and Roo's brotherly dynamic had more center, and Roo genuinely cares about Tigger's happiness.. and really the Winnie The Pooh franchise is not the same without Tigger
@SilvanaPuris2310 I'm so glad we're on the same page. I doubt that I would have been into the franchise as much if weren't for Tigger. Pooh may be the titled character, but Tigger is what made the franchise alive from the 20s to the 2000s. (in my honest opinion). WickedBinge even said after The Tigger Movie, Tigger became an even better guy, a lot more considerate to the cast and a great role model to Roo. After watching The Book of Pooh, Piglet's Big Movie, Springtime With Roo, Pooh's Heffalump Movie and My Friends Tigger & Pooh, I can definitely see that, in his Tiggerish way, Tigger does become more helpful and considerate throughout the rest of the franchise. But at least he's still bouncy, that's one trait a Tigger will never lose.

Home really is where the heart is. 😭 The Whinny the Pooh franchise has always had this child-like innocence to it. But also a strong underlying sense of emotional maturity. Lessons that can more often than not apply to adults living fulfilling happy lives.
Since we are in topic of how underrated some Pooh movies are, let me do a shoutout to The Grand Search for Christopher Robin for being by far the darkest movie in the franchise. That movie was probably the first sign of my later developed interest in horror, and it was by far the scariest thing the 4/5 years old me could watch back then
I really like how this movie kickstarted Roo being used more prominently in the movies with Piglet's BIG Movie, and being outright the main character in Springtime with Roo(alongside Rabbit), & The Heffalump Movies(Along with Lumpy). You should review these next!
yeah, I too liked that about the movie and how Roo began to take more role in the following movies: he is always thoughtful with his friends, even though he sometimes makes mistakes but he fixes them, I like that about Roo
As a music student, I'm so glad you made the point about the background score. That motif that plays while Tigger gazes at Owl's family tree portraits, and towards the end when he realizes "You mean you fellas are my family?" filled me with waves of emotion when I was young, and still does. Same with "Your Heart Will Lead You Home" by Kenny Logins. Fantastic job to these writers and background artists. Just a wonderful example of how family movies (pardon the pun) can explore such emotional climaxes and lowkey dangerous stakes. Another reason why I also love Piglet's Big Movie and Pooh's Grand Adventure so much. Same with Pooh's Heffalump Movie capturing that feeling of getting lost in a forest that seems infinitely bigger than yourself, or at least from a child's perspective. I lost a member of my extended family. A brother, if you will. Well, he wasn’t my brother, but boy did I see him as one. His memorial service was yesterday and it still hits me that he’s gone. Tigger is lucky that he still has his friends, and he should appreciate them for as long as he has them, because you will never know what you got till it’s gone. And it’s scary when that happens. OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS MOVIE! This and the Search for Christopher Robin. Had me crying as a child and sure as heck has me bawling as an adult. Winnie the Pooh is an amazing franchise. I recently got back into the WtP franchise, and rewatched the movies/specials/cartoons from my childhood. And one in particular, Springtime with Roo, hit me particularly hard. One of the most popular WtP theories is the whole "the characters have different mental illnesses" theory. I don't really have a lot of thoughts/feelings about that theory. But rewatching this movie brought the "Rabbit has OCD" theory to mind. For a good chunk of the movie, Rabbit's obsessiveness with detail, order, and refusing to play along at first, and how it's portrayed...it brought back certain feelings and memories for me. I'm on the spectrum, and have recently developed Religious OCD. I don't think I can accurately describe in words how terrible my experience with the latter was; I wouldn't wish it on anyone else. And the former really effected how I interacted with people and developed emotionally growing up. And why am I telling you this? Well, the way Rabbit kept getting upset when things weren't going right, and is constantly told "You're making everyone else upset", reminded me of the way I processed things and how my feelings were constantly overlooked in favor of others, how I would never understand why people were upset with me growing up (since everyone just expected me to understand and didn't bother to explain anything). To this day, I still have trouble expressing how I feel, have turned into a chronic overthinker and over-apologizer that lets people walk all over her, and even when I was dealing with things, I guilted myself out of going to therapy with the thought of, "If you go, you'll be taking that therapist away from someone that actually needs them. There's always someone that has it worse than you. You have no right to complain." But then I saw the scenes where Roo brings everyone to his house, and has them repair his Easter Bunny hat. They cared enough that they were willing to compromise to understand Rabbit and help him feel better. Seeing that...made me so happy, and made me wish I had that growing up. I'm slowly but surely getting better, and have chosen to forgive the people who wronged me. But I wish people would treat those with mental disorders as nicely and as understanding as the residents of the Hundred Acre Wood. Also, 22:07 to 23:09 was spot on! You talking about how, even though Rabbit can be harsh he still cares about Tigger, reminds me of my own parents. They're human beings like me, meaning they're not perfect and still have their own issues to work through. And I'm sure it wasn't easy raising someone like me, especially with my lack of social awareness and often being in my own little world. They could be harsh at times, and it sometimes felt like they didn't care to listen to how I felt, but now that we're all older and have matured, it's getting easier to communicate and understand where they were coming from. I love my parents, and I know they love me. I say all of this, not to trauma dump or anything like that, but because I want to tell others that might be in a similar situation that there's a light at the end of this tunnel. Between Springtime and the Tigger Movie, it gives me hope that, even though people don't understand us, there's still someone out there that loves us and will always be there for us. Jesus loves you! Also Roo being Tiggers best friend and biggest support is the best. Tigger’s always been pretty much Roos personal hero, and this movie just cements it all the more.
As for Rabbit, I always saw him as the ant to Tiggers grasshopper if you will. Whereas Tiggers all about playing, and goofing off, Rabbits all about working and planing. I kind of wonder had Rabbit been included on the letter writing, what he would have said…
This movie is absolutely stellar and I remember that this one was the first to get me into the WTP franchise as a whole!! And I absolutely adore this film for what it achieves with its storytelling, animation, and everything!!! I’ve not seen many folks talk about these movies so once I saw this one I immediately clicked and I’m so glad to what I came into!!
I don't know how many times I watched this film as a kid. I seriously don't know, I lost count. I love everything about this film. The characters, the songs (which are all bangers), the characters, the emotion, the plot and the humor. It's actualyl pretty shocking to me why no one ever talks about how great The Tigger Movie is (I recently re-watched it for the first time since I was a kid, thanks to this video, and it's still great.). Actually, tbh, all of the films under these franchise, that being Winnie the Pooh, are all pretty underrated. Thank you a lot for bringing attention to this masterpiece.
Oh my god, I completely forgot about this film until 10:40! I used to love this film, I would rewatch it every week at my grandmothers house! I fully agree about it being a masterpiece, and thank you for returning some of this nostalgia to me!
As an asexual, Tigger's crisis is all to relatable. There aren't others around like you (most likely) and your idea of entertainment is definitely not what other adults would think of.

