Why wasn't my DIY EV running?

When it came to move out of my garage earlier this year, I couldn't get my EV-swapped, body-swapped BMW Z3 to run. I didn't have time to diagnose and fix it, so we had to push it everywhere. In this video I head over to the unit where it's being stored to trace the fault.

Cheers Luke! Not going to be looking for a garage just yet. Want to be able to buy one rather than rent. But that will take a while. So back to the driveway it is!

Cheers Marc! Already an update on this, though didn't film it. Did a bit more tinkering and it turned out to be two or three things but all sorted now and it's running! Just PAS to sort out (not necessary but preferable before I move it home). Now looking at shifting it end of next week.

Ha! Lots of work to do on that. All the parts and wires ordered for a cleanup. Will be sorted in bits I suspect. Not looking forward to redoing that whole ampseal. They're a pig!

Thanks for sharing this video, what's the dimensions of the HV junction box. Are the relays from the BMW battery pack.

Can't remember exactly but it's about 30x40cm. Details might be on my wiki at projects.tc. I'm not using the contactors or relay from the BMW pack on the front box. These are much beefier (Gigavac contactors, Panasonic relay) since I'm going to be dumping two packs worth of juice through here. I'll be using the BMW ones to isolate the rear pack.
