@@PsychoticSalamander Nah, she's a woman. And we live in the age of Feminism 2.0... She could simply identify as an aggressive trannny and then she'd be safe..
First time discovering bjork's music through her post album, watching the music videos of the album, and then I end up here to watch how eccentric she is and beautiful inside and out. Enjoyed watching her videos♥️
The "do you believe in elves?" interview is so unconfortable for me to watch. She literally sang in Body Memory about shit like this "my myths, customes, ridiculed"
Yeah that was really uncomfortable. To be fair to Colbert it was around then there were some viral on-line stories about Icelandic people believing in elves so likely he was just trying to ask questions which resonated with his non-specialist audience. No different from Chris Evans asking a much younger Bjork about beating up the journalist. But yes, the kind of nonsense you have to put up with on the chatshow circuit as an international artist.
The fact that he literally INTERRUPTED her explaining how she visualises music makes it even worse... like she was in the middle of a thought and he blurts that out the way he did. It was so uncomfortable.
that's why she stopped the TV interviews after biophilia. And for almost 15 years we're only getting press interviews, podcasts or radio interviews. Almost every tv show would treat her like an elve or an exotic creature
When she moved to London, she collaborated with a lot of (and dated a few of them) Brits and thusly, picked up a cockney (British) accent xD So that's the main reason for that. When she moved away from London, the accent diminished but she seems to slip in and out of it from time to time
What and who else can you love, when there's a Bjork! ) But why? May be men over the world love her just because she screams and hails so much just like a passionate human female ready to fulfill all your sexual dreams? But that's only one part or plane of her attractiveness. The other is purely musical and her unsurpassed master level of voice control., its dynamic and emotional range The 3-rd one is her sincerity, simplicity ("being stupid") and openness.. And I'm sure, there's much more why we all will always love Bjork..
I just put 2 and 2 together in my head that I was once briefly involved in a love square (1 more person than a love triangle) with a batch*t crazy Dutch girl who looks so much like Bjork. One of the last times I saw her she was passed out drunk after successfully scorning two guys in a single night (me being 1 of them). Makes complete sense now.
