I came here after listening to her creative intervention in the podcast The Digital Human. "Appreciate the moment", "celebrate de mundane", a great lesson, thank you, Tiu.

Absolutely lovely, insightful and joyous talk. What a reminder for us all. No matter you religious or spiritual perspectives, we all engage in many many rituals, often times unwittingly. Thank you for helping us remember the oh so importance of engaging this very act.

I really appreciated the message of this TED talk as someone who both participates in and leads earth-based spiritual ceremonies. What I've learned: It's important not to appropriate traditions from other cultures without permission and also training. Also, I don't recommend creating ceremonies that create harm. If you must release things into the environment, make sure they are biodegradable (balloons are not).
