Been using clubs for about a month now. The shoulder I ruined by bench pressing is starting to feel pretty good. There are significant mental benefits. I'm feeling more calm, and peaceful. I'm thinking of training exclusively with clubs, and nothing else. That, and my BJJ, and Muay Thai.
Great feedback and glad to hear the shoulder is getting better! I'd keep some low volume/ heavy load deadlifts or sandbag shouldering, and squats in the mix as well. Good luck!
Karla kattai AKA india clubs were used by the ancient Indian swordsman, archers and wrestlers. It has a long history of more than 2000 years. Working out with this has a lot of physical and mental benifits but it is sad that the modern indians are forgetting about it's benifits. It makes me happy to see the west is realising about the uses of Karla kattai. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for speeding the benifits is this ancient instrument to the world. Keep up the good work mate👍.
Yes we can train legs to some extent, but you need a club of challenging weight. Chest is trickier, and most of the cultures that used clubs, did push ups or pressing of some sort
I referred to warriors thousand years ago, both Tamil and Persian. Correct, I did not name the wrestlers in northern India, and south east Asia, the Russians etc… can’t get it perfect every time 😉
Bro... You are Rushing into it.. Those swings need to be done, resisting gravity, while going down. More slow.. more strength and flexibility.. Half slow.. Half fast numbers
