Hello Seez, I appreciate your video about the Adapter. I have the same exact setup. I'm quite new to cameras and lens and such. Did you ever run into a problem when your footage was Vignetting? Like having black corners. If so I how did you resolve if not do you have any idea how to resolve the issue? I really do enjoy this lens it's just this issue is somewhat annoying.

I maybe wrong but Sigma 17-50 is f2.8 and not f1.8 as you mention,thus bringing the f stop to f2 and not f1.4.

Correct Aperture computation is = f1.8 x 2 x 0.71 = f2.6 The exp compensation is unaffected but if you're calculation the aperture for bokeh, then the calculation above is the correct one.

Great video. Is there much point in using a speed booster if using Prime lenses ( 50mm , 85mm ) on a G7 ?

If the prime lens is designed for a M/43 camera than no. But if it's for different system than you can benefit using a speed booster

You want to have something that is wide as possibly I imagine right ? If so the 12-35 f2.8 with power OIS is what you want for vlogging amzn.to/3Xcl6Mv

Especially if you want to have image stabilization and keep the autofocus. The option I mentioned in this video is great but will slow down your AF even more than it already is already

In this video I used the Sony A7III with the kit 24-70 lens. Some of the B Roll was also shot with it.

Is the link incorrect. I purchased from the link but did not fit. The adapter on video is silver but the link sends a flat plack adapter. Just got in the mail but does not fit my G7.

I as long as your using an APSC lens you can get away with using the one I mentioned in the video

As long as the sigma is an EF mount. If you have the sigma 16mm that is M4/3’s mount you won’t be able to use this adapter

Hey Seez, thanks for the videos on the G7! I have had the G7 for around 5 years and now getting back in to filming. Looking for the focal reducer you recommended I cant find much 2nd hand in Australia. Plus, there seems to be a few different ones which are referenced as Viltrox EF M2. Is there one which I need to get specifically to fit the G7?

Nice! Glad to have you back behind the camera! As for focus reducers their are only a few brands that I’ve heard of. There is not a specific one you need for the G7 but what you want to keep in mind is how much reduction power you need based on your lenses you want to use.