When randomly clicking on video essays brings you to one that makes you realize where one of your most deeply held beliefs came from. I haven't seen this movie since I was, like, 5 or 6 and I'm now in my late 20's, so I didn't even remember any of it. But I guess it was essential in forming my opinions of how family really works because the points you made at the end there are things that I've had internalized for decades! And nowhere else in my childhood was there something with this strong of a message about family, both found and not. Damn... that gives me quite a bit to think about.

This was the second movie I ever saw in theaters. I've been a long time Pooh fan since I was a kid, and this film always stuck with me since I saw it. An absolute classic
I loved The Super Bounce song where Tigger teaches Roo how to do the super bounce, so I always wondered why Tigger didn't bring up the Super Bounce in future Winnie the Pooh movies like Piglet's Big Movie, Pooh's Heffalump movie & The Winnie the Pooh movie with the Backson in it. Heck Tigger's Super bounce would have been more useful in Pooh's Grand Adventure.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 Yes. Pooh's Grand Adventure came before the Tigger movie. But there were scenes in Pooh's Grand Adventure where Tigger did some high bounces for situations like getting Piglet down from a tree and inside the skull.
The Winnie the Pooh movies dont really care much for continuity unless it's a direct sequel. The 2011 movie even reuses some of the same concepts as Pooh's Grand Adventure and the original movie, which was a bit frustrating because "didnt they do/learn from this already?"

