I got my upper dentures for the first time four days ago and I have no problem with taste. I don’t see how you could your tongue has taste buds. The roof of your mouth to my knowledge doesn’t have taste buds. That’s where I’m confused. I Taste everything like Justin says it’s like having a hockey puck in your upper mouth. I don’t like that but other than that I have no problem with taste.😊

Told to leave in for at least 3 day - pop out and warm salt water rinse 3 times a day and no problems. Today is day 6 and have keep them in all the time except for salt water rinse and doing fine. Dentures starting to get lose but will see denture person for soft reline in 7 days, if they get to loose may try and go in early. Some slight pain but not big deal. Taking ibuprofen 800 MG Tablets 3 times a day, Rise really helps.

The others were missing for many years so my gums were healed. I went right from impression to permanent denture, it fits very good. It is very strange to get used to. I’m only on my second day right now with my permanent and I’m not the only issue I have is my pallet area towards the very back is a little sore. I’m not happy having them at all, but maybe I will get used to themagain love watching your videos 😊 and also I only have upper dentures. I do have the majority of my lower front and side teeth so that helps a lot.

How long are you supposed to keep the dentures in with the soft reline? I read one page say to keep it in for 24 hours! And then only take it out once a day for the next 72 hours. Is that true? Just had my first reline snd they are more cushiony and comfortable but they are still horribly loose (I horseshoed my upper so I knew this would be a problem). But the website said not to use any adhesives for a few days after the reline so it doesnt mess up the material. I dont know what to believe. I want to take these out and apply adhesive because them flopping all over my mouth is so frustrating

I am STRUGGLING with the taste and smell after my dentist reline. It’s been a week and I can’t wear them. It makes me sick to my stomach and gives me a headache. I’m so unhappy right now. I’ve covered them in baking soda, alcohol free mouthwash. Washed with dawn and it’s still awful! My dentist was zero help.

I’m new to dentures. I now realize biting into food is not the same as with natural teeth. The brunt force of biting into foods is felt at top of gums part of dentures at nose area. Don’t like that at all.

How to get it off the denture is my problem. I’ve used a little, I’ve obviously used too much but bottom denture is always a problem. There isn’t a single product I’ve tried that lasts 12 hours. I guess I’m going to be told my dentures aren’t made well. I’ve been back several times for fitting corrections. Bottom denture broke in half twice. By now, all the money I’ve spent at dentist and on products could have paid for implants 🙈🙈🙈

I've worn an upper denture for like 7 years and I don't think I've ever had them in for 6 hours straight that entire time.

I've never had my dentures relined. The dentist never said anything about it. I've been using denture cream for the last 4 years and it's a pain in the butt.

I'm new with all this, full dentures. I was concerned about zinc too. Fixodent is a great product. I learned to use Super Poli Grip Powder with Fixodent Zinc Free Adhesive on both upper & lower. Wet, apply powder, then a few strips of zinc free adhesive. To remove, rinse with warm water & original Listerine, soft brush on my gums removes any adhesive. It's been working great for me. My insurance really drug their feet with my dentures. My whole experience took 8 months. I just got them a week & half ago. I went 4 months with no teeth because they wanted to make sure my gums were completely healed. I love my new smile! Thank you for all your time & reviews. Helped me a lot.

Can i use these on an upper partial that has 2 teeth one side one tooth on other, attached to a plate thats meant to go to the back of my upper teeth but doesnt , and leaves me with sore spots where the false teeth are on gums. Theres no flange thingy, only where the false teeth are.? Sorry if that question sounds complicated

I've been using reline-it for years. I find it'll stay for a good 6 months. It does give me a burning sensation but it's tolerable. When removing the old one, I soak it for 15 minutes in hot water and it'll slowly come out by peeling it. If it starts to cool off, just soak it again or run how water over it while removing it.

In the UK we have fixodent 'complete' which does as yours. If holds all day and probably the next too. Although I would not wear them overnight. Not because they would come out, they would not it is just that it is unhealthy for your gums to keep dentures in while you sleep. They stick so well that it can be a struggle to get your dentures out! They clean with any fizzy denture tablet.

After unplugging and plugging it back in, it turns on for 2 seconds and then turns off, turns on and then turns off, and so on ad infinitum.... I took out and inserted the flash drive, changed the plug adapter, disassembled, got to the board, heated the corresponding capacitor with a hair dryer, put it in the freezer for a couple hours, disconnected the heater cables - all the same for 2 seconds turns on, turns the dial and turns off. I've seen this problem with several people on forums, but no one has posted a solution.
