Masha Allah! Beautiful wish if those Muslim rules were being followed and covered the body especially chest of a women before going in front of other male. Where are those Muslim men?
Interesting video. Life in the US can change dramatically depending on the State that you choose to live in the US. Each State is is like its own country, e.g. Florida is sunny without a State income tax, but with skimpy public services whereas Washington State is also without a State income tax but with extensive public services. NY State is blue with high taxes but very good social services for its citizens but it can be expensive. Texas is the opposite. So it goes on and on. From Colorado to California...from Boston to San Diego, the US is a fascinating place with so much to offer. So it goes on and on. US is a great and an awesome country to live and raise a family, as is Canada. Enjoy the journey.
I am also a Pakistani Canadian. I did my schooling in the US and then immigrated to Canada. I would never go back to the US. Moving to Canada was the best decision ever Alhamdulilah. Canada is home now. The people, the standard of living, and the system itself in Canada can not be traded for anything. One thing I agree, getting into professional disciplines in universities can be challenging, other than that Canada is a heavenly place to call home!
Standard of living my foot. Medical quality is terrible in Canada, universities suck in Canada. No matter how good the education is , if MBA graduates from UofT and Mcgill are driving Uber it means universities suck. Salaries are low! This dude is trolling for sure. If people want things for free - Canada is heaven.
People in US are planning to move to other countries including Canada. Hope you like Florida and tolerate the tornado and storms. Grass always looks greener on the other side( in this case other side of the border).
Lol no they are not, much higher % of Canadians go to the US. Especially Canadians with good degrees and those pursuing grad programs etc.. Hurricanes happen in Canada too, but just like Florida major events are rare. Florida mostly has good weather, Canada gets depressing weather coast to coast every year for 5-6 months.
No they’re not. Maybe a small minority are deciding to move, however America has much, much more opportunity, better weather and lower taxes than Canada.
@@syed2194 America is the best..if you are motivated and want to work it is the best . Plus warm weather is better , Canada becomes depressing being trapped indoors.
Where you live is not important. How you experience and what makes you happy is personal and variable. The rich Westerners are happy and not happy. This sort of situation is true in South Asia. You have one life to live live well .
I believe they meant well by their video, but the fact is Canada offered more for them and their family than their home country, which is why they left. Wanting better for your kids/family is what you do or for yourself. But seriously it cant be heaven on earth you have to make it where ever you go, the US and Canada has some good benefits for anyone who can use it that is not available in their home country, As a matter of fact migrating is how we interact with the world, its how we grow its how we unite as a people. If anyone chooses either places to live choose based on what will benefit you and your family home is where the heart is, because things changes all the time this year will not be like next year.
I don’t think it’s entirely small minded. I think ‘free’ is appreciated back home a lot because resources are limited. It’s good to let that mentality go after some time you come here and have stable living
I bought 3 homes in ontario and am set to leave to California as a lawyer :)… I have rented them all and leaving because of weather but I’m Canadian at heart for last 18 years
Hi I am from Dubai. Your video is excellent .. you are very honest and clear with your information. It is very helpful for me and my family...May Allah bless you and your kids.
Canada will become part of South Asia in near future and America is going to be building another trump wall on US/Canada border😂 literally soo many desi people in Canada and they r keep coming in huge number USA will be a sandwich between mexican to the south and desi to the north 😂😂
USA is already full of mexicans and desis and illegal immigrants..lol ... only after USA had maxed out its population ... Canada and Australia jumped in to cash on immigrants .... still a long way to go. The way USA is handling gun laws , shootings , break-ins and other crimes .... it's getting unsafe and worse by each day.
Canadian passport is now like Desi passport due to so many people from third world countries here and are citizens. One day Western countries will ask visa for Canada passport.
@Robin Lee .. lol .. there are more desis and illegal immigrants in USA than in Canada ...there are more shootings in USA ... more break-ins .... more crime ... so you think the world would ban USA citizens in future to travel ? ... Canada and Australia need immigrants to boost their economy like USA needed them once ... still no way near USA and a long way to go .... more than 75% of the population of Canada are whites.
In Pakistan no tax only mafia? Ys a country need tax you want to live you need to pay tax if it’s US as well. Want to get things in free Pakistani mentality.
But it has less racism and lot more peace than US I would say. So people with aim of peaceful life usually stay back in Canada while the ones who aim for more money shall definitely look forward to US. Also about commute, even in US you would have to commute as you said CoVid helped you getting job from home. Otherwise it's the same here and in US both. Winters are harsh since always in Canada though.
Seems like you are creating a lot of reasons to stay happy in America. Good for you. But I asked a few friends living in America and they say work-life balance is much better in Canada. Some of them have actually returned back. Yes US is a bigger market and more career opportunities. Weather is also much better. However, it's easier to get passport in Canada, not sure how long it takes in US. Public-funded healthcare is another big reason for many choosing Canada over US. So both countries have their positives and negatives. I think eventually it comes to an individual's specific situation, what works best for him.
