That might actually be legit. When you get an old pack and most of it is miscut the exact same way that's typically a real pack. PSA might have detected that one off size card in the pack and said "nope, risk of alteration, fail" incorrectly.
I don't buy any old wax I find it hard to believe there is very many that haven't been searched by now I could be wrong but I haven't seen a pack opening that has anything very good on U-tube
Hahaha! man this made me laugh...the nerve of some people! Not one decent card and the centering was unbelievably bad..haha! Where did you get that case from? I need some of those...
That is so shitty...there was a shop in my local new jersey area that did this.He closed down about a year ago but he was open for a long time. This guy was horrendous...i still cant believe they do this.
wow, thats shady! some of those cards look down right fake! yep he obviously took the good cards out and either replaced them with some fakes, or just some bad ones he had laying around extra!
@@StatueHunter75 this kewl soda person is clearly a moron but yeah I hope these other people in the comments are right about it likely being legit bro... makes sense to me... PSA is full of people who don't know what they're doing like to the point where I feel it's absolutely useless to send anything to them because I can't trust them on literally anything at this point.
@@danevertt3210 the fuck you a troll? A number of people commented saying they seen legit packs like this and you ask that? That level of ignorance is astonishing had to reply lol wtf?
@@NinjaTravis hahaha wait wait wait……now that I’ve watched the video again. Loser, my comment is about how horribly cut those cards are, and I asked if anyone has ever seen that. That last card you can actually see the cut where half of the next baseball cards name is chopped off. Idiot
Too bad you don't know the name so you can call him out. I think I bought one unopened pack of early 1970s from a shady dealer in the 1980s and, predictably, got garbage.
I understand the frustration. In 1993 I purchased a pack of 1961 topps baseball. Didn't open it for a couple of years. When I did open it the cards were 1962 commons. Couldn't believe it a 1961 wrapper with 1962 commons inside. The cards were off center as well. Since then I stay away from so called unopened wax packs.
Lol you already raised a kid that’s biologically mine. What you gonna do about it? What can i say your wife’s a size queen and you’ve got that tiny dick.
i thought the way that pack was folded and opened it was a legit unopened pack. no way a reseal can get the certain folds and seals on the wrapper. just cause PSA won't certify does not mean its not legit. quality control back in the days wasn't the best. to me this was a legit pack.
just because PSA says they won't grade does not guarantee that the pack was searched. PSA is just a third party OPINION. the way the wrapper unfolded, it looked like the pack was non-searched to me, although i would be better able to inspect if the pack was in my hands. there is also a possibility that the pack may have been re-glued because the pack might have just opened from the years and the previous owner just wanted to reattach it back for sale. PSA graded a henderson rookie as a 10 which sold for $30k recently, upon inspecting the card myself through the picture i saw, i could see print defect on the lower right side of the card. there has been trimmed cards making its way through PSA grading also.
My opinion is the only one that counts. Why pay PSA? Some "10s" look like 8 or 9. Huh? Ironically, non graded bona fide cards are more valuable. Their population is always decreasing; graded always increasing. Sentiment about grading may tilt away downward. People paying $500Gs+ for MJ or Brady will fall victims when the market drops.
There was a card shop in vegas. Smokeys, I saw them thru an open door picking and re sealing wax packs in the back room. I was a kid and this kinda killed the hobby for me for a bit. Not surprising, smokeys was forced to close shop for selling fake memorabilia, and autographs. They were crooks who would gladly rip you off.
Your From New York? And tell from that Accent East Coast you should know better! Come on man! You never buy wax packs ! they were put there by someone and then resealed. my friends parents Who own a grocery store back in the 80s and he opened up all these wax packs took out the rookies and Hall of Famer‘s exchange them with regular common cards and then resealed the wax packs with a hot iron! everything is a scam you don’t buy wax packs you buy foil packs!
Word to youse out there: back in '90 (seems like yesterday) I bought a couple of Score Hockey debut white plastic wrapped packs (not wax; plastic sealed) & to my surprise the packs I bought from a now defunct national 5¢ & 10¢ had '89 Donruss commons mixed in. Score & Donruss were two different companies. Huh? It's buyer beware even now. Especially with packs through the roof! Collect "for the fun of it." Isn't that why you bought baseball packs as a kid? ⚾
Only reason you got the Goose Gossage was because it was badly off center and had a piece of gum stuck to it. Re-sealers should be shot. I remember as a kid in the 80's going to the card shop and opening packs that looking back on were probably tampered with. Got a 1986 Donruss Jose Canseco rookie when the card was HOT(1988) BUT the card had a bad corner so probably why it was still in there. I still traded it for a complete set of 1968 topps.
