@AlgiereRanch yes and know where your food is comeing from and so much healthier...no one should have to say what there doing to the foods you buy in stores .......learn ever skill you kids can while your young .....make your own butter ,breads anything you like to eat learn to make it your self .....RU-vid and Pinterest I have learned so much canning ,storing foods for long term how to grow things ......nut trees might be of beneficial asset......trees to make your own syrup ya there is a lot out there to learn .....I wish you kids the best ....I know you two will go far ❤️
Hi! I am in the southmost city in Texas, Brownsville. Came here from Doss Farm. Good luck, and yes, this is a great way to raise children! Oh, I am an 80 year old woman, and spent summers at a cottage in Wisconsin with an outhouse and a pump for water, so I know what the old time life is like.

Howdy neighbors..I did similar, moving from PHX to east Oklahoma and starting with Dexters and Highlands. With a couple of years under my belt, I can tell you that you will NOT regret any of your decision to becoming farmers.
