Nowz with the Sekai Takei coming, I think Tory should win the Sekai Takei's girl competition given how much she wants to prove and how much she deserves it. And Miguel should win the boys' competition. Miguel won the 50th all valley, but he didn't win the right way, and fans wanted him to win the 51st all valley by fighting with honor, but he never got to the finale. So, given everything he's been through and everything he needs to do, I say he's gonna win the sekai Takei, and he'll win doing the tornado kick.

the sekai taikai is a tag team tournament so both the girls deserve the win not just tory needs to prove she can win but also sam and not just miguel needs to prove he can win but also robby needs to prove he can win, so both the girls and the boys will win that way everyone would be satisfied with the ending of our beloved characters, also hawk needs to prove too after he lost to kenny and so is demetri.

Yes Tory officially won the tournament but I can completely understand why she would feel that she lost as a martial artist. Sam DID score on her if not for the slight out of bounds and when she rolled her over she was about to score again if not for the accidental elbow to Sam’s face. If I were Tory I would feel a little unease over those facts.

I always thought Sam was the real winner in season 4. But you do bring in some good points. I guess Tory was the real winner all along. I guess people are used to believing Sam is better because she won the previous fights. And Tory only found out that Terry was paying the ref. She didn't know if the ref cheated in the finals which is why she assumed the worst and decided the trophy wasn't well-earned. I find this video to be quite controversial but I kind of agree now.

The point Sam got that people say didn't count because of the bribed ref is truly out of bounds. If you look closely, Tory's feet were out of bounds. The unbiased ref had the best possible view and called it out of bounds. This isn't the same ref that Silver paid. It was the one closest to the edge of the bounds. Did you mean to say Tory got out of bounds after she got hit? Johnny was far away and had no real way of telling. And he was biased towards Sam. So basically that point would not have counted either way. 2. Also Tory thought she only won because of the bribed ref. She doesn't know exactly which fight was truly rigged. It’s not looking good for Daniel Larusso. Every single winner in the Cobra Kai series has been a majority Cobra Kai fighter. Whether that’s under Johnny, Kreese, or Silver. But the only fighter to win under Larusso’s teaching (Hawk) he was clearly a majority Cobra Kai fighter. Miguel and Tory won it when they were exclusively Cobra Kai. We’re gonna need to see someone like Sam or Demetri win to give Larusso any credit soon.

Scenes in s5 that would have pushed the narrative that Tory is the true winner (no,Silver saying she's the true champ doesn't count). At this point with everything that has happened it simply doesn't make sense for Tory to hold on to that trophy.

Even if Tory won champion title, Cobra Kai didn't win the tournament, since there were many more instances of a biased referee trying to help Cobra Kai, we can assume there are several other points that Cobra Kai students got falsely.

