Religion should be abolished.

Thank you Mr. Zuckerman, what people call faith is religious fear of make believe.

If someone says that their religion forbids them from eating ice cream so they can’t eat ice cream, perfectly acceptable. But if someone says that their religion forbids them from eating ice cream so therefore I am not allowed to eat ice cream, absolutely unacceptable and will be met with my ridicule and public mockery.

Christianity is just not credible. The stories are full of controversy. If you see the Bible as a fictional book, you get stories, but if you try making them real, they fall apart. Jesus is nothing more than an ancient superhero much like Hercules, Perseus, and Thor.

I always resented the idea of being born with inherited sin. I'm supposed to feel guilty just for being born? Life is hard enough already without taking on that pointless burden.

Phil was great in this. But I’m afraid his points weren’t landing in the mind of Lewis.

Either teach children about all religions around the world, including all of their creation stories, or don't teach about religion in school at all.

Do good to the others are secular values, not religious ones. No religion can be in charge because by definition it wouldn't allow other beliefs to exist. All governments and schools must be secular to guarantee choice for everyone.

Objective reality exists, and society should be grounded in its principles. If something is true, it has a divine origin, regardless of how we arrive at that truth. Unfortunately, Abrahamic religions are not grounded in reality. Except for a few verses, there is hardly any truth in the Quran, Hadith, or the Bible. The concepts of hell, heaven, the last days, judgment, resurrection, and salvation, as described in the Bible or Quran, do not exist in reality. Nevertheless, a genuine concept of God or the Absolute exists. We must conceive of it in terms of Nature or the Quantum field (as in Spinoza's conception of God), yet there's more depth to it. The idea of holy individuals, enlightened beings, remains valid. The principle of cause and effect is paramount; every action bears consequences. Morality stands as a cornerstone of life. Our conscience guides us in distinguishing right from wrong. It's essential to delve into the concept of suffering and ways to transcend it, and to actively alleviate the suffering of humanity.

We do not live in a free country. We live in a country where people have voted for religious beliefs to be put into our laws.. The state I'm in has a law against Islam. This state needs to be taken to the supreme court and sued. This state is ran by a dictator. A religious dictator trying to force their religious ideologies on others. Look at the most religious states. They're poor states, they have very little education, they have the worse in trying to help people. Religion isn't here to help us, but to control us. Religious people buy the cheapest shit to donate to the homeless and poor. All while harming that community. For example, water is not water. Some water, the cheap crap will take away minerals and vitamins. Causing the homeless more harm. Homeless people are donated sugar. Why, because it's cheap and it makes the religious person feel better about themselves. It's not about the homeless and the poor. It's about the self centered religious person. Of your flying sky daddy is real. Why didn't it stop a tornado from miss placing people r bringing a life to an end. Whike the people not effected say that all that happened because people don't believe. If it harms a religious person then it was a different ideology that is a pyro, looks to be surrounded by fire. Really, this is your way of justifying your beliefs. Another brick in the wall, is a great song. We don't need no thought control.

Martin Luther King was a man,who did not fulfil his own criteria in his private life.That has been known for quite a while.Hypocrisy. A lot of these " heroes " don't live up to the things they preach. Of course,the know it alls know better.... There is nothing wrong with religion,as long as it is preached and practiced intelligently. There are lots of advisable things in religious texts. As for the seperation of Church and State,that has been done since the Enlightenment !!! Overall.At least in Europe. It was one of the basic principles of the Enlightenment period.
