You should not be seeing it as: "they complain" therefore they are unhappy. People can complain about things a LOT but still don't want to live without it. In that sense, complaining is actually a part and parcel of the whole deal. The question is whether their lives would be better without it, I bet, most of them despite complaining actually prefer staying with each other and do derive actual benefits which they feel no need sharing on gossip calls. The nature of gossip calls is to complain. People complain about their kids who at the same time they love more than anything on the planet and would do anything for. So, complaining is a very shaky variable to support your hypothesis. Second, they seem "unhappy." Maybe there are 8 to 80 other contributing factors to their low well being that you are ignoring completely? Maybe YOU are subjectively attributing marriage as the reason for their unhappiness, when you have absolutely no idea about the data and variables required to calculate what exactly and how many factors are contributing? lastly, your pov might also be coming from an incredibly dark view of relationships and therefore you are looking at the world from a biased lens to confirm that bias? maybe these unhappy people actually find comfort that they have somebody to sleep with at night, to care for, to have fights with (believe it or not -- it keeps people going), to joke around with, to gossip with, to complain about, to raise their children with, to watch Kapil Sharma or news with, to talk about political state and this and that with, to go to mandir with, to go to vacations with, to meet extended family with, to have meals with, to have grandchildren with, and grow old with. People are not perfect, so perfect marriages don't exist either. But the benefits of a normal regular marriage and having a companion FAR outweigh being lonely in your mind. Nobody is pushing marriage on you. If you don't wanna marry, please don't. But then don't simp either. Don't message girls on insta or fb either. Don't be having office crushes and making fake profiles and stalking girls either. Acharya Prashant is right, marriage is not the need of consciousness. Else no married person would go in depression. But usually we see otherwise.It's just a way to fulfill biological drive of reproduction. But to understand that you have to be open to operate on the level of consciousness. Most people operate on level of body. That's why by a certain age(30-35) almost everyone around you will get married. I think most of the followers of Shwetabh fall in the second category.
