I second his opinion about Tata’s service. As a owner of Tiago for three years I would never go back to Tata for another car in the future.

I am safari gold edition user... My list is much bigger than him... It is now 1 year and 4 months... Still facing issue which are since delivery.... For country like India, make in India products are very important and we have to support them.... But there is limit.... If they neglect then it is loss to nation...

First thing must appreciate the owner, his knowledge about this car or cars in general is excellent 👌👌. Next is thanks to Birla sir he doesn't know what kind of fabulous anchor he is, all questions asked were relevant and information extracted to the point. TATA please revamp and reorganize your service quality otherwise u will be back to making cabs.

This doctor did a research on cars I think. He tells the truth and facts about TATA. But TATA cars very safe due to it's build quality. Recently my altroz diesel met a major accident and sandwiched between two lorries. All passengers are safely came out. To my surprise even car is not damaged fully. It's TATA

Very nice and honest review from the user. As a TATA customer a few opinions 1. PDI from TATA is available and they did that for my Nexon and I did too 2. Service seems to be dependend on dealer to dealer. I had a proper checklist given my the dealer on issues and my average service cost is rs 3500 after 4 service. Having said that, Tata is still responsible for average and below average services provided by its dealers I cant believe TATA still has not corrected steering issues on Harrier.. thats unacceptable and major concern which TATA has to rectify..even if it takes recall of vehicles

Same steering issue in Tata Nexon. Vehicle will go left if the steering is centered. First time when I complained, they didn't sorted it out. Then I reached the General manager of SRT(Coimbatore). He took the vehicle again and calibrated. NOW its straight. ISSUE RESOLVED. Note: Proper dealership like SRT Coimbatore - can fix this issue. To do: Raise a Tweet tagging TATA. They will reach you and fix this issue. [OR] Coimbatore SRT , Saibaba Kovil branch will fix this.

The customer is spot on with all his observations. One more major anomaly is the service interval, while all other European /Japanese cars have service interval of 1 year, Harrier has service schedule of one every six months which is too much

Wonderful review. As an owner after using the vehicle for 1 year has given a non biased experience. As mentioned the steering issue is still not rectified even in the new version too,the PDI is not done. After service is the worst. If TATA is not changing their attitude. Definitely it will be a blunder.

Surprised to know why this owner has never thought of Innova crysta and Hycross if he stretch 2 lakhs. He would have got reliable Engine, service from Toyota. For budget car buyers always best to go with Maruti, Hyundai and Kia.

Thanks to the Dr who has good knowledge of the cars and other detailing of the car. Thanks to Birla bro for bringing out the details by asking relevant question. Had an Idea of booking a Harrier, now double thinking about the same. Since I had several issues with Manza Aura+ Which I have still now. Service is one of the major issue for more than 1 decade. The service people try to convince us rather than rectifying the problem.

I bought Tata Altroz 2022 dec and I should say that service is very laggy, we need to keep them pushing for every issue to get assessed and as he says mostly they say this issue is there for all altroz, but car is good to drive. Altroz petrol NA mileage is highway normal driving upto 22 mid average speed 70 to 80. Some push to the throttle Round 80 to 100 at time mileage is around 19

As usual excellent video from Birla, honest review from Owner , despite hearing such negative feedbacks from most of TATA owners there was no improvement from TATA is a sad thing. This is the case since decades. People feeling patriotic towards Indian makes and investing their hard earned money but getting such service/ products will make them to move back to foreign brands. This is some thing our Indian manufacturers has to change.

@birlasparvai Steering can be fixed, My NEW SAFARI had the same problems. i visited ASS, but i had to go twice, but they could solve the problem. what he did was fix the alignment,, but it was not a easy adjustment like other cars, but they did it. to verify this, i checked the alignment after 4000kms at a regular alignment shop outside, they conirmed that alignment is perfect and didnt need any adjustment. Outcome - Side pulling problem fixed. No more shoulder pains. The shaking and moving of steering in minor road bumps has reduced drastically. If we find ways to get the problems fixed, we can enjoy the car, but it takes effort. Not every ASS will fix things, we need to hunt by ourselves based on city. In Bangalore, i got it fixed at EmmEmm Tata motors.

Hi bro same pdi issue with mahindra...I purchased bolero neo recently and found that no pdi was done..engine coolant was not refilled...very poor response from mahindra service side...thats why tata and mahindra are on down side for service...