Agreed, but weather is main leading point in USA and more job opportunities. So free public health in Canada can't cover that point. If you have good job in USA they give family health benefits for employees
I have lived in the US for the past 15 years, I also lived in Singapore. I have seen many expats from EU but people hardly leave US. There are tons of opportunities in the US
One thing you said is very very nice,,,that paisa km mile but family life chahiye, meri masi n unke husband unko 2 bete he,,,masi bank me manager uncle professor...life time 2 no busy rahe,,,2 ladke IT engineer to bn gye but ab 2no ladke bina shadi k akele akele rehte he...na bonding na kuch...even mere uncle ab kheti dekhte he retirement k baad se meri masi akele unke banglow me rehte he....you said nice thing...bonding bachpn se banani chahiye family me...paisa hi sbkuch nhi hota...family bhi saath chahiye
Lol. What’s wrong with the lady’s canadian accent. Lol. Its been 25 years for me, staying in the US, still don’t see myself speaking in foreign accent. Our thick asian accent is hard to go so easily. As our kids can’t speak Hindi the way we do, its vice versa.
@@samiazaffar7096 ahh, I see, though I wonder if living in a freezer , taking risk of slipping on ice , breaking a bone etc , to get free healthcare , is worth it
Indian and Pakistanis top favorites country is US. It is true to get in to medical and law in Canada your marks should be over 95%. That is why I always say to work in government jobs in Canada even as a cleaner they ask you to have bachelor's degree in a joke way. US is not so strict like Canada. It is easier to get a job in US as a doctor than Canada very hard and so many regulations here in Canada.
It's like U.K then. Free health system which is now crumbling down and the standard of education is dropping. Cost of living is too high plus small houses.
@@samiazaffar7096 the problem is the government. When any corporation ask bailout government give in millions from tax payer money but when it comes to public then the government cut the services and don't want to spend as if it is their father inheritance. That is why it is very important to elect people who aren't from wealthy families because they will benefit the wealthy and if you elect from someone who came from poor background then he is also bad. So elect good person not just look at the party and elect.
Apart from the job opportunities, I think the rest of the reasons are arguable .. like ...traffic and commuting in Florida is a nightmare ..... weather is just too hot and it gets to boiling hot in summer and no winter ... it varies from person to person but I personally don't like it. Crime and shootings in USA .... worst gun policies in Florida .... not to forget hurricanes and tornadoes in Florida. I have been to 3 states in USA and never liked it there .... anyways ...I hope you spend good time there ... cheers !
This video is like made for me and my family same situation i swear canadian pakistani family deciding to move to USA because of Job and also we lived in montreal too, And looking forward to move to Florida ❤ please dua kijiye ga Allah humry haq mai bh bhtr kary Ameen Big Milestone for us very nervous 🥰🥹🥰🥰
So im a medic having worked and earned pretty decent wages in the uk, and currently contemplating moving to canada. Essense of life is moving and exploring. Given the dodgy gun laws in the US, it is and shall never be on my mind. Outside of UK, Canada and middle east are the best appealing options and given the liberties afforded in Canada, i wouldnt think of middle east.. I guess all comes down to individual lifestyle. Kudos for you to try out, but id be happily trying out Canada any day over US.
The move to the US was actually quite counterintuitive given your reason for the kids, it is indeed the safety of children in schools in the US that is majorly jeopardised. Seems like every month we’re seeing body count rising because of mass shootings. Such a terrible state of affairs. Perhaps not a wise decision after all. I’m sure India and Pakistan are a lot safer for kids. At least we don’t gun them down in schools.
At least you are lucky to have your field job.... 95% of people do not get their choice of job and it might take 5 to 10 years to land in the field of your expertise. That was the survey I found out when I joined for newcomers' program at local govt. job finding centers. They do not tell you the truth but yes this is the hardest reality of Canada.
Please don't use fake accent. It is very obvious that you are trying very hard to show off your American accent. Also , it's easy to move when only your husband is working, and he is your sugar daddy . Good luck
Thank you for the amazing video. Few questions: 1. Since you guys are Canadians, are you planning to obtain USA's citizenship in the longer run? 2. What was the pathway that enabled you to move to US, TN Visa or H1B or other pathway? 3. What are your comments about harsh weather in Canada vs shuttering windows for hurricane?
Winters in New York City are slightly milder than that in Toronto. Chicago is as cold as Toronto. The difference isn't necessarily huge. In the West Coast, Vancouver isn't freezing cold - is as cold as Seattle and a bit colder than San Francisco. We are left with Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton or any other city. Avoid all of them.
They have to wait more than 10 years to get green card and then another 10 years to get US citizenship. Because, US put green card cap on certain countries because they used to go in thousands there and Pakistan is one of them.
