The presecution was for Romas, disabled people , homosexualls, Jews. The discrimination came in Europe,because Romas wanted to live a nomadic/travelling lifestyle. And their children could not visit a school at the same location.In Europe ,many countries offered social houses to Romas,but they did not accept it,because they like to travel and live in carawans etc. Mostly from the iron smith cast, Lohar caste and they liked to deal and collect metalls. And go from house to house to sharpen knifes,scissors etc. Also to work in circus and move from town to town. In India ,it will be hard for them to come back.

The reason is the hostile attitude and actions of the gypsies towards their European host communities. They often attack, beat or kill non-Roma people for nothing and target specifically the weak, old and disabled. Certain Roma clans or tribes have pickpocketing as their profession and don't see anything wrong with that. In addition, when the police and the courts fail to punish such criminals properly, people start fearing and hating the whole Roma community. This is the main reason. I was also attacked and robbed by 4-5 gypsies in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 1996. To this day when I am in crowded places, I keep my bag in front of me. On the other hand, people love gypsies who are friendly, study and work honestly and do not seek to harm others. In Eastern Europe Roma singers are particularly popular, such as Azis, Sofi Marinova and Boni in Bulgaria or Mr Juve in Romania. They sing with great emotion that touches people's hearts - both Roma and non-Roma.

Racism has got no logic.
