40 years ago my wife and i built a log home. The day we broke ground my wife found out we were pregnant. I had to go out after work many nights to work on the house by myself but things got better and she was able to help. She was a real trouper. How you did this with three kids is amazing.

You guys are an inspiration! This may come off as strange but every Sunday I watch yalls videos and the more I watch the more I realize how much of life I am missing out on. I sit here as a single 28 year old male that for the past couple years has lived an extremely selfish life and as I watch you guys your beautiful kids and the wonderful home you have built for yourself it just kind of puts things in perspective for me that there is so much more in life that I should be striving for that isn't just work. I know it's not always rainbows and butterflies no family ever is but you have each over regardless and that's the important thing. Thank you both for the content and the motivation to want more out of life

Let's just appreciate the fact that it's nearly impossible for most of us to build a house on our own (I hesitate to even DYI redo my bathroom). Not only did they build a house from foundation up (and then back to foundation lol), they ran a farm, raised children, FILMED EVERYTHING, edit and maintain 2 RU-vid channels...and managed not get killed while doing all of this!! Most channels on cable or streaming, etc. have a whole filming crew, staff and builders off camera. This is just mainly these two. They say a power couple have triple digits salaries, travel the world and have expensive cars and clothes. These two are a true power couple. Let's just appreciate that. #offgridpowercouple #seewhatididthere

Some RU-vidrs try and imitate this wonderful family and FAIL ...abysmally ! The others turn flirting and joshing into smut at times while you two just have loving fun. OMG, your work is so inspiring. The beautiful scenery, even the bull, has made a video that was so pleasant to watch. Funny too. Ellie just brings tears, she is so precious. I helped my wife raise a little, sweet girl. She blossomed early and was bullied on the school bus so we drove her to school for years. She went to college, and has a wonderful family, her son is in the navy now. She is 43. I have 2 sons also, each 4 yrs younger than the other. Children are such a joy, so wonderful, precious and important to our lives. Our best memories involve them. God's blessing to a loving family. Josh, you and Erin are so blessed! Chuck rolling around in the grass was fun to watch and your daughter in her suit playing with the hose brings back a memory of when I was young and did crazy things.

Good work guys! When you frame up for the walls, if you spray the forms with cooking oil, the plywood will release easier. Bruce and Chuck are stealing the show. It's not everyday that you get a steer that is as gentle as Bruce. I hope he doesn't learn how to use steps, otherwise you'll have a winter house guest.

But, I think viewers would like to know where you stand with your insurer. And, in order to save more explanations, you might try building/installing a demonstration wall between two piers, so viewers can understand what you're going to do.