I always believed that Tory was the true champion of the All Valley and that she earned it more than Sam did but after learning that the ref was bribed I wasn’t sure if it was still legal but thanks to your video now I know for sure. Now, I'm sure all the Sam fans will point out that it was Yasmine, and not Sam, driving and I do not dispute this, and have already stated that it was Yasmine who plowed into the car. However you also need to review California Penal Code 31 Penal Code § 31, Aiding and Abetting. Under Penal Code § 31, any person who actively encourages another to commit an offence, even a misdemeanor, is considered a participant to the crime. Yasmine fled the scene at the direction of Sam, meaning that Sam encouraged the criminal act. Also under Penal Code § 31, any person who conspires with others to conceal a crime is also considered a participant to the crime. Sam, Yasmine, and Moon all conspired to conceal the crime in question, and we see them actively conspiring about it on screen. A person who aids and abets in a crime faces the same penalties as those who commit the actual crime, in this case a sentence of not more than six months in county jail, and/or a fine not exceeding $1000. Generally speaking those who aid and abet are given lighter sentences to the main offender(s), however as Sam both encouraged and then concealed the crime, that would likely go against her at sentencing. And lets not forget that at their first meeting, the one where Sam ended up wearing the desert table, the trouble was instigated by Sam falsely accusing Tory of stealing Amanda's wallet. This is slander. Slander is a civil offense, and would need to be handled through civil courts rather than criminal ones. Tory, seeing that Sam wasn't interested in hearing that she hadn't taken Amanda's wallet, tried to walk away from the situation, but Sam forcefully grabbed Tory to prevent her from leaving, which is battery, California Penal Code §242. Simple battery is a misdemeanor and carries a sentence of up to 6 months in county jail and/or $1000 fine. A person can use reasonable force to resist battery, and that is what Tory did by pushing Sam into the desert table. I'm not a fan of Sam or Tory, as they are both bullies, and I hate bullies. The big difference is that Tory been prosecuted for her actions while Sam gets to skate any criminal consequences. It is another demonstration on the parts of the writers to highlight the differences in Sam's and Tory's lives. So that's one count of Vehicle Code § 20002 (leaving the scene of an accident). Two counts of Penal Code § 31 (encouraging the Vehicle Code § 20002 violation, and then conspiring to cover up that crime) which would be used to prove the § 20002 violation. And one count of Penal Code §242 (forcefully grabbing Tory who was trying to walk away after a false accusation). By my count that means Sam should have faced up to 1 year in county jail, and/or up to $2000 in fines. All before Tory ever retaliates against Sam. Everyone talks about all the bad things that Tory has done, but no one ever talks about all the bad stuff that Sam has done, which go all the way back to her introduction into Cobra Kai. Right from their first meeting Sam has consistently gone after Tory. False accusations can ruin peoples lives without ever landing a physical blow, we only need to watch a few instances of lawtube discussing these sort of cases to see just how damaging false accusations can be. Sam struck first. First with the false accusation, and then with the battery. Sam then continued to harrass Tory repeatedly while trying to play all sweet and innocent. Sam in this setting is the person with all the influence and power. In those situations those on the recieving end are repeatedly forced to take extreme measures to protect themselves, often with them on the recieving end of a criminal prosecution. Hell, even Amanda ends up taking Tory's side, after having seen how Sam acts towards her. Tory in their first encounter tried to walk away and de-escalate the situation, but Sam escalted it with an act of battery. Whenever Tory has tried to de-escalate Sam has ramped things up, repeatedly, and when Tory went all vengeance on Sam, she then acts like everything is all Tory's fault. Again this shows how well I think this show is written. It creates two camps where people are either Pro Sam, or Pro Tory. The pro Sam fans all ignore the fact that their entire rivalry started with a false acusation, and a battery committed by a character that the writers established from their very first introduction was more than willing to violate the law to their own advantage, and yet because of their position and family influence has repeatedly avoided facing any criminal repurcussions for their acts. So can we please stop acting like Sam is the victim in all this. She instigated the first confrontation, and the first escalation, and the two of them have been raising the bar bit by bit ever since. Yes, Tory has been the one to push things to the higher extremes, but Sam has been there matching her in escalating of the situation. Also lets dial down the attempted murder rhetoric shall we? We know this because Tory, when she was convicted, did not get convicted of attempted murder. Attempted muder California Penal Code § 664/187(a), is where you set out to kill someone, but that person does not die. Attempted 1st degree murder (willful and premeditated), carries a max sentence of life in state prison. Attmepted 2nd degree murder (all other types of murder) carries a sentence of 5 - 9 years in state prison. Tory never went to state prison, in fact she got unsupervised probation, which is not something that would even be considered for attempted murder.

She's the rightful winner of the All-Valley, because her elbow to Sam's eye wasn't actually a point deduction. But hey, Tory gets a pass because you like her more, I guess. And I would love to live in this fantasy world you seem to live in, where a referee is getting paid the big bucks by a competing Sensei and yet somehow *isn't* biased or inclined to let that Sensei's dojo win. So you want to argue against the presentation of the show, the word of the writers, the rulings of the NASKA and your basic fucking eyesight... but Sam fans are the "illogical" ones. You're adorable.
Editing is non-linear which is to say the two shots could be at the same time even though you see them in sequence. Plus it was a close enough call no one thought much of it. Close calls are common in every sport at every level.

