I once met a young man who must have been in his late teens/early twenties and I felt a very strong energy coming from him which told me he really liked people, but I also heard my intuition tell me that people will take advantage of him, especially after he told me that he sometimes cooks for his co tenants. I decided that it was up to me to advise him to protect his kind heart, because I had been taken for granted a few years ago after constantly doing nice things for people without asking for anything in return. I told the young man that people like him are rare and the world is very cruel and people will go out of their way to abuse his kindness so therefore it is essential to say "no" from time to time. Like in this story, I learnt a couple of years ago that its OK to say no and ever since I've been putting my foot down more often, I've noticed that people show me more respect and this snipet of knowledge has made me stronger.
