I love Vegas. Not been there since June 2017. But I just booked myself a flight from Amsterdam. I'll be back next June. Can't wait! Your restaurant reviews are great! But I guess I will have to stick to Strip restaurants, since I rely on public transportation.
Uber is so easy. I'm sure Lyft is too. I just learned about that in Vegas last March. I'm not a spring chicken either! Do what keeps you feeling safe but if there is something you REALLY want to try off the strip, I'm sure your hotel can give you pointers on how to use Uber or Lyft. It's so convenient.
I love going to Blueberry Hill, but the one thing I would never get again is their corned beef hash. The last time I went there was about 3 years ago though. They must have changed the recipe. When i ordered it, it was from a can. Aside from that, I love their breakfast food. The pancakes are so good. I can't wait to move back. I miss going there late at night after having a fun night out.
I've been sick with stomach flu for two days and the Soul Belly segment made me so hungry! Moved here from Kentucky and haven't had decent barbeque in 2 years. I need some of this in my life! (Well, maybe in a few days!)
Just found you today which is right on time because my daughter's in Las Vegas for work and I have share your information with her. She was 9 years old the first time on our family vacation and now twenty years later as a adult and professional. So proud of her.

I saw your video the other day prior to me coming to Vegas. I was really interested in soul belly because of the corn side dish. I went yesterday, unfortunately they did not have their corn casserole, but since I was there already I stayed and had lunch. I had the ribs, cheddar hot link, beans and mac n cheese. This place was a one and done for me. I perfer John Mull road kill grill. I am glad I did try a new place. I never heard of this place until I watched your video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing your experience Priscilla. We’re sorry to hear that you did not enjoy Soul Belly. We have had good experiences there especially with the brisket. We like John Mull’s as well, a fun overall experience.
Herbs and Rye is a must go and amazing. Even besides the steaks, the great sauces, numerous 1/2 off items that are excellent - is the fantastic pasta (I think it was their cacio de pepe) which is 1/2 off all day! And they have some fantastic sliders, beef tartare, etc. And open so late with very high quality, hard to believe but it is true! Esther's Kitchen is great and has some excellent sourdough bread and I highly recommend getting the anchovy butter with it.
Junior's cheesecake from Brooklyn is amazing. I sat on the stoop and ate half of the cheesecake before we boarded our bus home after attending Dance Africa.😊 I wasn't the only one acting crazy over their cheesecake 😂
Thanks for the suggestions! There are lots of "top budget (cheap) restaurants" and "top restaurants (ie EXPENSIVE $100+pp)" reviews. Its really hard to find "Top good & modest restaurants on the strip (ie $40-$80pp or so)" review. Maybe they don't exist..... I am looking for a nice dinner place that is on the classy but casual side (without folks in sweats or sports jerseys) and less than $80 per person for a nice wife date meal.
GRITZ CAFE' BEST FOOD, Owner Trina is THE GREATEST!!! GOLDEN STEER BEST STEAK HOUSE IN LasVegas Hands Down, large portions & lil Pricy but worth every penny!!

Thanks Drew, we enjoy trying different hotel rooms and doing the bed tests across Las Vegas as well! At the same time, we love sharing our favorite places to eat in Vegas, including many local hidden gem restaurants!
Circa is really nice for Downtown, just know if you are in a room facing Fremont that it will be pretty loud at night. What are you looking for in a hotel, only considering Downtown, other things?

love this video, but I'm gonna throw this out there cause I was so disappointed and that's with battista's hole in the wall. Probably the biggest rip off in Vegas. Not a fan 100%
