Plan what you'll eat, what you'll minimize or remove from your diet, how often you'll eat, and how much. Even schedule your cheat meals strategically-this beats giving in to impulses and emotions, which often lead to overeating and poor food choices.
Without a plan, it's hard to gauge what's working for you and what's not. I suggest deciding when you'll eat your meals-like breakfast at 8 am, lunch at 12 pm, and dinner at 6 pm. Then choose a few sources each of carbs, fats, and proteins, and rotate meal variations throughout the week.
Consistency is key. Monitor your weight, and if you're not seeing progress after 2-3 weeks, adjust your portions or change up your food choices.
