So true Justin, I lived in pain for 20+ years. Couldnt eat anything too hot or cold, chewing was almost unbareable so I ate very little. My hands shook CONSTANTLY, I didnt realize it was related until the shaking stopped within a week of my extractions. When i was pregnant with my first child my teeth started breaking and it never stopped. I put tens of thousands of dollars into my mouth just trying to have some sort of decent teeth but it was pointless and I was SO tired of the pain I finally gave up and got the dentures. Holy Lord best descision I couldve made! Healing and relearning is a process but how worth it!! Thanks for your videos, you and Michelle have been so helpful throughout this process.
I've been cramming for my upcoming e day on Monday. When you mentioned about being in pain to some extent, everyday, I relate to that. I'm 42 and ready to smile and have a healthy mouth. I know reading up on this and watching people like you; has helped give me the confidence and knowledge about what to expect. Thank you for sharing and providing comfort along with informative details to help others, especially us soon to be newbies, along 😊
Thank's man. My problem is genetic. I'm 41 and at 30 I lost a tooth every 3 yrs or so due to receding gums. After watching this I am definitely making my dentist appointment tomorrow for 6 teeth of dentures. Thank's again man😉
I'm 29 and I am on day 2 of having my teeth removed and immediate dentures on my top put in. I will have the bottom put in next year do to financial reasons. I took the top out after about 25 hours and it was a pain in the butt trying to get them back in today for work. It's a struggle talking eith them in and it feels alot better with them out. I enjoy your content and it is a big help. I am trying to stay positive through the whole experience
I've had my top denture for 8 years now, starting on the bottom now. Just can't wait to be out of pain, had another pulled three days ago. I've been through everything, gum surgeries, bone grafts, root canals.....did everything to save them, I give up. I got used to the top ones pretty quick, within a couple months, don't even think about them anymore. The only person who knows is my wife, I never told anyone else.
My upper teeth E day is in the morning....been watching you over and over and your videos help so much. Thank you Justin! I look forward to continue watching these through my journey. Bless you!
Thank You for such an encouraging message and all though Your moving forward awesomely on Your Journey. Thank You for reaching back. I need the support ❤
This video made me feel better mate 🙏🏻 Dec 23 im getting an impression for upper dentures. Im 46 and i never thought id ever have to get them. Like you said its 🧬 part of it also was not really brushing correctly,. 50-50 id say. I was depressed on and off about it, but im excited now. This video definitely helped me feel better so thanks.🙏🏻 👍🏻 i have to take a few impressions? So im hoping by February ill have them. Unfortunately tge clinic i go to the schedule is i see the drs once a month. Unless i find a real dr office. This clinic is run/ ran by the hospital and its all interns, which are pretty good. But its the schedule like i said. Thanks man.😃 I have one question...is a pallet less upper dentures good? or does it matter having a pallet dentures? I think id prefer without pallet? Does it matter about the dr or insurance? Like how does the decision to get a palletless denture or not.
Thanks so much for all your videos Justin. I’ve been watching different ones each day as I’m preparing for my own full dentures very soon. I’ve actually started a page in my notes according to all your tips, products, etc.☺️ It’s such a scary thing at first, and just overcoming a lot of the fear (I feel) should help going through the process. Usually, the more I know about something, the better I feel about it so thanks for all the knowledge!🙌
Thank you so much, for ALL your videos. I appreciate you mentioning every scenario that people may have to get Denture's. Also yes, let's not judge anyone. Your positivity is helping so many of us! I can't wait to Smile again!!😁😁

Hey Justin, I am about to start my denture journey this month. You may have a video about this and I missed it. Could you tell me about the differences in the mid grade permanent dentures and the higher grade dentures Affordable Dentures offer? I love your videos snd Heather B's. I plan on binge watching your videos beforehand. Thanks so much for all you do to help others. God bless you.
Thanks. The higher the grade the better the material, they spend more time on the dentures to make the gums look more real, warranty is better and finally they give you more say so on how the dentures look (teeth shape and color). I had a the 2nd from lowest at the place I went and I only had one choice of two shades of teeth
I lost my uppers after getting veneers in Turkey fifteen years ago. They looked great but probably killed the teeth. I also smoke. The dentist in UK worked a miracle by making a well designed and perfectly fitting set of uppers. It will be a week since extractions and immediates tomorrow. I am over the moon and not suffering any pain. I even managed pizza tonight. The girl doing extractions was gentle and the dental technician,Ian from Shrewsbury,Winchester House, a miracle worker. I am extremely happy. The shape is natural and no one would tell they are dentures. These are just the first set too.
Another reason for getting dentures is the toxins released into your system from infections and periodontal disease which can cause many problems. Research has also proven that gum disease has a direct impact on your overall health and well-being. There’s a link between gum disease and other health issues like heart disease, stroke and diabetes and just an overall feeling of being unwell.
I have autism and my mother didn’t really teach me to brush my teeth growing up. So my teeth are really ugly now. I’m thinking about getting dentures OwO
Depends on how extractions are done. If anesthesia is used, calming pill, or just numbing shots. If anesthesia or pill, need a driver. I wouldn’t drive that day. If just numbing shots. May be ok to drive that day. I wouldn’t
Hello I am on the road to getting dentures... it's been atleast 7 years that I have hid my smile and laugh. Not even my family knew about it. Having bad teeth locked me in depression. I was suicidal for years. I believe my teeth going bad was from genetics since my mum has dentures from teenage and her story sounds just like mine. I've always brushed them but they said goodbye in my preteens well I had issues with them silently then they broke up rapidly... all my back teeth front and bottom went first.. it's been a hard life for me. I'm now 23 and only this year told my mum about this.. with great difficultly (I didnt want her to judge me and I were scared about the money cost since I don't work) .. anyway she told me she'd help me.. It took me atleast a month to get accepted by the NHS only to find out dentists don't support NHS anymore so that was a bummer. I didnt give up though... and now I'm booked in with a private dentist.. my first app is on the 9th of next month.. they do an affordable denture process which I've taken. I hope all goes well for me like it did for you and so many other people. Plus I would like to add that I joined the facebook group you mentioned in another video ; denture divas.. and that lady was so supportive of me she even sent me voice clips and stuff. Thanks for telling me about that group, it's amazing just like you and your channel. I will forever be subscribed.
