@@islamdeen8056 exactly the same as spain, I would like yo watch some parts of the Argentina vs Netherlands match to show the anger of the brazilians 😜 as an argentinian I would laugh a lot
If you've ever watched or gambled on the World Cup you'd know that a team with no chance always makes it farther than expectation. Bonus points if its loved by the home country.
Well it is about possession once you score a goal or two to maintain control. But it's pretty hard when you don't have attacking minded players or have players that miss clear goals
If they've lost on purpose, it was the revenge for Germany vs Austria fixed match, which eliminated Spain in 80s. But I don't think they lost on purpose, they wanted a win, but kept 1-2 unchanged on purpose, because it was safe and they could still kick Germans out, having their revenge! They didn't try to win this match after losing two goals. Before that, they were trying.
@@thebicz2693 you're so wrong about your information. It was a fixed match between Germany and Austria world cup 1982 againt algeria in Spain land. Therefore the rules have changed
Mourinho the same guy that got beat up by those pass merchants 5-0? Not a Spain fan and obviously I made fun of them too but don't snuck in mourinho as if he has something do with their loss
@@enelmartodoesfelicidad Tbf it wasn't "sometimes" only he got destroyed most of the time when he came up against those so called "passing merchants" by losing
@@user-zv3kb4xt9z It is sad to hear such things from a Korean like you. At least I was really happy that Korea defeated Portugal and reached the last 16 with us.
kaseiyaoyoshi Whar do you mean Portugal lost by an overwhelming margin. Portugal made it ti top 8 and lost to Morocco, the sane team that beat Spain. Portugal also lost by one goal. It could have gone either way. While, Spain lost 3 out of 3 penalties. That was totally embarassing.
As a Spanish person, yes, this is funny and is also very true. I almost fell asleep during the Spain - Morocco match. The Spanish team will improve the next World Cup though. Or at least I hope so. ¡Vamos España!
Spain needed older more experienced players that were willing to take risks and shoot at the target when close enough. Spain was passing around the ball hoping to get very close to the goal keeper and then shoot. They almost did there in the end, but it was inches away.
Spain just needs quality strikers honestly. In theory there ball possession gimmick is not a bad strategy, they just have a hard time putting it through the net. Plus the Morocco game could have gone either way penalties are 50:50 just ask Brazil lol.
The point of tiki taka is to actually advance on the pitch through passing, Spain is mostly just passing vertically. I really like the spanish team, and if think it is one of not the most skilled team out of them all, but i'm very disappointed with they way they play. Possession is useless if you don't threaten the opponent, and the spanish team was way to static when they had the ball. Hope they will find a better strategy in the future because they sure as hell have talent and skill.
@@Skumtomten1 The reason Tiki Taka was successful is because you had players like David Villa and Fernando Torres who were probably in the top 5 strikers at that time to finish off the chances. Spain dont have any world class direct forwards this time around. The closest to actual forwards were Nico Williams and Ansu Fati. The fact that they played Asensio and Torres who dont even start for their clubs shows how much spain has dropped in quality.
Tiki taka with tons of back and forth passes is the main reason that I felt sleepy to the degree that I could not be awaken to watch the later match of that day between Brazil and South Korea.
easily defeated? no. Morocco did not defeat them. they beat them in penalties. However, I do believe Luis Enrique took a dogmatic approach with the possession-- he needed to release the ball to allow the morocco line to come up higher, move the ball quicker like a counter, Spain looked dangerous when they had space and were countering.
It depends on how you use the possession. 2010 Spain would still be a great team today. The difference is that they were agressive. Why would you even want the possession if you don't shoot? The second half against Japan and the entire game against Morocco was really frustrating for every Spaniard.
@@hectorcastaneda3904 ¿Qué situaciones de peligro creó España? Porque más allá de un par de galopadas y centros de Nico Williams, España tuvo poquísimo peligro. Es más, Cheddira pudo haber matado el partido.
1. Argenibba ref 2. Luis Enrique didn't make the call up for penalty shooters, it had to be done by Busquets. He didn't even call up his best players for the competition although the team was massively stacked 3. Spanish squad has the most talent by far out of any national team. They're an *inexperienced* young team and they had a solid base project for the long term. Everyone knows they're going to win the World Cup again anytime soon with this generational team. 4. The Spanish domination classic. At least they went out with their signature playstyle Important to note, not even Spaniards wanted Spain to win as far as I'm concerned but that's just another classic Sources: Spanish people and social media
Also Morocco is a strong and fair contender to be World Cup winners. Spain lasted the longest out of Portugal, Croatia or Belgium. It's a pity they're setting up this WC for that irrelevant unaccomplished argentina country to win it
And even then I remember that they had difficulties penetrating the defense. People don't notice that because spain had a team of syper stars. Don't also forget that they had the best middlefielders Iniesta, Xavi probably in football history!
I feel bad for Japan, in 2010 they lost to Paraguay on pens in the round of 16. In 2018, they were beating Belgium 2-0, but then Belgium made an insane comeback and scored the winner at the last minute to finish it 2-3. And now in 2022, they loose to Croatia on pens in the round of 16 again. I truly hope they make the last 8 one time, also thanks for your delicious dining Japan, in peru you really inspired us for our food and we love the Japanese. 🇵🇪❤️🇯🇵
Spain was glad that they ended up with Morocco to avoid playing with Brazil later. Little they know that they underestimated Morocco and they were they ones to knock them out! Morocco showed massive tactical superiority over Spain although the very high possession percentage Spain had no actual offensive intrinsic value
@@lordtea Have you seen the Xavi Ball? 94 goals in his 50 games as manager. Comparing Luis Enrique pass and pass football from Spain to his attacking, pressing based football isn't fair or maybe they don't watch footbal lol
the point is almost half of Spain's players are barca Not that I blamed that but Enrique's decisions are already stupid Put some players out of position just to favor his favoritism
@@TaskForce_911 are you comparing Xavi to Luis Enrique ?! Cause Xavi has won absolutely nothing as a manager. And when Barca lose its cause they don’t stop passing the ball around LOL
@@badgoy534 yeah there can only be 1 winner... followin your logic (or lack of) every losing team's idiosyncracy is the reason why they lost the world cup. Yeah man top tier reasoning.
One thing is missing is that morroco had more attempted goals than spain with chdar being face to face with the goal 3 times but not scoring . If you analyse football you'll know that the morrocan tactic was quite complex and hard on the prayers. And let's be honest we should have reached this years ago we got players from top clubs we just had bad management sadly this year a lot of our players are injured let's hope for the best against france but we are still very happy and proud of our team to reach this far
Yeah, people leave that part out and try to attribute the Moroccan victories to "parking the bus" (a bullshit term, denigrating a perfectly legitimate play-style)..
In this cup world I think that having a good goalkeeper is very important Croatia also win because they have a good goalkeeper I love your videos and I'm waiting that's you make a video for Brazil vs croatia 😅
That's when tiki taka was real, now its just passing, back then they had xavi and iniesta they would make a mess of any defense. Clever moves and assists. But now its all just some kids who can pass to each other without purpose and they call them talented.
that's their football philosophy, which is to play ball... goals and wins are just a bonus, possession of the ball and passing is still the main thing.
As moroccan spain was away harder than portugal they mad our players so tired and injured. I Think if spain qualified to the quarter final they could at least play the semis because they have a system and spain can't find a manager better than Luis .
