It’s weird to say but when I was fishing on our quest 2’s I felt the switch and forgot I wasn’t on a beach fishing. I know it’s not the same but I can see it happen and totally understand the switch.
I'm confused about how the AI girlfriend knew about Dune. Specifically, I'm pretty sure she she shouldn't be up to date on media released so recently. Most large language models are like a year or two out of date because data aggregation and training takes a long time, and its not like they just have access to the internet, or would even know what the fuck to do with it if they did have access to it. So was that scripted? Was all the AI girlfriend stuff scripted for a bit? Not sure.
The tone of your voice in the first 10 seconds says you already hate the headset before even trying. The amount of fatigue and hate for just ordering the headset showed that your opinion is already biais.
Sooo old and irrelevant now, but 100% agree with your take on Colbert. The Colbert report was so unbelievably good, and I was so excited when it was announced that he would be the new late show host. But as a host, he's been soooo boring. But i guess it was doomed to disappoint, because the late show was NEVER going to take the risks comedy central would.
The delivery of "I'm not saying that great whites and serial killers and exactly the same… but I'm I saying that the venn diagram of sharks and serial killers just became a complete circle? Absolutely yes." was just great. LOL
the long shot of Eddy in his room at the end with the music transitioning from "bright looking future" to "unsettling dystopia" was so so good. incredibly well done.
32:00 wtf man, those are thick AF. Calling that a 'smash burger' is criminal. Disgusting, there is no way the people making those even eat burgers in general.
AI girls sporting nice "t|ts". Thank you, the future! We are doomed. When I used to dream of a world with robots and AI, it was that the technology would generally wash my clothes, sweep the floors, cook my meal, help with my work and not me fondling its "b00bs" while it is rendering a painting of me, in the style of Dutch masters, putting together a sandwich. Sorry for the silly words, RU-vid seems to think anatomical words are dirty.
our brains are surprisingly easy to trick into accepting what we see as true reality. its part of the reason movies can be so emotionally powerful and why vr is so effective
I gotta say...uh... I sorta disagree a lot here? I mean, yeah, Shue was oblivious and callous a lot... that was actually not excused but even thematized sometimes. Rachel was a bitch and a selfish arsehole, yes. And child abuser got to go free... isn't that the scene? Glee never tried to make these people look like they are perfect? So... how is it a gotcha to say 'Look this person did a bad thing!' ... yeah... they did. And nobody denies it. Sometimes good grows out of it. Sometimes it doesn't. But it was never put in a positive light, at best in a controversial one. And I think controversies were a subject of the show, weren't they? Like, teen pregnancy resulting out of abstinence only education was theamtized... not judged per se. It was shown what can happen, how different people dealt with it and it gave the subject a face. Did some of the characters handle it horribly? Yes. Was it excused? No. So... yeah... I mean... 'aged like milk' only is correct if you want to make a boring show in which everyone just lives an example. Which makes for damn boring watching to begin with, and also passes a really devastating judgement about your audience's intelligence.
So Disney Orlando has a rainforest cafe, and Universal Orlando has a Margaritaville... The mall of america has them facing each other... Theyre a few steps down the river walk in San Antonio... Las Vegas... And both in Niagara falls... The duality continues.
The Glases are more expensive then the Vision Pro lol? The Apple Vision Pro is for the far Future and not for Mainstream Things. How mutch costs the very first OLED TVs in 2013/2014? Over 10k! New Technologys are ever for the Future.
I think they are a cool product but there are two big problems for me... firstly and most obviously, the price. Secondly and even more important to me is the fact these tie you into the Apple ecosystem and I don't want an Apple computer, phone or even an Apple account of any kind. So price aside, these are a hard pass for me personally as much as I like the idea
I think the "gourmet mustard" bit would've been funny if it had been delivered in a more smart allek way. Like if he said it was stone-ground Dijon, each seed hand-picked by French nuns in the Swiss alps. And then it turns out the paper is actually well written.
