I realized the other day that the South Korean government sent financial aid to us here in the Philippines to aid against COVID not just because of the friendly ties our two nations share but also because until now, they wish to honor the memory of the Filipino soldiers who were among the first to aid South Korea way back during the onset of the Korean War. I am very touched by this gesture to say that least 😢

I got hooked too. I also admire African-American culture. My two youngest children love Japanese culture. It’s nice to learn about other countries and traditions. It’s always been my passion. Tnx for loving our culture. I understand your sentiments about those bashers and haters, just ignore them. Many foreigners were now into Pilipino culture, some maybe for views and subs, but mostly they were amazed by what they discovered when they came to the Philippines. Koreans are among the Asians who in one way or the other have come to love the Philippines, in fact many have already established themselves semi or permanently here. In fact there's already a Korea Town in Angeles City, Pampanga. Many Koreans are studying in the Philippines, learned inexpensive but good English, loved the food, and most importantly the people's general behavior that they want to imitate because of their very reserved behavior compared to Pilipino's easy going, relaxed, happy, friendly and no-nonsense attitudes, and many have already adapted it. Take for example these wonderful and pretty Koreans; Jessica Lee, Dasuri Choi and KristyPata, to name a few, they've been in the Philippines for almost half of their lives, speak Tagalog and became Pilipinos by heart, and I admired and appreciated them. Just continue what you're doing, you're in the right path. Be safe and God speed.
