I am so surprised Cheyanne is not bothered by the formaldehyde offgassing of a fairly new RV! I have MCS and I could never stay in any vehicle or RV that is not at least 7-8 years old due to the tremendous plastic and formaldehyde offgassing. I understand that right now she does not stay in there but if they plan to use it for travel, it may become a problem.
We totally run space heaters because my husband I have very different temperature requirements during the day (while he works from home in the office). You are absolutely correct- its no different that running one in the house, just watch your voltage. And get yourself a heated water hose. And heat tape for the outside tap- that insulation won’t be enough.
Lol. I grew up RVing with my grandparents from as early as I can remember. And my husband and I started full-timing 2 years ago to keep me in decent weather since I got sick and essentially became completely heat intolerant so I was becoming a shut-in for 8 months of the year in TX. Its amusing to hear your description/explanation of a RV, Chey. I guess I’ve never really been around folks who weren’t familiar with them.
What a great practical idea at least Salvino doesn't have to sleep on friends sofas or in a hotel. And when covid is over you can travel and take your home with you. I hope that you both get to enjoy the R.V. life after covid.

Selvino blogs really well! I enjoyed hearing about everything from his perspective. The camper trailer looks wonderful. And with so many uses I'm sure it'll be a great addition. Glad to hear he was comfortable & slept very well. LOVE the picket fencing around the garden!!! Selvino is doing a terrific job of it. I'm ready for warm weather & planting season too. Silvio you’re a very good husband keep it up! The RV is nice we’ve had a pull-a-long like that now we have a motorhome not an expensive one but I love it. The furnace will eat up gas you might want to buy an electric heater and an electric blanket
Boondocking is a term used by RVers to describe RVing without being connected to water, electric, or sewer. But bushdogging or brushdogging works too. Stay warm.
Thank you. For people in my state there are so many that aren't taking this as serious as it should. A lot of anti-masker types. My child had just gotten her first job at grocery store a few months before covid. After coming home and puddling and crying on the floor. They explained that co-workers weren't wearing masks right and my poor baby had customer cough at them. They yelled at customer " sorry you don't believe in it, but I don't want to kill my mom". So I called there boss and said they would be either taking a leave of absence or quitting. I wasn't going to allow them to go thru that stress when it isn't needed for a child. I have r.a., sjogrens, dercums, fibromyalgia, hypogammaglobulinemia, adrenal insufficieny, trigeminal neuralgia chiari malformation Raynauds phenomenon and oh so many more co-morbidities. So my other child who manages a store I've seen once in last year. Because they too have fear of exposing me. I'm ready for this to have at least more with vaccinated. My health may be too far complex to even get it myself. Praying for you all and everyone really. Much love to you and your family
What a great idea to keep the family safe. Eventually, I hope it's used for fun purposes rather than a quarantine bay or "sick bay." It's a beautiful RV.
The garden area looks pretty darn good! I really like the rv...I would've done the same for myself just so I could have some privacy from my mom but still BE within earshot of something happened to her, but I couldn't find a good deal that would work for me.
You might want to think about a sleeping bag and a liner so the heater doesn't cycle on and off all night long and you can you get some rest. That thing is noisy! Also, thermal underwear and walkie-talkies
