They pretty bad in Columbus ga, they swear they fast but stay getting gapped by just about anything, a they put exhaust on them and some sound good, but others are trash.
As a woman, he's got a point. V8 guys are too showy, it's cringe 😬. And attention seeking too, we get it, you have a loud engine 😒, you want a 🍪. I'm convinced they're trying to impress other guys. 😂
I drove a V6 Challenger to Vegas in 2015 and I was actually impressed with its speed. I went to buy one 3 years ago but somehow I ended up driving a Scatpack home instead lol.
My jeep is a 6.1 it sounds nice but doesn't look good. The ol man at work has a mustang for sale that looks good with a green chameleon paint job but it's v6
Get the v8 for weekends and a camry for the week days... camry is is a better daily driver than a challenger v6. And it has 4 doors, It does better on gas, it's more reliable, and it probably even handles better than the challenger. And since it's a v6 challenger your not buying it for speed.
Ive got a v6 challenger and absolutely love it. The amount of people that try to race me all the time is ridiculous, i got the car to joy ride in. If youre not egotistical and not constantly trying to race everything with 4 wheels, the v6 is perfect for you
I got a v6 mustang a few years back and you wouldn't believe the amount of times a JDM guy or a "V8 or gtfo" kid would try and flex on me when I was trying to casually drive to work
@@spartan8377 where I'm from its usually over a foot, and I'm recent years it's been all occurring over a 3 dayish snowstorm, no matter your skill level, RWD is awful for that weather, from experience
Being in the snowbelt, the AWD GT was literally the only 12 month choice. Any of the RWD models are not in the conversation without a winter rat or 2nd vehicle. Can confirm 30MPG to Myrtle as well and that's cruising at 80 ...
I get around 35mpg on my 2015 v6 challenger and my fastest 0-60 so far is a 5.8. I got the resonators and mufflers cut off and it sounds a lot better than a lot of other V6 engines. Worth
Dude the modding for the performance on these engines are amazing! Saw a guy push out 710hp on dyno out of it, just with supercharger and some tuning this platform pushes out 500hp!
I’m a 14 yr old girl but as soon as I get my license I’m getting one that’s black and I’m gonna add blue accents like blue rims, stickers, and all sorts of stuff :)
Just make sure you take care of it. Dodges can be very high maintenance when not taken care of properly. Just make sure you know what you’re getting into.
I own a v8 big block monte carlo SS and a v8 pick up and its very pricey on gas already. Buying a challenger v6 was smart for me for daily driving for the savings on gas and much easier to get around in then a big pick up or a classic i only drive in the summer
My dad got V6 because he wanted AWD so he could have the one car year round, as Midwest winters aren’t typically mild. Being said, now that I have an RT, he’s planning on supercharging his car, which would end up faster than my RT. The V6s definitely have their place in the market and the car world. Honestly too the 3.6 sounds really good in my opinion.
Great points. I love power but I have a super long commute and drive a V6 Mustang. It gives me a taste of muscle car fun at a low purchase price with livable gas mileage. I used to drive an SS Camaro. A V6 is no match but I figure it beats driving a compact with a 4-banger. And the newer V6 muscle cars are packing 300-plus HP.
I can't decide on the model yet but I definitely want the challenger. I gotta admit Im kinda leaning to the V6 now and I saw a black GT I really liked. The hemi would be so cool but I like to take trips and the extra in gas would annoy me but I really like the V8 sound. Other then the extra power and sound I really like some of the GTs
My v6 charger has been my daily sunce 2021 that car has never let me down i even spoke so highly of it that my dad went out and bough one too, first brand new car hes ever owned
Is the V6 nice to park and easy to maneuver? I live in a more crowded area in berlin, but with my own parking space - but sometimes I have to maneuver a lot to fit into it. I fear that the V8 ist just too raw and powerful to allow for smaller and lighter movements. Whats your experience with that?
Get a 2023 dodge Challenger GT it's cheap compared to the other trims, it saves gas, it's faster than a SXT and it has the looks that the higher trims would have
I drove my 2016 Challenger a few years back to the Sam Davis Home and I got 32.5 mpg . I now have a 2022 Challenger and it had 6 miles on the OD when I purchased it. It will not hurt it if you run a tank full of shell Vpower to clean the fuel system
V6 owners devide themselves on 2 main groups. Those that brag as if they had a v8 challenger, and those that for one reason or anoher got a v6 and they are happy about it.