@@Hazara26 But they are canadians not Pakistani, is there a faster way? And i dont think they need US Citizenship, Green card or Immigrant visa is also fine
@@mateenali66 immigrant visa is green card. Green card is permanent visa. And they look at place of your birth. Go and read US government site about green card and lottery visa then you will know. Lottery for US green card say even if you are Canadian citizenship you can't apply if your birth place is Pakistan or India or countries which they restricted. Only option is marry American and that is also not easy because so many people did fraud and they say it is marriage of convenience means not real marriage but for US permanent or green card. So that American has to prove the marriage is real and not fake marriage. Or you have to be very highly skilled and educated and US need your skill.
Hello, I am also living in Florida temporarily, but I'm planning to buy business. I used to live in Canada for 22 years. Weather is main factor for us. My son studying in USF, Tampa first year engineering
Biggest problem in Canada is suitable employment and tgeir laws make it difficult for new comers to find jobs as they don’t recognise a lot of the foreign qualifications, it’s a huge waste of talent
Same in US when it comes to recognizing qualifications and experiences. At the end of the day - if an employer doesn't have option they will hire. Problem in Canada is competion so employers have lots of candidates.
Nice blog, very useful information. Out of curiosity, How about “Islamic culture” ? Did you consider that also? You spent good time talking about work work work but what about religion?
For such ppl religion is just Allah will do the best for them and in return what Allah ask them or us to do we say in return Allah is Ghafoor and Raheem. And doing nothing all are busy in worldly life and kids and future, heaven and hell is forgotten grave is forgotten our duties as a Muslim long forgotten. Sadly mentioning it.
Young men are wise to leave Canada and avoid all together it’s corrupt bias family court systems and Families Responsibilities Office. Fathers in Canada have no rights, passport bros are 100% right.
She clearly talked about the competition because students come from all over the world. Even Canadians go to other countries for higher studies. So don’t post negative comments.
Seriously Almas you are right when people move here and also they don’t know what is work family life balance is? Its very important factor to consider while settling in at any place Very well done nice video
No comparison between Canada & America. Canada is much better country. I'm not agreed with their comments regarding University admission in Canada - absolutely wrong comments.
Most of the Canadian cities are roughly couple of hundred miles or so away from American north border, not really far from northern American states. MN. Mo, Washington etc. as a matter of fact few Canadian cities like Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal are located south of few American cities. Canadian northern part of their provinces is not populated. I have come across many from Canada working in MA and and other states.
What visa do you have in U.S.at the moment? Are you on work permit? Or will your company work on your visa towards green card? I’ ve heard that things are not easy in terms of getting green card or permanent status in U.S. If you get time then do reply. I see that you do not reply to the comments on your channel.
USA is much better than Canada. Jon opportunities in USA is much more than Canada. I failed to get a Chemical Enginerring job in Canada, although I have a PH.d from a weel known Canadian University. After 2 years of failure in Canada, I applied in USA. Got an offer within 2 weeks after application. Long live USA.
Pehla point tu us nay bata hi dia khul kar. Yeh aurtain hi marwati hn. Log florida and California chor k Midwest ( Texas, arizona, Colorado) move karahay hn kiu k it's good for the kids compared to those crazy states per yeh Canada chor kar Florida move kargay having a better offer from Montreal. 🤷🏻♂️
Depends. I would argue that education in NY State is cheaper then that in Ontario. If you compare NYC to Toronto then in NYC Pre K to grade 12 is free. Even free 3K is being offered. For all State and City Universities in NY, the tuition is free if the household income is less than US$125K. If it is more then it hovers between US$6K to $7K. NYU Med School is Tuition free. Also, salaries are higher in NYC with almost similar taxes, although sales tax ranges from 0-8.875%. Public Transit is way better in Greater NYC area than in GTA. Also, for Healthcare if you don't have Insurance then you can get on NY State Medicaid, which is free without the wait times that you would see in GTA. NYC has an extensive Public Hospital system called HHC that will treat you regarding your ability to pay or immigration status. I have many families members and friends who have been waiting to see a Specialist from months to years, which in a way is a denial of Healthcare or just as good as having no Healthcare. So it all depends where you are in the US. Things change from State to State.
I am impressed, Bilal is very honest and straight to the point "over my dead body, then biwi quickly changed the topis LOL". Magar baad mai biwi nai pakka danda diya hoga ;) Hats of Bilal!
If a canadian citezinship shift to America then he or she will have free medical care or have to pay? What about schools fees for the canadian kids in america?
Canada is terribe and way too cold, high taxes and cold boring cities . US is much better with much more variety, much better opportunities and better salaries. Most things also cost less , it is shocking when you shop in America or compare Amazon US to Canada. People just end up in Canada because the US has a very convoluted immigration system, very difficult with very long waittimes. H1B to greencard can take over a decade, getting a PR is much easier . That is the only reason Canada gets so many immigrants.
In Canada you can't even get a familu doctor, and peolle waiting hours and hours in emergency , months for basic tests. In US most employers provide a health plan, and it is much better and faster .
