I remember my last ex told me two months after the break up: I am dating someone new and I am happy with him, things are going pretty good and I will encourage you to completely move on from us, I appreciate what we had and I am sorry for the bad things that happened. Wish the best of luck. And more than one year later, I never heard from her again.

Yes you will think about your ex all the time dont missunderstand its ok you love her/him its normal give yourself that time to prosses but as they say let your ex be it does work when you least expect it he or she will call your phone focus on you its ok to cry to feel sad it a part of the healing prosses but for your sake let your ex be stay strong it will be better

I reached out to my ex after 2,5 years of no contact and guess what... she didn't reply! I am deeply thankful for all the videos you've made that helped me through my darkest days just after our breakup, it is largely because of you that I feel that even though my ex didn't respond it really isn't such a big deal anymore, and that life has lots of other avenues to explore.

Good video.. trying to reach out to an ex when they don't want to talk is just spinning your wheels and getting "stuck". I learned this the hard way. But I do think space and time is everything... I will say though that ghosting is WRONG.. if someone ghosts you when you have not been given any sort of idea that something was wrong.. this is way different than what is being talked about above. Closure is the kind way to go with someone. Once you have given them the tools that you can to move on... then it is up to them to accept it and move forward. IF however, you don't give them the respect and courtesy of closure of some kind.. they will likely feel the need (as I did) to seek out that closure because their heart needs it. I highly recommend closure so that the person you are letting go CAN process it in a healthy way and the likelihood of them coming back to keep reaching out goes way down. I suspect that the unhealthy ones know this and will do it to keep getting the ego trip of having that person come around. Thanks for your videos, Craig (and Victoria!)

My ex wants to talk to me. 2 weeks ago she said she thinks about me all the time. She said she wants to text me everyday. She said she thinks about how we get along so well and when we fight we forgive so quickly. She said she can’t be my friend because she’s afraid to see me with another woman. She broke up with me!!! She has a new bf who just moved 3 hours away and is supposed to go back to his country soon. We dated for 8 years. Her new Bf gave her an ultimatum to block me or he’d dump her. She struggles with low self esteem and depression and I’m just devastated by all of this. I finally decided to stop contacting her because I find it to be pointless. She’s made this decision. I don’t comprehend it but what can I do? She said if she wakes up and realizes she made the biggest mistake of her life she probably won’t reach out because she’ll feel like she doesn’t deserve me. Lmaoooooo what am I supposed to do with that? I guess I just gotta move on.

This is exactly what I needed right now! My partner and I had an argument 3 weeks ago and he hasn’t really communicated since except responding to a few texts, but not the responses I hoped for. So I’m trying to stay no contact but I’m struggling because we haven’t actually broken up and I still have stuff there. Hopefully NC isn’t just dragging out the inevitable.

It's about to be the one year anniversary of me being dumped and it seems like my ex is doing fine with her constantly posting happy things on social media. I feel like I've lost this battle and it still feels like there's a hole in my heart. My situation was an LDR. So it was definitely a tough thing to deal with. I'm still having a hard time dealing with this. I haven't posted on social media for many months because of the pain I've been feeling. So much push and pull from it. Some days I'm not thinking about her. Then on the days where I do happen to think about her, I start to spiral down bad.

@@HibaSiddique101 My ex gf was the one who dumped me. It really broke me and it made me question my self worth quite a lot. I still do now because of it. I've been trying to do things to better myself the entire time. But the break up still comes to haunt me every night. I was dumped because my partner couldn't handle the distance and she didn't like that I deal with depression a lot. I was always there for her whenever she would need me. It just felt like she gave up on me. It made me feel like I'm just not good enough for her to keep it going. But besides that, I'm glad that I'm not only one who's dealing with this kind of situation and thanks for the love and support. It's definitely making me feel a bit better at the moment 😓

@@DualShot This sounds EXACTLY like how i was broken up with. He just couldn’t handle the distance anymore, especially with the pandemic. It tears me apart that MY person who i imagined the rest of my life with, just checked out. Someone who made you feel like you were their everything suddenly don’t feel the same way anymore. You’re definitely not alone and i feel every word you say. It’s been 3 months for me and some days are harder than others. Your value does not decrease just because someone else didn’t want to stick around despite the odds. As hard as it may sound, that’s what TRUE love really really is. @@HibaSiddique101 The pandemic really made things hard for my LDR too. We both had so many plans for our future. But that came to an end when traveling became harder to do. She was supposed to move in with me and we had our lives planned out and everything. It hurts me knowing like why did she make plans with me if she just ended up leaving in the end. It just felt like all that time ended up going to waste. Even though she left, I still love her with all my heart and I don't think I ever will stop loving her. She seems to look more happy without me on her social media's though and here I am sulking and staying in my room pushing people away because of being afraid to trust anyone now. I just hope that I can find myself again and possibly find someone else or to end up crossing paths with her again. But for the time being, I will remain in radio silence like I've always been. No social media posts or anything. As if I was dead and continue to better myself mentally. There's one thing that's motivating me to keep working on myself and to not break radio silence is that i shouldn't be the one to fix something i didn't break. At this point all I can do is pray for things to go my way in the future. I send love and strength to you for your journey of moving forward from your situation too. We're both gonna need lots of it during this tough time 😓

@@HibaSiddique101 I also know now that I don't want to be in a relationship where I would have to beg for love to be reciprocated to me even if it was a little bit of it. I believe in the saying "you get what you give" and when I love someone or something, I love it unconditionally and I'll never give up on it. But if the same effort I'm putting in isn't being provided by my partner, then I'd say the relationship is already doomed to fail... I learned all this during my many months of radio silence.

