I have been watching and enjoying your videos. Do you have any further tips on removing the ball bearings? I'm currently restoring a Columbia 9000 which has a 270-D motor. I have managed to fix everything else but cannot get the ball bearings out. I have tried things you have suggested, been soaking and agitating for many, many days in a variety of solvents and have tried heating but they just won't come out. If no further suggestions are the bearing caps available to buy from anywhere that you know of?
