Lowkey I needed to see this for healing purposes. I thought this defense would be good enough to withstand poor offensive play. But I’m more nervous about the QB situation than ever before. AOC/Minshew production is the X-factor in achieving Super Bowl success. The defense may cause a lot of 3 and outs to the opposing offenses, but the Raiders skill players will be game breakers IF the passes are accurate!!! When I saw the title and it was from you- I thought “what?! No way Carl can think this!” Espn reporters all just clown and trend follow anymore. I don’t know that many people that actually pay for anything from them anymore. Aiden has dead on accuracy when not under tons of pressure. He doesn’t have the long ball gun that DC4, Brady, or Rodgers had- but the better 2 of those 3 didn’t their first couple years either. So getting an extra 1/4 second or 1/2 second for Aiden to pick his throw- that dude could take us all the way. My thought was keep Renrow who is the best slot receiver route runner in the game. If he was in most the time and back to playing a real offense instead of that Joke McDummy ruined him with- he would be back in probowl every year.

I was good with trading Mack I would be good with trading Maxx too. As long as we get a elite QB. We had Maxx and Mack how many playoff games did we win? Trade Adams too who cares. We can get two really good college WRs for less than what we're paying Adams. As long as we don't have a good QB we won't win.

The only reason to trade Adams is cuz he is about to make around 40 million. We can use that money to build the line. If he can restructure I say keep him. But don't get me wrong, i would love to keep Adams
They already built the lines. The only thing really in question is how good AOC will be in year two, and he and Adams have a connection from last season. They have enough cap right now to sign another free agent, or to resign Koonce or Hobbs now. I'm sure that Adams would restructure his contract. He's already making so much money that it doesn't really matter if he gets the bulk of it after he retires.

I don’t think you understand that this was the last opportunity to trade him and get something back in return. Adams is turning 32 this year and is slowing down so theirs no way he’s worth 44 million so this is Adams last year as a Raider he’ll get cut and will get nothing in return for him just a dead cap hit for 15.7mil.
It’s not like he’s declining with him being older. He’s still among the top receivers in the league & they can move money along to keep Adams. They want to keep Adams & Adams doesn’t wanna leave.
