That broke my heart while at the same time shocked me that I couldn't even cry.

It wasn't even that emotional to me, especially compared to the third movie.

By the end of the film I wanted Woody to stay, he wasn’t happy with Bonnie but everyone at the carnival (aside for the prizing and Gabe) seemed so much happier

Toy story 3 could have ended woody’s along with the rest of the main characters as he was the one who threw himself into the box to give to Bonnie.

But Gabby Gabby was literally evil and kidnapped Forky. She also tortures Woody later on. She gets no punishment for this at all. I'd argue that she's way more evil than Sid was. At least Sid didn't know the toys were alive. Yet Sid gets tortured and Gabby Gabby gets... A happy ending?

But she wasn't the leader though, Dolly was. And she wasn't the favorite either, Forky was.

Not to mention she never noticed that woody was gone. In the end buzz says " Hes not lost..not anymore" because woody has always been loyal and made the best decisions for his friends happiness but never once chose something for HIS happiness and his own life. Woody is now free and helping other lost toys like a heroe. Rewatch the movie if u still don't understand

Woody always put other toys and kids happiness before his. Bonnie didn’t need him anymore and she didn’t care for him, but he is loyal and will do anything for his kid, so he did whatever it took to get forky. But in 4 he finally made a choice to make him happy. He understood that Bonnie didn’t need him so then he can he happy with Bo and helping toys that don’t have kids get kids :)

The theme of the first 3 movies was to never abandon your kid, no matter what. And Woody does just that. What happens when Bonnie realizes Woody is missing, after Andy told her Woody was his favorite?

I hated the ending because it indicated that parental figures can just freely choose to abandon their children to pursue a relationship with someone they just met that day who constantly verbally abused them 🙃🙃😓

i completely agree with you. I asked my brothers how they thought of it and they said they liked it but it wasn't as good as toy story 3. They said that cuz they thought it wasn't as emotional as Toy Story 3, which I agree to a degree. I cried during toy story 3 (mainly cuz big baby is literally a doll I have that I have grown up with that is called big baby in hindi so it personally hits me --> side- note: I had to run up and get my doll when I thought everyone was going to die and when big baby cried!), but Toy Story 4 has another element to it that makes it a good ending and this video really summed it up!

I wouldn't say Pixar turned a negative into a positive but they seemingly worked a away around the predicament.

@@lindenlynx Woody leaves Buzz and the rest, and joins Bo Beep at the end of the film. Gabby takes Woody's voice box and finds a new owner that loves her. The reason why Bo has a bandage is because her arm is in two pieces. Bonnie abandons Woody.

At the end of the day the Toy Story 3 ending isn't about Bonnie. It was Woody saying goodbye to Andy. Bonnie is a 4 year old little girl in TS3. It's not like if you're given a toy that means a lot to someone you don't know well that you'll make sure to care the most about him. She didn't mistreat Woody, she just cared about other toys more. It's pretty crucial to Woody's development, because it shows how far he has come since the first film. Sure he's still obsessively trying to be loyal to his kid- but he isn't jealous when Forky is her new favorite toy, or when he isn't played with. Mildly sad about it yes, but he just is happy to see that Bonnie is happy. When he comes to realize that he isn't needed by Bonnie anymore and he comes to accept that, he is finally able to move on and be happy with Bo. When Andy gave away Woody, he was truly saying goodbye. I don't think he would ever stop by Bos to just see his old toys. That makes TS3's ending even more powerful in a way, because he is really gone.

tell me about it. the last shot of 3 was the clouds on andys wallpaper & thats how the first one all started. it was the perfect finale. the shorts & tv specials after that were awesome but a fourth movie was a horrible idea & ruined everything. bonnie was all over woody in toy story that time 4got, toy story of terror & the three shorts & then all of a sudden she just ditches him, pretends she never found him & doesnt even realize or give a shit hes gone at the end. it didnt make any sense. she shouldve been devastated like andy in the first one. nobody would ever pick a fucking fork over a real toy. pixar made buzz a total dumbass too who called his buttons his inner voice & relied on them every damn time he did something. he said in 3 whatever happened they were all gonna be 2gether then woody said 4 infinity & beyond & thats how it shouldve been

In fact, I think the producer did confirm it but just didn't slate a date yet, which makes sense because it takes a lot of time to make a story, let alone a cohesive one. They really didn't need to do a 4th movie, but I think people wanted to know what would become of the toys after they leave Andy's care AND what became of Bo Peep(I miss the RC car too 😢) But that was a love letter to wondering minds, and damn was it a good one. It's nice to meet you and pretty name too.

When I saw Tin Toy I almost screamed out loud. The one who started it all. The toy who provided the inspiration for Toy Story. That toy makes a much-deserved appearance in the final addition to Toy Story. 👏 👏 👏

The complaint isn't that they didn't get development. The complaint is that they are stuck inside of an rv for the entire movie which is lame.

They need the toys to stay so they can make sure they don't leave buzz and the other toys behind. The movie was more abt woody, and there is going to be a 5th so maybe in the 5th the other characters will have more screentime. I mean didn't they not get that much screentime in the st movie either

How was Buzz stupid? You can't expect him to know everything.
