youtube deleted my most popular video so if you want to support me and maybe buy a shirt it would make a huge difference - teespring.com/stores/eddyburback
I don’t mean this sarcastically: I enjoy watching other people’s shitty content through smaller channels like this. Because I can cringe but support you and not them with views.
Yes. But we also have to give people the room to grow and change. We don't criticize for the sake of criticism. We criticize for people to do better. I was the biggest opponent of hers and I have to say that her latest videos show growth.
@@AM-re2bc she's done so many shitty things that have affected many people, she is definitely not the person who should be followed as some kind of leader in the feminism movement
Nicole, in her song: society tells women that they all have to be pretty and perfect and sexy!!!! Also Nicole: ok let me just hire a bunch of conventionally attractive background dancers
You say pretty and sexy, I say fit and healthy. You do realize that literally every doctor in the world says that fat people are unhealthy right? You do realize that fat people are more susceptible to heart disease than thin people don't you? You do understand that fat people are more likely to have diabetes don't you? Maybe you should stop worrying about hurting someone's feelings, and be more concerned about their fucking health, because I'm sick and tired of my tax dollars being spent, in the form of Medicare and Medicaid, on fat fucks who can do something about their health, and not the people who need it like cancer patients who didn't just set on their ass and eat their way into the fucking hospital.
@@sarah-annecarney7552 my comment was meant to be directed towards someone else's comment, unfortunately her name didn't end up in it. The person I was responding to made a comment about all the dancers being pretty and sexy. I was correcting her when I said fit and healthy. I never said anything about morbid obesity, I said fucking fat, and nothing I said was medically incorrect. What I said may have been politically incorrect, but it was the truth.
“In a way... a guy did... write... that.” DIED In the start of the dear fat people video, she’s trying so hard to be Jenna Marbles and bombing so hard it’s honestly tragic.
Not Jenna Marbles though, literally obsolete decade old past Jenna still dating Max and living in Boston before Julien or Veganism or Paeche! It was a very outdated delivery that belonged to and was created by younger Jenna, who is so distanced from who Jenna is today that she felt the need to climb out of the internet machine entirely.
Only having known her "Dear Fat People" video until this moment, I was shocked that she'd be the kind of person in support of women's rights and not the kind of person to claim women have had equal rites since the 19th amendment
my least favorite thing of what she did is she made a cringeworthy video titled "Depression is all in your head" and it is somehow worse than this and she says that she had depression when she obviously didn't because she obviously doesn't know what depression even is. also she says in it that she doesn't care about the criticism she will get for it and then goes and disables the comments on the video.
"You're depressed? just stop being depressed lol" "You have insomnia? Just sleep lol" "You're homeless? Just buy a house and get a job lol" "You're blind? Just open your eyes lol" "You're paralyzed from the waist down? Just get up lol"
Marcus Aurelius .... or maybe fat people need to stop shoving food in their mouths and depressed people need to stop blaming the world and other people and reach out look in the mirror. And before you tell me I am being judgmental, I have struggled with both. This sad modern era is so destructive wants you to accept mental illness as ok. It is not. And tough love is what many people do need, Not telling them they are ok while eating themselves to death, or shutting out the world and blaming everyone else for not reaching out.
"make better choices" sorry im fat cause im disabled and cant exercise plus weight gain is a side-effect of my antipsychotics so yeah just let me uhh make the "better choice" to stop taking my meds that keep me connected to reality and also make the choice to stop being disabled (cause its just that easy!)
I think she's trying to imitate the way Childish Gambino says it in the song, but like...she's really doing a poor imitation of it. Maybe Nicole should just...try doing her own thing? Oh wait, her own thing is her referring to a 13-year-old boy with weight problems as "Jabba the son". Just go away, Nicole.
I don't want to live in a world where the people who worked on this video thought it was good so I just decide to believe that they are evil geniuses who made it shit on purpose
Aomi Naito people who worked on this video were black, and she likes the original song so she thought it would be fun to do a remix about women. In North America
Given her level of narcissism, and the amount of unapologetic hypocrisy in her body of work, I have to believe that everything she does publicly is something that she thinks is really clever and smart. When she puts out a video this psycho thinks she's making career moves...
Also the fact that she encouraged EDs as a way to lose weight is just DESPICABLE. How DARE you tell people something like that, how is she okay with herself at all??
This is America was about black issues and various problems in our society and she just took it and made it her own messed up badly edited and terribly written video not to mention exposing herself as a hypocrite,Like no who said this was okay no.
This is also the woman who made such videos as “Dear Instagram Models” “Dear Side Chicks” “Dear White Women (might have also been chicks? can’t remember/don’t care)” so let’s not pretend for even a second that she actually cares about other women. She’s just trying to stay relevant. Screaming into my pillow forever!!!!!
