This episode I introduce you to my Toyota Landcruiser 105 series! I will be modifying it to set it up for camping 4x4 offroad and daily duties. I will be trying my best to modify it on a cheap budget.

Dont see too many 1HZ with an auto box. Looks like she's worked hard previously, but she'll still be a good unit.

Yep, I think she did a bit of towing more than anything and not particularly well maintained but I’m treating it as an opportunity to really get to know the car and learn more about these awesome 4x4’s

Nice choice, I bought same during Covid, 18k, now a touring beast, 38k owes now, with GVM 🙂 running Raslarr rear bar, note when GVM was done, engineer had to sign off with after market turbo ( safari ) emission testing , etc. from exhaust under certain load ( Victoria )

@@onstreetgarage Melb. Diesel ones are hard as to find in an alright condo. Only real affordable ones are the petrol/gas ones

Yeah that’s true. Through Covid they were crazy money but if you keep an eye out a few still pop up under $20k they just sell heaps quick. Mine was cheap as you can see it needed/needs a ton of tidying up but I reckon it’ll all be worth it.

@@onstreetgaragehope I can find one. How has it been as a daily though? Been tossing up between getting one of these or an old colorado or rodeo with a 4jj1 in it

@@wintstleg2738 it’s good as a daily. Not too bad on fuel, very comfortable just needed some maintenance when I first got it. The modern stuff is good too. If you’re handy then I’d say the cruiser hands down
