After 11 years working in the government as a nurse and finally decided to be a doctor. Its quite alot convincing for my family and they have assured for support. I'm so inspired with this video since my sister is an on-going 2nd year Med student and me, as an ate who's currently working as a nurse here in Singapore, finds it hard to support my sister financially. But I still believe she can do it without thinking of the finances. But there are relatives who discourages her to continue studying kahit hindi naman sila ang nagpapaaral. Tumigil nlng dw muna kasi marami nang utang at maliit pa sweldo ko as a nurse. But yeah, this inspired me a lot. Thank you for sharing. 😊

i agree po sa #2. Im a grade 12 student and im really serious in taking up medicine. When i was younger, im really afraid in blood and always disgust in human's body. Since i love science, i told myself to take up medicine. So i tried to exposed my self in watching medical dramas, operations and so on and idk but i slowly love seeing bloods, broken bones and open wounds and etc. I really find it amazing thou sometimes i still find it a lil bit disgusting. Kakatapos ko lang interview for a scholarship para Medschool. And sobrang down na down ako kasi I was asked of how I failed 2 subjects during my premed. I am not smart enough but I know I really want to become a doctor but then dahil sa sinabi sa akin na baka di ko kayanin nag doubt na tuloy ako sa sarili ko kung kaya ko ba talaga. That is why nag search ako videos here in youtube and luckily I bumped into your video and medyo gumaan gaan ang pakiramdam ko. Knowing how difficult medschool is but doing my very best and focusing on that MD goal siguro makakaya ko.

Hi after 4yrs of working in a food manufacturing company (i was happy working there) but deep inside me i know i want to be a doctor thats the job i really want, especially now that this covid19 pandemic hit the world lalo ko nafeel na kailangan ko mag silbi sa bayan na mas kailangan ng maraming doctor ng Pilipinas, i was more eager to pursue medicine at the age of 24. Anyway, I'm a graduating pharmacy student now and I really want to pursue med school but even though my parents don't directly told me not to I know that they don't want because they are really concern of my health(cancer survivor here) and they always ask me if I don't get tired reviewing and studying and lastly, the expenses, but yeah I heard some scholarships and grants for medicine from my school and professors. Doc aura, actually nagstruggle talaga ako ngayon sa aking sarili. I'll be senior clerk (3rd yr) in med this upcoming school yr, pero nawawalan na po ako ng kumpyansa sa sarili, dapat kasi intern na ako ngayon pero, I failed in genpath and microbiology. Takot na talaga akong maranasan ulit yun sa 3rd yr. kasi super hectic talaga ang sched ng 3rd yr compare sa 2nd yr, at ayoko ko na talagang maulit yun. Alam kong na disappoint ang mama at kapatid ko, at hanggang ngayun hindi alam ng mga friends at relatives ko ang nangyari. Sinisisi ko talaga ang sarili ko kung bakit ako bumagsak.