When Sam switched it up to apply defence and offence in equal measures, she hit Tory before she went out of bounds, but was called out of bounds, when it was supposed to be 2-2, and then she hit the double punch on Tory, which would've made it 3-2 Sam. Game Over, The End! I'm not saying I am Pro-Sam, Anti-Tory mind you - Tory won a fight when she deserved to win, and Sam deserved to lose, and that was at the prom afterparty. There is a much simpler way of explaining this: the official result of the tournament was declared as Tory as the winner. Mistakes by the officials are part of any sport and cannot ever be used as a way to change an official result retroactively. The only thing that seems to alter official results of sporting events after the fact is proof that banned substances were used, Lance Armstrong being an obvious example. But results affected by bad calls are never changed. You know what's funny? When I first learned about your channel, I was so willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that I just assumed you were a parody channel. That the videos you post with these absurd claims and painfully wrong assessments were all for funsies, that you don't mean any of it, that you're just capitalizing on a particular subset of viewership. Now hold on a sec. I understand the point about there being a line judge, who was best positioned to see if someone crosses the line. I understand that Daniel and Johnny were biased, and furthermore, didn't have a great vantage from where they were. I don't question that Tori was out of bounds when Sam landed the hit. I question why Sam should be penalized by having no point awarded for it, just because Tori was out of bounds. That would be *rewarding* Tori for being in the wrong. I seriously doubt that the All Valley tournament had a rule that would require ignoring anything that happens while a competitor is out of bounds, regardless of which competitor it was that stepped over the line. Was such a rule stated? If there was such a rule, there shouldn't have been, it would have been an absurd rule. My understanding was that this All-Valley tournament rules have always been about rewarding good karate, self-control, awareness of where one is and what one's body is doing at all times, and that includes having enough awareness and control to stay within the lines. It makes no sense to reward someone to violate the boundary, and to penalize the opponent who stayed within the lines while scoring on a legal target area. I doubt the bribed ref's call was based on a legitimate official rule of the tournament. It couldn't have been a good call, any more than there could have had a rule that would *reward* a competitor for stepping out of bounds. Or if I am missing something, please someone point it out to me? Thanks in advance.
Good question. I explained in the stream but I'll say again here. The rules require both fighters to be in bounds to score a point. You can't run your opponent out and then score. You have to be able to score while she is in bounds too. The action stops the moment someone steps out. That means nothing that comes after counts. It's not being penalized, it's part of the rules of the match. So part of the skill required is you can't just run the other person out. Likewise if you run out of bounds 3 times you lose a point. That way no one can take advantage of the rule and use it as a way to get out of a jam. So Sam wasn't penalized nor Tory rewarded. The action stops and nothing counts.

That rule does sound consistent with the previous movies, and you've helped remind me about the rule of losing a point after running out of bounds 3 times, which had escaped me before. I suppose it boils down to whether what happened counts as Sam "running" Tori out of the ring and then scoring. There's room for subjectivity and the ref does have wiggle room given his authority to exercise discretion. Points well taken. Subjectively for my own part, I'm still having trouble seeing it as Tori being run out of the ring. I suppose there's room to agree to disagree on that. But also perhaps the rule is starting to look questionable to me, even if it has been applied consistently. And that ref was also a ref in the all valley, you can see him on the mat. That probably means that the corner refs were also paid off. And your point about Tory actually being out of bounds is easily debunked by just watching the show, you can very clearly see Tory with both her feet inside the mat when the punch landed. And going of my previous point, the corner ref was probably also paid off. And you later go on to say “Sam later lands a clean point, no bias there”. You literally said it yourself, a clean point. At the end of the day, the writers wanted us to think that Tory didn't win fairly. This is evident when Johnny calls out the bad calls by the judge, Terry pays off the judge, and Tory admits to Sam that the fight was rigged. Moreover, a second paid judge at the Sekai Taikai audition is up to the same shenanigans. These instances all point to the fact that the outcome was unfair. So, mission accomplished, John, Josh, and Hayden. In spirit, Sam was the true winner of the All Valley.