It’s so nice to see somebody talk about this film when discussion of it online seems almost nonexistent sometimes-it really is an underrated gem, not only as it’s own film, but as a love letter to what came before it. I’m especially happy you mentioned the backgrounds alongside the animated aspects, both of which feel like direct callbacks to the original Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh featurettes (i.e. animator on the original film Don Bluth’s younger brother Toby having designed the watercolor backgrounds for The Tigger Movie and other Disney films, the character animation having that scratchy line quality reminiscent of the company’s Xerox Era, etc), while also standing out as its own within the franchise. It’s a movie I find myself adoringly picking apart and examining every so often as it continues to stick out in my mind, and it’s wonderful to see such a loving and thoughtful retrospect here 🧡
As much as I agree with many of your points and think that this is one of the best Winne The Pooh movies to date, I personally prefer Piglets BIG Movie overall, no real reason other than nostalgia, and also the ending makes me happy every time I watch it.

I JUST watched this a few weeks ago--RANDOMLY because I was feeling nostalgic I suppose--and immediately afterwards looked for a video essay on it because it was just as good as I remembered it, only to find that nobody has ever talked about it on youtube! Whoa! The Tigger Movie is literally the last movie I expected you to make a video of. I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid. Anyway, Winnie the Pooh is easily one of Disney's most wholesome franchises. All of the characters are charming, as well as almost everything they do. The entire franchise has solid writing, too. Also, there were so many wholesome in the The Tigger Movie, including Pooh just eating honey. I used to be obsessed with the Whoop-de Dooper-Loop-de-Looper-Alley-Ooper bounce when I was a kid, and it still looks great even today. I also never realized how clever the fourth-wall-breaking opening was.

I remember as a kid, I cried to this movie, and drew the drawings in arts. I didn't know why, and i felt weird, because it was little kids stuff, but it still just felt really good in a way kid me could not understand.

