Cool. IMHO website design services shouldn't be subscriptions or at least there should be an upfront build / setup fee. It also depends on the market you're serving but these sorts of businesses usually have high churn from what I've seen in my experience.IF they don't, the price is too low that you'll need super high volume to make it work. and most agencies typically don't do acquisition well so volume is pretty difficult.
@gregoryjhickman oh ok. I saw a video from the owner 180 sites. He's done multiple interviews that can be found on RU-vid. He's doing really well with it. But your way more knowledge than me. It's not just the design that's part of my subscription service.. they also get... Hosting... Domain... Email... 5 hrs of editing requests per month... Policy laws... Bi-monthly blog posts. But your right about price. I don't no how to price this properly so I went for £97 a month 🤷🏽♂️

@@bashvlas wasn’t science. More gut. It was tied to what I felt I could charge that made sense for what they got. I knew I could deliver profitably and that it would be a no brainer.

I live in Vancouver, canada and I am planning to set up a marketing agency for real estate agents in both U.S & Canada as this is a niche I am personally interested in and something I can see myself working long hours in. As of September 2024, do you think this is a good niche to get into? Since 2016, I am hearing that USA is on the brink of the worst recession ever but as we all know it hasn’t happened. So I am wondering if opening a marketing agency for realtors is a good idea right now. I would really appreciate your advice, thanks!
Hi Greg, thanks for the great video! Do you have experience working with analytics agencies and how they can productise their services? I'm asking because I'm struggling to find the service that the clients will value greatly. Based on my experience, quite often they do not need custom reports and are using some kind of a SaaS tool to meet their reporting needs. Another thing they sometimes need is conversion tracking but many freelancers on Upwork can help with that. Appretiate your feedback!
@@konstantin2090 yes we have. For the reasons you’ve mentioned it’s best for those to target higher level orgs that need more that out of the box solutions or align it with an outcome they value more than just a report or analytics. Be more than what a saas tool can provide.