It is a stereotype that women don’t write their own songs. Taylor Swift has always written her songs and people didn’t believe her so then she wrote an entire album with no co-writers.
Randall Paquet the existence of broader sexist ideologies that cause people to believe that women are incompetent as a whole is not a stereotype either way
when I was younger my parents were both disabled and both heavy set, so I developed the trait of walking slowly to make sure I could walk by their side. I cannot tell you how many people have made fun of me for being so 'slow' when in reality I was just raised this way. I cannot change this. It hurts me a lot to have people make jokes like Nicole did because it's not like I'm heavy set myself, I just walk slowly; but both my parents passed away due to their health problems and having someone make 'jokes' about topics like this is really horrendous to sit through.
Nicole and Matthew Santoro were working together. One night, he tried to drive home drunk and she tried to stop him. He freaked so she let him go. As payback, he called the cops saying she was trying to kill herself and she was falsely hospitalized for suicide tendencies. He stated it would make good controversy for views and asked her to make a video against the drama. Then he made his own. She "broke up" with him and stopped working with him. He had been taking her ideas and taking credit for it. So then, he went on air with the man who had sexually harassed her in order to make her look bad. He also told her that no man would be with her without thinking of Matthew. Coincidentally, he kept buddying up with each of her current boyfriends, posting pictures. Basically taunting. Then, Matthew's girlfriend confessed that Matthew admitted to making up the abuse and other allegations to make Nicole look bad. Then it came to light that Matthew Santoro was also stealing other peoples work. Nicole actually has recordings, texts and receipts to back it all up. Check out her latest videos exposing herself. Yeah, some of her videos were bad. Her music video is bad. But that doesn't give bad people the right to lie and gaslight her and doesn't make the truth any less the truth.
@@AM-re2bc You're doing the same thing you're getting on others for doing. Given that you are not involved in their situation, your opinion on what happened is just as much of an assumption as the people saying she abused Matt. Double standards are pathetic.
7:18 I’m not defending Nicole, this is not a reference to the bachelor. I’m pretty sure it’s about how a married man goes to other women, despite him already married. Even though a married woman can do the same....
When I was younger, I was naturally super thin, and stayed that way all through college and into my 30’s with no effort whatsoever. I might gain 10, then drop it...no big deal. I thought I would always be like that, never thought I’d be fat. As I hit my late 30’s, those extra pounds stopped going away on their own. It was so gradual though, I let it sneak up on me, and now it’s all I can do to maintain my current weight. I’d love to lose about 30 pounds, but it’s a real struggle to do so. I do not know how old Nicole arbour is, but unless she has the rarest of genes, her metabolism will almost certainly slow down as she ages....so I hope she is super careful and doesn’t gain any weight, because “dear fat people” will come back to haunt her in a bad way if she does!
She works out and is a dance choreography. She also struggled with her weight after a car accident and she was in on medication that made it difficult to eat so she lost a ton of weight and when she got off her meds and recovered she slowly started gaining weight and she is at a healthy weight now.
My biggest issue with her video is that she's completely missed the point of Gambino's video. Gambino was dancing and smiling to draw our attention to him rather than the seriously awful things going on behind him. He used it as an analogy to show what America is basically doing right now. We are ignoring the serious issues we have because we are distracted by media, entertainment, money, fame, etc. She just took his video as a dance music video with people doing things in the background (which is what she did with hers). (EDIT: She disregarded his analogy and just walked up to people, let them do a skit, and walked away.) His 17 seconds of silence for the parkland victims also went right over her head. Also the reason he used older cars and his outfit and him calling cell phones tools and the way he danced and just everything Gambino did in his video. Also, she can't hit the low notes for shit. Should've at least changed the key.
Bella there was so much meaning behind that amazing video, showing the conflict between races and people in general, she used it for her own completely selfish thoughts that aren't half true. I feel bad for anyone who thinks she's a type of inspiration
A lot of the issues she discussed happen. Thats not the issue. The issue is that she took a black man's piece of art and tried to make money off of it. "Just another white person making money off of a black person's work". She also just did such a poor job with her video. I would be as if I drew a stick figure and called it the Mona Lisa. We agree but things she "sang" about do happen in today's society.
colin rice She would be the kind of person to beat a man and think it's okay. Or maybe her partner was a woman but yeah my abuse radar thing is going off with her. She freaks me out.
@@chris135x a bunch of people made videos about it. Maybe you wont be fully convinced that its true unless you see a video of her pounding his face or something but since there isn't you'll have to see how trustworthy the sources are
Lexington Cat not at all, but I do hate people like you who jump to radical conclusions because you're a snowflake who can't handle criticism in a free society.
The hilarious part about this video is that she’s listed as a professional choreographer on Wikipedia and also got her start as a cheerleader, yet her dance moves are so so awful.