I watched The Tigger Movie and Pooh’s Grand Adventure when I was very young (between the ages of 4 and 7 if I were to guess) and can still remember them to this day (I enjoy Grand Adventure more than Tigger Movie but I digress) There are a handful of media (series and movies) that I watched back then and still remember some prominent scenes to this day Roo performing the special bounce to show Tigger that Roo sees him as family, Pooh and friends exploring the labyrinthian skull cave (the skull cave feels like it would fit perfectly within the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series), the whimsical enchanting melody from “The Beauty and the Beast” opening scene, Melody (Ariel’s daughter) viewing the ocean as her freedom from not fitting in back home in “The Little Mermaid 2”
This movie has always been one of my favourites. Tigger finding what he thinks is his family tree only to find it completely EMPTY, as well as "Your Heart Will Lead You Home", always make me bawl my eyes out. To me, all the older Winnie the Pooh movies (Tigger Movie, Piglet's Big Movie, Heffalump Movie, Springtime with Roo, Pooh's Grand Adventure, and so on) showcase that something can be for children WITHOUT being dumbed down for them. I watched ALL of the old WtP movies religiously as a child, before I was even a pre-teen, and I was able to understand all of the lessons and messages they were teaching, messages which are IMPORTANT for kids to be learning. Family isn't always the people you're related to and that's okay (Tigger Movie), that those you love will always be with you even when you're away from each other (Grand Adventure), appreciating your friends for what good they can bring instead of what they can't (Piglet's Big Movie), how there's not always a definitively "wrong" party in a scenario and to find compromise (Springtime with Roo), these are all good morals to be teaching children that CAN be taught to them. Childrens movies and TV shows nowadays are (for the most part) watering down the morals or messages of their content and treating kids like they're braindead stupid, and I think kids need to be treated with more respect then that and given some of these more serious or meaningful morality lessons for them to understand or learn to understand. Thankfully with shows like Bluey being able to do this and have major success doing so, I hope that more children's movies and TV shows will follow that and be more like Bluey and like these old Winnie the Pooh classic movie treasures.
As a person with autism I relate to Tigger greatly. The confusion between whether or not people truly care when in reality they're just different like me in their own way...that gets to me, man. Even when I've made mistakes or people need space from me, it's still reassuring to remember people can still care about me. This is probably my favorite of the Winnie the Pooh movies. ❤️
One lesson I love in this movie is that families are loving, even when angry with each other. Members make mistakes but their love for each other is more important. Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore are frustrated with Tigger's antics early on, but they look for other Tiggers if it means making him happy. Later Tigger is angry with his friends for tricking him, but when the storm gets worse, he begs them to go home where it's safe, before rescuing them. He's angry with them and claims he doesn't want to see them again, but his love for them is more powerful than that anger
I watched this movie _a lot_ when I was a kid. This, the Piglet movie, the Mini Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and the two Winnie the Pooh Heffalump movies, are all my _absolute FAVORITES!!!_ 😁.
tigger movie is a gem that some people over looked. but most people that show it actually remembered. and the ending song basically the how movie and relatable. and the message is not just for kids but also all ages. if people care about you for years. even if they get mad at you once in awhile. than what's there to worry about? and that last part is a good point. just because you find your actual blood family. doesn't always mean they know you by heart. a family are also your friends you made along the way of your years of travel, school years and jobs you work into. and sometimes your friends can be better buddies than your blood family. it's a good lesson to learn that your family can be anyone and anything. is so weird when they make it seem like it's a bad movie. Piglet's Big Movie's the bad one. it's not even about piglet himself. but only about pooh and friends looking for him and realizing he's the reason everyone's together if without his help from the past. they were jerks and dumb dumbs throughout the movie. THAN piglet shows up at the last minute and saved pooh from falling from a waterfall. OH and I don't mean dumb as in "normal" I mean like REALLY dumb. if you watched the movie. you well get what I mean.
This movie so amazing I cry everytime I watch it especially the end credits song your heart will lead you home which I find autobiographical for the Sherman brothers
Bruh I loved this film growing up! Right up next to In Search for Christopher Robbin. I grew up upset we never saw Roo & Tigger’s brother relationship ever again to my knowledge.
so glad i found this vid because i literally never hear or see anyone talk about the winnie the pooh franchise in depth, let alone the spinoff movies like this one. the tigger movie and piglet’s big movie were two of my favorite and most watched movies of my childhood. the character building and development the characters go through in these movies when they were originally just one-dimensional side characters to pooh makes me see them as so much more than just cute characters on merchandise or just for kids. thank you for shedding some light on this
This was a movie I'd had on rewatch. This movie was fun! And Tigger is my favorite character from the Winnie the Pooh series. Plus, Jim Cummings does a tremendous job as Tigger

I absolutely loved this video!!! The Tigger Movie is up there as one of my favorite Disney films because of the emotional themes and the story itself!! Sure it never got a theatrical release, but it very much well deserved one because this was QUALITY!!! ❤❤❤❤
I'm the youngest in my family, and they got this movie for me on VHS before I was even born. I watched it a lot when I was a kid, and sometimes there's moments in it that still come to my mind to this day. Watching this video reminded me of moments I'd forgotten about in the film, and, while I remembered what the plot was about, it sure confirmed that in my mind. Not my personal favorite and not the movie I have the most nostalgia for, but it is certainly a special one, and it definitely deserves more attention. Awesome review, Rockotar! You're hitting the nail on the right points! Always appreciating how you've got a positive outlook on underrated classics, as well as bringing out the flaws of not-so-good films while pointing out ways they could be improved. Keep it up!
I'd say Winnie the pooh, like Bluey, is a franchise very much just for kids, but that doesn't mean adults can't enjoy and even love it. I do. Pooh is very much ingrained in my family and my favorite disney franchise.
