I keep LOTS of the beers on ice for my Protestant friends. Once I tell them that "sola scriptura" is found NOWHERE in any Sacred Scripture, including the Books they threw out, they tend to drink a little.

Interesting thought on RVs and tiny homes Matt. I always imagined tiny home communities would be more communal than a standard American suburban culdesac. I mean, when your house is 300 sq ft, you'd want to get out the house more often.

After the guest mentioned always having two cases of beer in the fridge, Matt said, “Ah, that’s beautiful!” I love it. I agree. Two cases of beer at all times is indeed a very beautiful thing. Running out of beer would be a tragic day.

Don't know how easy it is to purchase outside the UK but if you ever get chance to Tynt Meadow English Trappist ale. Only been going for about 3 years but in my humble opinion Mount St Bernard Abbey is the best Trappist ale even better than the old established Belgian beers though of course I'm biased!

You cannot beat the taste of a really good real ale or craft beer. Sunday should be Latin Mass in the morning, relax and read in the afternoon, a couple of pints at the local pub, prayer then sleep well.

I know people think Florida is all great but it's to hot. I can't stand the hot weather and miss the seasons. I always have beer in the fridge, never know who might stop by and having a cold one beats the heat.

As a raised Catholic, it is my opinion that alcohol is way too prevalent in the culture - "We'll have some drinks and pray the Rosary" - Are you guys listening to yourselves..?

Makes total sense to me. If alcohol is so inherently bad, why was Jesus’ first miracle turning water into wine? The key is moderation. Drunkenness is a sin. Moderation is a virtue. Abstinence is for Protestants and Muslims.
