I think roche is my favorite part of the remake series new aspects. His ost are so wild and fresh his fights are bombastic and cinematic. He was not necessary to be included but makes remake such great thing to play it for
I love Roche. If he were any more flamboyant, he'd be Liberace. I wasn't sure I liked the character in Remake the first time I played it. It wasn't until my second playthrough of Remake that I was like, "Okay, I love this guy." He was the ultimate payoff to Rude's line earlier in that first game about Cloud being weird enough to ve a SOLDIER. I also appreciate his personal sense of honor. All the performances were a little stilted in the first game. I've heard that the first game was built around the Japanese VAs, so the English dialogue had to fit into that rhythm. In Rebirth, however, the game was built around the English dialogue. ,
There's a very good reason why Roche is so flamboyant, because he knows time is short so he wants to make every moment of it matter. He wants to burn bright. He's more aware of it than most SOLDIERs.
