It is so hopeful and heartwarming to see a man telling this to a man. Usually men do not listen to or consider it a matter of ego if a women (traditionally considered intellectually inferior) shares such a thing with her partner. I have seen real life examples of women and children living a life where they get scared easily, consider crumbs thrown at them blessings, see the bare minimum and basic good behaviour from others as something they hardly deserve, have a habit to compromise on everything, dignity, mental health. I wish people see the value of this message and what it actually means to empower a woman. If he thinks twice before empowering his wife, he is not sincere to his kids.

I think part of the reason for the societal pressures for a 'weakly' positioned wife is the pressure on men to look after their parents and live in the same home. An 'independent' woman might be perceived to want to change the home for her own needs and not be reasonable to help us around the house. I think the women (and men) that need to be avoided the most for marriage are the loafers and lazy ones and the ones that lack manners or have an argumentative or gossipy nature. To my surprise, Pakistani men also engage in a lot of gossiping, this one really surprised me whilst I lived in PK.
Recently we visited a poultry farm and there were few Chickens in a separate room. On asking why, they said these are the Chickens who are weaker or ill. Once they get weaker or ill, the healthy chickens bully these, don't let them eat well and hence they get weaker day by day. Once we separate these, since all the seperate chickens are weaker, they become stronger in a new environment since no one is there to bully and all the chickens have the same health. so once they get healthier, they shift them with the rest of the flock.
I agree with Mr. Imran Nazir the problem lies in our cultural practices. Influenced by cheap Indian and Pakistani dramas and movies where they twist the realities.
Maan k strong honay mai bht bara hath us k family background aur secondly shohar ka strong hona bht zaruri hai agar larki parhi likhi kam bhi ho tab bhi shohar ka support aur confidence usko automatically strong bana deta hai aur bht parhi likhi larkian aik kamzor shohar and non supportive family background ki waja se bilkul dab k reh jati hain. Aesa mera perspective hai koi isse disagree bhi kar sakta hai.
Most girls and women who get abused by men and even women, are reported to have submissive/weak mothers and abusive fathers, who unconciously taught them to submit to men and suffer abuse. In order to break the cycle of mental and physical abuse, both male and female children need to be empowered with confidence to take a stand for themselves and with compassion to treat people with kindness, and for that parents need to set their own example as children imitate/follow parents.
There is packing order for men as well in the society..and thus a strong father as a protector is equally important. Look at all the inheritence issues... So your observation applies to both genders in my view

I agree with your thoughts that mother should be strong enough to defend her and her kids but Father has to remain equally strong, as kids learn the way to tackle matters in the society from the perspective and behaviour of their Father. 👍👍👍

Assalam o alaikum Owais bhai, I would like to tell you that I have 4 Chicks that my Hen gave birth 2 weeks ago, on 2nd day of birth I called animal doctor for them, he came and vaccinated them, by this their birth rate remains more than natural, they don't die as they die normally without vaccination even living with Hen... so you should also call a doctor and should vaccinate the chicks so that they don't die, I don't know the name of that vaccine but i'll let you know about that on Instagram after knowing from the doctor
I am not convinced by your comment that this hen is weak for her kids. It is your negligence that have made her so weak that she can't protect her kids. If you had fed her well she would have been able to fight for her chicks. It was your duty to feed her separately. Give her D Calc tablets Serbax z tablets Half each every day for 13 consecutive days for three months and keep her away from the other birds. You will then find the results different. You seems to be new in backyard chicken farming.
I am not convinced by his argument either but for a different reason. First of all, I love this guy and he is a very nice person but I guess we can respectfully disagree once in a while. My reason is that there are many naturally weak women, physically and mentally who deserve having a family too. In fact men of good character and intentions should marry such women to fulfil her needs and give her a fair chance at life and happiness. Such a woman will be far more thankful than a woman who could have done it all by herself.

It is better to the boarding chicken and its babies separate as older chickens and the mother herself steps on the new chicks especially in smaller spaces which can easily kill them ..
Brother you are comparing apples (hens) vs oranges (women). In Science the basic principle is comparing like to like and changing only the variable which is being investigated. E.g. compare women from village who dont have access to education against women from city who have access to education and then look at how village women with less education are able to look after their kids vs city women with more education. (Also you pointed out that society has this notion of preferring a timid and compliant woman, so kindly compare how divorce rate has increased in Pakistan and other Muslim countries as women have become more educated, e.g. in Morocco as women have become more educated divorce rate increased 600% over last decade, in UAE divorce rate is almost 70%) so unfortunately your comparison is not very sound
Thats because women became empowered but men remain the same old misogynistic. Why women should always compromise for the sake of 'ghar basana'. Ask men to become more compromise as women had been since ages, divorces will fall. Its not that women had become 'too' empowered, its because men don't compromise anything in the relationship.

Thus men and women responsibilities cannot be the same in marriage and upbringing children. Traditional and Islamic values have much in common. The model of men bring the main bread winner whilst women leading the effort with household work and home child upbringing would always be more successful in majority of the cases globally. Or else divorces would rise as statistically proven west Vs East. Also would miscarriages (working women taking more stress) increase. Whilst degree of flexibility of roles can switch, a total switch would significantly have negative effects like described.

In the same spirit, any weakness or health issue in a woman needs to be thoroughly checked and filtered out before considering her for marriage to make sure she is physically 100% fit.

Sorry Sir but I can not take any advice from someone who displays his women on camera like that… proudly seems like. Secondly, us humans don’t take any moral or societal values from animals except from the guidance provided by the Almighty Allah. It’s not normal for a real man to consider his wife to be subordinate or weak in any way except he would be a means of empowerment for her. Women empowerment outside of this is just Fitnah and leads to kuffar and apostasy as we have witnessed this among the women folk living in the west. Destroyed families , Infidelity and etc What kind of empowerment do women need now? Has Islam failed to provide such? Or is it how the societal norms are now twisted and corrupt where it leads us to these kind of ideas popping in our heads? Maybe we need to open the Quran and Sunnah and get our maintenance guide from there, no?