Ageless exterior design, the truly muscle car style, 21st century classic, which is the VERY RARE thing, interior have been designed by Alfa Romeo, who are the manufacturers of... FERRARI AND MASERATTI by the way. The chassis from the Mercedes E class, and S class, softer than the couch, 3.6 engine and transmission from Jeep, super reliable!!!! Big salon, two 6.2 ft, 250lb guys can comfortly sit behind the first seats. GT version is even better, of road travel, winter, snow, rain doesn't matter, walks through like a tank. You can buy a chip for a chassie from the officials, and you'll be able to switch modes from 4WD, to 2WD, front and the back. Wanna add some power, install the supercharger, make it the full stage 2 version, and it will rip the ss of even the SRT!!!! So what we have at the end : a stylish, famous, legendary, super reliable, a comfortable, and with some tuning quite fast, muscle car.... I would call it THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD.
It's recommended through Dodge to use 89 for the R/T and 91 for Scat Pack and above. I wouldn't play with the recommendations. Since most places don't carry 89, I just mix my own.
I had a 22 challenger gt as a rental for a month, and i really liked it. I ended up buying a 13 sxt because it was ridiculously cheap and i financed a 5.7 T/A
V6 cause I didn’t want higher chances with engine problems but at the same time, mileage. folk don’t really want my v6 so I’m less stressed about attention good and bad .
People want V8s due to wanting to feel better than someone else. I never understood why people say “it’s faster” when said people literally just go the speed limit. 😭 I’d rather just get a V6 and get a cat-back exhaust system to make it sound deeper
Just bought a new 2023 RT.Plenty of power plus the sound. Not looking to beat on it, will have fun but not crazy.6 is good and cheap on budget, but don't get rhe thrill as 8 or the sound. But it's still a iconic muscle car. Also insurance is alot less.
The only challenger I would own with a V6 would have to be the GT cause it's AWD but that's for budget otherwise my dream is a manual challenger just cause it's a beautiful design and it's a standard 🤤
I just want the Challenger GT AWD because its easier to get to 500 HP with a bolt on twin turbo kit without rebuilding the engine. Getting my 3.6 Subaru Legacy to 500HP is going to be a phucking nightmare 😂 I don't think people realize how fun a 500HP AWD car is.....really a coupe
I owned a v6 but finally upgraded to an rt. I gotta say each have their perks. Also hemis can take 87 you just don’t get maximum performance. They have computers that tweak something to not burn too hot for the lower grade fuel. I just use 89 because it could still cause damage
Seriously considering to buy one but I am afraid about the fuel economy alot. I don't want to go to Petrol Station every 30 minutes.. also, some people told me its heavy weight affects the fuel economy alot. Another thing that's been giving hard time is which Model of SXT is most reliable...
It’s dependent on how you drive. If you want to save gas I suggest using manual mode and cruise control. Whatever the hell the speed limit is you set that as your cruise control. Then shift up to the highest gear possible and your car will easily get anywhere between 26-31mpg. Of course it’s weight plays a part on fuel economy so if you plan on getting this as a daily and your main commute lets say to work is city traffic aka lots of stop and go. I wouldn’t get an sxt if you wanted fuel economy. But if your main commute is mainly free way then your mpg will definitely be a lot better.
@@vannarasam3701 Thanks for the advices bro, I actually drive normally and where I live doesn't have too much traffic. Also, I am kind of a Night person. I rarely go out during the morning. I think the V6 model is better for me. I ll get one next year hopefully
The V6 is a good car, but it's still just criminal to drive that body without a V8. Forget the power; it's about the sound and rightness of the combination. These cars are old now; you can probably find an older R/T for the price of the V6 you're looking at. I can see someone buying a used V6 if your budget is truly below any of the V8s. Buying a V6 new is INSANE, imo. If I cared about the extra 5 mpg, the Challenger would not be the car. The 5.7 with MDS or the stick shift does fine on gas.
I owned one they are surprisingly fast for a v6 mine had one problem right after the other and I hit a deer going 60 i think it was cursed or something I never really got to enjoy it on account of it always having something going wrong with it then my factory warranty went out so I let it go back it only had 24000 miles on it and had more problems than my old truck with 250k miles on it