I took 10 years away from my ex. Never did he leave my mind. I reached out over a month ago. We started texting. I know he's busy with his job & he claimed he had no service at his recent job site. Texts were hit & miss. He has a gf in which he claims he wanted out of that relationship. We actually talked on the phone & he was interested in getting back together. We had a really great talk. We would text off & on & now it's been over 2 weeks & no responses? It's so hard not to get upset & anxious.

I love Victoria's outfit! My ex hasn't spoken to me since the breakup(or should I say discard) back last autumn. The annoying thing is he drives by waving and honking when he knows how brokenhearted he left me! I just ignore it. At this point, I avoid him as much as I can. Craig is spot on--its like a death. For me, the loss is a very slow death. It feels like he died, and a part of me died too. 😔 These videos are like comfort food for me! When I watch them I feel like someone cares. My ex told my twice via text to move on....he was ice cold, he broke up with me and a month later had a rebound and told me that he 'moved on in life and is happy', I was really going through the most....but thankful I discovered your channel and watched it night and day for motivation plus got your workbooks....it wasnt a walk in the park, my anxiety levels was so high at times I couldnt breath...got an attachment-based counsellor and worked on my seperation and attachment issues....he reached out after almost 3 months....plus he is an Avoidant...the rebound fell apart and he came back testing the water....we hooked up and are working on the relationship...he told me 3 things....'accept me for who I am, dont pressurize me and he needs space'...all the things that an Anxious like myself did in the relationship.....so I am so much more concious of how I communicate....your guidance is gold and I am still watching, growing, learning....Thank you, Craig and team....I have watched and rewatched your playlist 'Be a Master in Relationships'...there is no way I am going to stop now.....

I’m currently in NC with my baby daddy. He broke up with me almost two months ago and I have been making every mistake in the book after the break up. In the beginning I begged and went into NC for three weeks. He reached out to me and said he missed me, he called me on the phone, we talked for an hour, and now I’m starting to realize it was probably only to relieve his own anxiety 😒 He started contacting me almost daily because he had some financial issues and asked me to help him out. At first I was glad to, but then I got upset because I realized I was doing things I used to do in the relationship, but I wasn’t getting the relationship I wanted out of it. I blew up on him, he told me that just reminded him of why we broke up, now I’m back in NC 😢

I LOVE you two! I slept like a rock last night while I had you guys playing all night. Your voice is soothing. My ex of 2.5 yrs have been on a break since April (long story) but we’ve been in NC on and off, plus I see him from time to time. So needless to say I’ve been horrible at NC. But I’m officially starting! It’s only been 5 days. Lol. I will bet money he misses me. I talked to him after 2 weeks and he said he misses me and almost reached out. He’s a definite avoidant! His actions speak louder than words. When he sees me he acts like a boyfriend but then he can’t seem to get himself to text 😢 I’ve got no other options but to go NC!

I’m going through this now. My ex and I work together and she won’t even acknowledge me. It’s very sad but I also see it as immature and unnecessary. Saying ‘hi’ to someone is not a marriage proposal or a lead on. It’s just respectful.

My wife told me after 23 years she needed some space to find herself and her and my daughter moved out 4 months ago. She still has things at my house but I haven't seen her since easter. It’s been 8 months since the breakup and 4 months NC except for about a week ago, 3 days after his birthday (I didn’t text him for his birthday.) Some important paperwork came to my address (I guess he forgot to update his address with them) and I texted him to let him know the paperwork had arrived in the mail. I left the documents outside and he came to pick them up. We didn’t see each other and our texts were strictly about this. I am not sure if it’s time to just move on or if there’s still hope. We were together for over 6 years. He also blocked me on IG although we were not friends on there and during NC. Very weird..

No contact. Be patient for 30 days. If something happens, good. If nothing just carry on with enjoying yourself. Do not reach out.

30 days is not enough time ....that's a myth.

@@chloolivia8278 usually 30 days is for you to figure it out where you stand. You should let the nature do the work while you are improving yourself thinking of your next relationship. All my exes came back within 30 days, not seeing them now as you should never assume that the only reason they came back is because they "love you" again (one came back as her new boyfriend was just boring so she was just looking for fun). Always assume there is a reason why they reach out so rather be ready for that.

My ex won't like or comment on Instagram accounts we both follow. Ones she previously interacted with before. Idk if she's just trying to avoid detection or pretending she's not online. It's been almost 9 weeks of no contact since she broke it off but said we could be friends. I deleted her 3 accounts off my friend list but didn't block them. TBC...

Hi Coach always good listening to you videos been doing it since #2018 and your content is amazing. This is now my second break up I went through we dated for about 2 years and mutually decided to end it. However I would like to try the relationship again in 2 - 3 months to see if we've learned anything. However here is the kicker She keeps on talking to me and I'm afraid if I tell her to stop or if I ignore her she going to take it personally and then there goes my hope for reconciliation a bit later on what should I do?