Lmao omg your right. God Ashlee Simpson’s awkward ass little dance was the fucking cringiest thing on the Internet. The amount of second hand embarrassment from that is off the chart.
When you said you were only gonna use the pillow once, I knew you were lying, and I didn't even know who this "celebrity" was before now. Good job, Eddy.
I have a feeling she's gonna be one of those ppl in her 40s who obsesses over old pics of her when she used to looked good n was in her prime but now she has kankles n makes her daughter into a pageant kid
I thought the handing out hearts wasn't a Bachelor reference, it was a reference to men in committed relationships still looking at and "liking" scantily clad women on social media
i thought that too. it isn’t even a female issue, because women do that too, it’s more of a just society in general/social media issue. so either way her point doesn’t make sense.
The last half of that isn't even an issue. Cheating? Clearly a problem. It's wrong. Looking at scantily clad women/men while in a relationship? Wtf is wrong with that. You aren't dating them. Just from my own personal relationship.... We both watch porn and shit lmao, hell, we share videos and pictures with each other. It doesn't effect our relationship.
When "Blurred Lines" was released, a group of girls made a response for the video. It was clever, well written and tackled the issues with the original song and the video. What Nicole did was a deservice to her "causde". She leached from someone else's work to pass on her message being fully aware of the importance and reach of the original. The message is good, yes, but is being devlivered by a hateful woman, who judges people by their looks, who has no empathy for people with depression (while saying she has it herself, so she knows what you HAVE TO DO, because she is the "expert") and who abuses people around her. Sorry, but as a woman, i dont want HER to use me, my problems and my daily challenges to promote herself as a champion for women. She does not speaks for me
She never said she was a champion for women, that dark - haired man did and what does he know. She is a comedian and she was trying to be funny. Plus, i can relate to what she said in video. Obviously she does not speak for you. She does not know you. She was speaking for herself.
She's the type of mom whose kid would have their friends over and she'd want to hang out with them and honestly think they think she's cool but really everyone is uncomfortable at how awkward she is making things lol
The story wasn't actually bull. The kid actually spoke up a little after the video's release when it was first blowing up, and revealed how people like Nicole always made him feel bad. he added that he did lose weight, but it was on his own terms, and people looking to do the same should do it for themselves and not because someone made them feel bad about themselves. It was really sweet.
Oh boy, the mockery behind this garbage is ridiculous. Why couldn't she be original, this is nothing new, down playing societal issues that don't directly impact and then turning around and basically saying these issues matter more, WTF, SERIOUSLY!!??
The fact that her story was true is even worse. Imagine being so cruel to a child because of something so trivial like his weight. What kind of person does this? This just makes her even more disgusting.
zombiedrea Then Nicole was on T.M.Z she i like a apologize because it was to early to do this video.she still dose not get the point it's a shit video.
This was a fantastic way to politely define your opinion. Idk how to put this directly into words but "thank you for the time and effort you put in to your content". Subscribed.
Few things you missed: Nicole Arbour is first of all: a Canadian, so this whole video is meaningless Second: the environment completely rips off and ruins the original setup, using a smaller warehouse, meaningless extras, awful choreography, and in the end, the awful cars meant to show Glover dancing on top of what's supposed to represent the working class Third: Her excessive use of swearing defeats the purpose of Donald staying clean in hopes of hitting the mainstream and letting younger people hear the song Finally: what the actual fuck is that dubbed guitar and editing
In one of Glover’s live performances of this song he features an incredibly talented fat dancer doing some amazing moves (really defies the stereotype of fat people as he clearly is someone who practices dancing on the daily and can get down and do flips and shit). Not a lot of people will hire a fat back up dancer and then give him a solo and really let him shine. Glover is very clearly cool with fat people.
8:54 The Taliban, you know, split responsibility with Al Qaeda for 9/11, in which 3 THOUSAND American civilian lives were lost and which hurled us into two wars, one of which continues today. Are you sure about that?
It’s not that all lives don’t matter, it’s just if someone is trying to start a narrative about black lives and how they matter and thus we need to discuss racism to protect said lives, butting in with nothing other than “but all lives matter” is the equivalent to someone trying to raise awareness on breast cancer only for someone to say “but don’t ALL cancers matter? Why are you only talking about breast cancer?”. It’s not that all lives matter is a bad take (I’d argue most lives matter is best because the lives of say, animal abusers shouldn’t matter at all, but maybe I’m getting nitpicky), it’s just that when people bring it up they usually never have anything meaningful to contribute to the conversation, and so it seems annoying even if the saying itself isn’t a bad one. So in short saying it is associated with people who don’t really want to get into deeper discussions but would rather throw out a few buzzwords like all lives matter and forget about it, hence why they may come off as annoying (even if they don’t mean to be dismissive of any discussions)
