Every Taco Bell Menu Item Since 1962 

When I was a homeless young person, taco bell was an oasis of warm affordable protein. I could say .79 cent bean and cheese burritos saved my life. 😊

I worked in the marketing department at Taco Bell Corp in the mid 90’s. You missed Border Lights, Taco Bell’s attempt at healthy menu items with half the fat. Ironically enough, these were offered just prior to the bacon menu items that came next. They were all on the menu at the same time for a few short weeks.

I worked at Taco Bell in the 80's, when we made everything from scratch. Hated the taco salad shells, they were always breaking .

You missed the brief appearances of Chocotaco a couple decades or so ago, and the Carmel Apple Empanadas (and other Empanadas) as well. Actually you missed a lot, but those stood out to me.

There are a ton of items missing from this list. There were even shots of menu boards thar listed them. Hard and Soft Taco supremes, Taco Bell Grande, Taco Lite, Fiesta Taco, fiesta Soft Taco, chicken and steak soft tacos, mexi-melt, country bfast burrito (the best), sasauge bfast burrito, bacon bfast burrito , fiesta burritos, combo platters 1,2, and 3. I know there are more.

The enchirito is the best item Taco Bell has ever had. I wish they would bring it back and make it permanent.

Totally missed the beefy 5 layer burrito, $.89 in 2003. It kept me fed in college. I could walk around a parking lot and find enough money to eat.

You missed the Taco Light in the 80s. Large crunchy taco made with a flour tortilla. Delicious with sour cream.

Your time line is off i worked for taco bell in the 2000s and I know when all the crunchwrap came out

My family had a fast food Friday or Saturday once or twice a month in the 70s and when I wasn't in the mood for tacos or burritos I ordered the Bellburger! I LOVED it but never had it again before it was changed on the menu!

I'm not huge on Taco Bell, but my Irish wife LOVES it because they don't have a lot of Mexican food over there, so we go at least once a week.

Once they got rid of Pico I was unable to menu hack my all time favorite, the Meximelt :(

When I was a kid in the 70's, I could feast at Taco Bell Beefer with pocket change.

“Every”? Pfft. Didn’t even include the Texas Taco Sandwich. It probably led to their iteration of the Gordita, but the flatbread was better.

As a poor college student in the early 90s with the 39, 49, 59 menu, I would get 2 tacos, 2 mexi-melts, and 2 bean burritos for less than $5 and be set for 2 days.

Back in the ‘80’s, my favorite item was the Big Beef Burrito Supreme. Each of these must have weighed close to a pound, two were almost more than I could eat as a young man and a couple of them cost 5 or 6 bucks. When you bit into them, the ingredients (beef, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc) were all distinctly identifiable and they were delicious. The last couple of times I ate at Taco Bell the Burrito Supreme was a limp, deflated tortilla with a small dollop of some indefinite burrito flavored goo. The food was so disgusting the last couple of times I was there that I’ll NEVER go back!

There were beans on a pizza. Don't forget the sauteed veges that they added in the 90's or the Choco-Taco. Mostly by franchisee's.

Ah the fries supreme weren't on here, that's one of my favorites. Nacho cheese, sour cream, beef and tomato drowning a pile of fries.

Forgot the Breakfast Burrito, which has been around since the '90s for locations, airports, that served breakfast.

The chili cheese burrito was the pinnacle of deliciousness.

Most folks won't believe me, but I had a plushie of Gidget saying "Viva Gorditas" like in 7:53. As a kid, I never knew what the hell it was saying. After several years, that mystery has now been solved for me.

I still wish they'd bring back chopped green onions. A few people get a case of the runs, and we all have to suffer and do without. 😂😂😂

The French fries are a standard menu item for taco bell I've lived in the Caribbean since 2007 and they've always been available here

I was always kind of wary of Taco Bell when I was a kid, not sure why in hindsight. I love them now, they're one of my go-to weekend choices.

I would love if they actually brought back the chili burger. Sounds super delicious! Also, the more recent Crispy melt taco! The combination of the white corn shell, and the nacho cheese and cheddar cheese was absolutely delicious! They say all good things come to an end, but why? 🤷🏻‍♂️💯😒😂

You left out every Taco Bell Tummy Ache after eating every Taco Bell menu item since 1962 which is around 50 trillion from all their patrons who ever ordered something from there.

My usual Taco Bell order is a beefy 5 layer burrito with a cheesy bean and rice burrito. I was disappointed when they dropped the double decker taco, however. But if they get it then you can bet i'll be sure to snag one.

No mention of my favorite, the Three Cheese Melt from the late 90’s.

The Taco Bellgrande. My father used to order them all the time because they were bigger than regular tacos.

They used to have this breakfast bowl that my mom loved. I think it had potatoes, eggs, cheese & tomatoes. Then, one day, it was gone.

My favorite item is the 7 layer burrito. I wish they would bring it back. I loved the fiesta veggie burrito since it was very similar but, of course, they’ve discontinued that as well.

You missed one. I loved their Frito Burrito. It was a chili burrito with Frito chips. It was super crunchy and delicious. But it may have been a Texas only thing.

Tostados are simply open-faced tacos, just like Mexican pizza is an open-faced Meximelt. (And if TB doesn’t bring back the Meximelt, I’m gonna DEFECT!!)

Best item that was missed was the loaded potato grillers they had. Entirely carbs but it was the best thing they've never brought back

Taco Bell in Korea has a Shrimp Taco salad. It has wasabi in it or something and it just defeats the purpose of having good old white people Mexican food.

Don't know if its just because of different sites or how they're done changed but when I was young (the few times I tried Taco Bell (notfeeling like going into diner and only having a couple bucks on me) I remember the tacos actually being crsip and crunchy but in the decades since then every time I've tried them they seem almost soggy at the bottom and stale at the top.

They showed the flatbreads twice but didn’t talk about them? And ZERO mention of the Fruity Pebble delights? 😑

Thank GAWD i live somewhere where better tasting Authentic Mexican food is cheaper.
