Partly reason for that could be as not many migrant and interact with the local population. As the person said movies show some of the popular culture from the specific state. If we have more videos on different cultures from Manipur, Assam, ladhak, Manipur, Darjeeling , Sikkim, Kashmiri..I see most popular is Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala (for it's scenic views not for its culture ) Bangalore is not so popular not for its culture either, but for IT, Call centers , Dosas, Idli n Vadas, Andrapradhesh is known for its Spicy food but we don't really know much about the culture.

"domestic immigration is very common" - in fact this happens in all non-city states. Singapore being one is therefore a very rare exception in this world. The city-state that she is affords her citizens to be born, schooled, work and retire in the same place. Singapore coincidentally would also be a first-tier city in non-city states, and in fact, a regional and arguably international first-tier city too.

I'm from Pune, my most relatives worked in Bengaluru ( high salary jobs ), even after that they left Bengaluru and settled back to Pune. Reasons are 1. Water crisis 2. Expensive compared to Pune 3. City management is bad. Bus service is best but I have seen traffic jam of 1 km. In Bengaluru . 4. South Indian communist mentality, if they came to Pune, Mumbai for job , they will bring 10 more South Indians with them . (Same for U.P. , Bihar ) but if 1 Maharashtrian working in Bengaluru then he face more challenges. Tamil people are good , open minded compared to kerala, karnataka, Andhra originated people. Keralites are worst. I lived with kannadigas who owns restaurants in Pune . In their restaurants, from cleaner to owner is from South India. They never offer jobs to any Maharashtrian. Near my home Adi Shankaracharya temple exists, we Maharashtrians are not allowed to go there to celebrate Hindu festivals. Keralites gather there and celebrate there. Communist Keralites.

Mny of his views are incorrect. 1. People comes to cities to work. Mostly engineers ans mostly IT. This is the same thinh in ny country. Ppl in singapore will cme to singapore city n so will be in US or ny othet country. Regional places always have limited work comparatively. However, being myself in abroad, opportunities in India even in regional cities are far more compared to any abroad country US,singapore or Au. 2. Regarding salary. I think only India has upper kiddle class and middle class families. On an average these middle class ppl have cars ,maids , cooks and most of the domestic help, can go to retuarants as often as almost as 3-4 days a week n weekend ,going to restuarabts is a norm. Medicare is so good that ppl can afford the best doctors. We dont go to normal mbbs at all. Even for the smalkest scratch,we go to specialists. For simple fever,we find the best pediatricians n the facilities are very affordable. Also, mny companies provide medical insurance to the entire family and we dont pay a penny.These ppl also go for trips which is very very common. Booking hotels n hving a relaxed time visiting places is pretty affordable. So basically with the salaries that we earn,we can have pretty much a very luxurious life. This is impossible in abroad anywhere. The standard of living is pretty low in abroad. We can hardly afford for good doctors and weekend retuarants itself is soo expensive. The salary to cost ratio in abroad is terrible. It almost feels like poverty in abroad. Forget bout luxury. 3 its also easy to buy houses in India as we get 100% loan , if not 90% for sure. The thing in which he said 30% is false. We dont pay nything in cash. Everything must be documented n documents needs to be checked too as one can get easily cheated in India. We can nvr think of buying a house in abroad and its a lifetime struggle. 4. Education is worse in abroad. In India its expensive but we can afford it as the salary is high. We can get best private schools for our children tutions n extra curricullars like music,karate n its everydatly. Not once a week. Imagine wat will nyone learn praticing once a week. In abroaf, the cost is beyind affordable n yet the classes r only once a week. No one cares to teach nnprivate schoolsn tutions r out of our reach. I can go on n on. Basically life is far more luxurious, very convenient and comfortable in India. Dont compare dolar to INR conversion. Compare the quality of life and how affordable it is in India. Yes ppl go to abroad to make quick.money due to conversion n cme back n settle. It doesnt mean abroad is better.

...no, it isn't. Only about 2% of India (being very generous) is actually fluent in English. 5% of it can operate in written English with fluency (with an accent for oral), and only about 10% of India even remotely knows a thing or two about English. The remaining 90% know not a lick of English. Hindi, on the other hand, is known by 300+ million native speakers, and about 646M speakers including non-native speakers. That's basically half the population. Why would he not unlock his content to such a large population base if he could?

Hmmm Bro, you're totally wrong. What about the Punjabis, Sindhis, Gujaratis & Malayaless? They've been in Singapore for almost a 150 years and are non-Tamil Indians. They were just a minority within the early Indian populations, making up the other 40% non-Tamils. Singaporean Indians have always been a mixture with a dominant ethnic Tamil component. LHL just celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the Sindhi community association in Singapore just a few years ago, for instance. There are also six Sikh temples in Singapore serving the Punjabi Sikh community and have an old history. Malayaless are the second largest group, and have a long history in Singapore.

Indian who move abroad firstly it was common among millennium but gen z not so ... they have different mindset. They see india differently. Plus alot of stuff that is happening in the world is in asia particularly india. Yes they might go to study abroad but beyond a certain period of time as i realised you can do work and enjoy in the west but to settle No. Vibe of india is not there ... plus no digitization, too much rules.

Lol yeah right. India just had a record wave of citizenship renunciations this year and last year. If given the chance, people would fall over each other to go to the West, and they do. So many people I know personally who do 2, 3 masters degrees (not really learning anything) just to stay in the US and other countries if they don't end up getting a work visa, spending thousands of dollars. This is not to mention unemployment is like 45% in India, which is just bonkers. And no digitalization? What are you on about?

@Ozukovsky 26 дней назад
@@nikhilkay1 he said Indian accent is "better". Better is comparative and always subjective. Everyone thinks their language and accent is superior. The same Indian accent is made fun of in the United States. So before making fun of someone else's accent one should have more empathy since they themselves might be victims someday. Also what do you mean by an Indian speaker? There isn't one single Indian accent. The English of a Punjabi sounds different to that of a tamilian. The English of a maharashtrian sounds different to that of a native Nagamese speaker. Similarly Bengali accent is different from someone speaking in gujarati. There isn't one single Indian accent
@nikhilkay1

@@Ozukovsky yes, but for American punjabi speaking english and bengali speaking english sounds similar to them in tonality, gesture while north eastern have a very different tone when speaking english. An average villager from India won't be able to distinguish between american, irish, british, scottish, australian accent. for them it would be the same. When I came to US all the english from every region of US sounded same, after 15 years or so now I can distinguish when a new yorker speaks english and when a texan or californian speak english. At first it sounded all same.

@@nikhilkay1 But you get the idea how accents are varied be it Noth India, South India or North-East India while within the same country. But coming back to my original point I don't see what he says as "India accent" maybe he means a north Indian accent is better. On what parameters do you judge one accent to be better than the other? Regarding US accents you can still distinguish a thick southern accent from say an accent of someone from New York. Even in England there are so many accents
