I put carpet tiles down in my van put the original in a bag first week of getting the van. If one gets dirty you can take it up and give it a scrub. also have a few spares handy.

If you like history head to southern France to the Languedoc-Roussillon region. There is Carcassonne, amazing medieval city but in the countryside is somewhere called Minerve. An amazing small town on a promontory chunk of rock, loads of history and beautiful countryside. From there you could head to coastal route to Spain via Cadaques (sur mer). A lot of surrealist artist spent time here such as Picasso and Dali. Just a short hop then to Girona. May your travels feed your minds, enlighten your hearts and touch gently on the places you pass through. Safe journey.

I remember in the late 70’s in my dad’s Orange Morris Marina Estate getting the ferry to Calais and hiring a small 4 berth caravan. We used to tow it down to the South of France in a couple of days and spent 2 weeks there at different campsites. Great holidays.

Thoroughly enjoy your videos, so entertaining!! Long may they continue!! Safe journey south, can recommend Belgium, so many people just drive through without taking the time to look!!! Luxembourg, also another country that is often overlooked. The scenery there is more than breath taking, it is amazing!!! Well worth the visit. We are caravanners, have been for fifty years, yet still enjoy our wanderings both in UK and Mainland Europe. Looking forward to watching your future videos. A big hug for Chicco!!! Camped in Carnforth in the early 90's. The site was very close to the beach but it was too close to a main rail line. Pleased Mark is better and you both got a mention on @by-The-Curb as James's mother watches you both on RU-vid.

Hi Lisa & Mark, if you go to Germany go to Rhudesheim, it is known as having the happiest Street in Germany and also a chair lift which Elvis Presley was filmed during one of his films (chairlift no.66 apparently), he was a GI in the film but not sure of name. Also famous for its distillery of making Asbac brandy... lovely smooth drink, which they put in coffee and set light to your coffee. Rhudesheim is close to where the Rhine and Mosel meet. Apparently wine from the vineyards on the Rhine are bottled in brown bottles, wine from the vineyards along the Mosel are bottled in green bottles. Lots of fairytale castles which are stunning and make sure you catch them dancing. Hope you enjoy Joy x

Carpet looks great guys, hope Mark is soon back to being 100% well. Liked the bit about the Dolomites, we had a Dolomite Sprint quite a few years ago, was like you know what, off a shovel 😂🤣 It doesnt look like you're coming to Normandy but it is 80th Anniversary of D day this year, lots going off on the beaches. That skylight above the driver seat gets tiny hairline cracks in the plastic and lets in the water. The last quote I had for a replacement was over £1k. Double compound glue has done a few repairs for now!

Thoroughly enjoyed your Scottish tour and now looking forward to seeing your tour of Europe. I lived in the Netherlands for 5 months and one of my favourite places was Madurodam. Apart from being a place that suits all ages, you also get to learn about Holland. I think you guys would love it. Being Scottish, the only thing that i didn't like about Holland was the lack of mountains but otherwise, a lovely country to visit. Aww, sorry you have been unwell Mark (you must have had withdrawal from leaving Scotland 😊) hope you are now fully recovered. Loving the new carpet, looks so cosy bet Chico will enjoy being on there. Exciting times ahead for you both in Europe, we loved Munich and the surrounding areas one of the most beautiful was Neuschwanstein Castle ( Disney castle based on this ) is located in the village of Hohenschwangau around 2 hrs from Munich. We didn’t go in the castle as repairs were being done but the views of the castle and the surrounding land takes your breath away. Amsterdam is so nice, so much to see and do. We also loved Switzerland even all the snow. Safe travels, look forward to your next one ❤xx

Good luck with the trip. You mentioned the Moselle/Mosel. There are a few really nice towns in Southern Belgium on the river Meuse.... There's also Bastogne. In Germany so much. Maybe get Mark banged up in Colditz!!! 😅😅

Go along the Moselle. We used to go from one aire to another along the river. Superb and then go down the Rhine and you will see the difference between the quiet Moselle and the noiserier Rhine. Loads of vineyards to park on as well. Germany is really lovely and loads of things to see but no charity shops.

Hi there, a lovely place to visit is the Rhine Falls (as in the river Rhine) in Switzerland. There beautiful waterfalls & you can take a short boat trip to a huge rock that’s right next to the falls in the middle of the river. It’s stunning. Have a great trip & Safe travels.

Recommend going to cochem on the river mosel. Seen loads of motorhomes parked on the river, and the town itself is beautiful.

The carpet looks lovely and love the little Chicco. At least Mark has got the worse of his man flu out the way. If you are going through Belgium Ypres is worth a visit. Safe travels and looking forward to seeing were you go. ❤