Am using Tata harrier XT+ for past 6 months 12k km driven finished 2 free services, The only issue i had is left side stearing pulling issues, The service I faced its also good, fit and finish is average but nowadays german cars also have bad fit & finish than Tata . Harrier is very good car in my point of view❤

I faced the same, there was lot of issues in car delivery. Not even washing vehicle, I had to keep asking to clean not even dashboard was clean. When you are giving a give away or gift. Please give a fresh box with seal intact, so that they can use it when they want. It doesn't feel like a give away when you are opening the seal and giving it after u are reviewing it.

I used to own TATA Aria and these are exactly the same issues that I tried to rectify and hated TATA so much for.

The same steering issue is there in Ford freestyle. Most of the freestyle has left pulling issue where u have to hold the steering always to keep it straight. But the steering feedback and feel is awesome and u can confidently point and shoot ur car at the desired point

I use a safari and I still face everything he said 🥶🥶 mediocre interiors , bad sensors , crappy infotainment system . Steering issue can’t be explained better than this . I get sensors warning every now and then , it goes off once u restart the vehicle but if doesn’t the service guys clear it for u without explaining why it occurs . They simply say it’s a system error and noting to worry 🤷🏻‍♂️ ! Ofcourse u get a good engine and a sturdy vehicle for 25 L but if u r just Looking for a sturdy one u can always buy a 407 and be happy about it .

Service depends on your personality and interactions. 3 வருடங்களாக Harrier ZTA பயன்படுத்துகிறேன். எப்போதும் service problem இல்லை. எல்லா service recordsஉம் எந்த dealerஇடம் சென்றாலும் பார்க்கலாம். I am based out of Chennai. 2 incidents on service. 1. The engine check light was light when I was in a hill station. Called my service engineer. He was confident that it was a reset issue. Asked me to drive cautiously and promised won’t be an issue. But seeing my worries, he asked me to go to Coimbatore if I was not comfortable returning. The dealer in Coimbatore (different franchise) checked and confirmed everything to be right other than a skipped step after service 2 to reset the service indicator. User setting doesn’t override for interval service. They didn’t even charge me. 2. I had to rush to attend a funeral. I realised that DEF oil was very low and got a “100 km more warning”. Called a dealer in Karur who kept the garage open at 7:30-8:00 PM and helped me fill the DEF oil so that I can continue. It is purely personal experience. Observation in steering is correct. I drive both in Chennai traffic and a good highways. Besides the issues, he mentioned, it will hydroplane. If you drive, you have to be careful. But once you use and you are good, it is precise. Observation on brakes is partially true. Fantastic brakes, pads and shoes ware out around 20-25k Headlight and horns are bad in city. Highway you have to be careful as it works only with high beam. Local mileage (automatic - always AC) is 10. Highways 16-17 if you drive in city mode or 12-13 of you drive hard in sports mode. System hanging happens. But once in a month or 3000 kilometres. Not as frequently as he said. Looks like he got a lemon.

On the steering issue, it is hydraulic and that's the characteristic. Regarding the movement to left, it's the wheel alignment issue. For such heavy vehicles, regular wheel alignment and rotation will solve this issue.

Good review... But i could see an advocate sticker in car... As a law keeper they should follow the law, car number plates are not as standard and window mirrors are fully tinted.... yenna sir ithu... Kindly correct it

Tata and mahindra are not a first time buyer cars, the quality of the product and service should improve in a very large scale, having only build quality we cannot compromise on all the other aspects. To invest a huge amount of money you need to have a quality product with good service. In my opinion a person who has multiple cars and gonna buy tata / Mahindra for its macho looks can buy and have fun. Else Hyundai is a best option for its service. Even thou it doesn’t have the looks for tata and mahindra, you can still have a tension free life with the car.

Thank you so much for bringing this issue boldly in public forum. I am Tata Tigor user for the past 3 years and never be a Tata customer again. Such a pathetic service. One example- within 2 years all engine mount got fault. Never buy Tata Cars and this is a trap by putting safety in front. Suzuki is far better in after service.

I believe this steering problem is because of the fiat engine to the traction design.. Same issue I have faced with fiat Punto.

Nexon mine PDI done, service is good. Bangalore kropex. 2 years 10 months completed, till now happy customer. Not sure about all other dealers.
