Why You Should Daily Drive a Jeep XJ 

On the note for rust. People, PLEASE CHECK UNDER YOUR CARPETS IN THE REAR CARGO AREA. I have one that I got for 800 bucks and the outside of the body was immaculate, but one day I got under the carpet in the rear and noticed many holes in the floor and it was already so far gone that it ruined the crossmember that holds the rear shocks in place. It is literally so bad its not worth fixing. Mind you literally everything else about the XJ is perfect. Always starts every time, never overheated, 0630 head swapped with port and polish, pretty build up all around but you MUST be aware of the rust these things can have.

Had my '93 for about 24 years, absolutely love it.

I'm on my second xj , like my 5 Jeep. I can't stand the rattling, creaking, and clunking but the rest of the xj is amazing and I don't think you could do it (the experience) in any other vehicle.

I love my xj , 98 with 12 hole injectors and 99 up intake and exhaust manifolds , makes good power , but I'm looking to swap to a 4 cylinder when this motor dies.

Love the XJ, I'm in number 5,have 2 currently, my 96 has 350k miles

Ronnie do you have any idea why I dont have air coming thru my heat air vents on my 92 XJ? if its a vacuum line do you know which one ?, I have been trying to figure this out for 2 yrs I’m stumped also a leak in the drivers side floor new carpet is ruined and new floor pans? checking for rust , I did paint them though …..help !!! Other than that she is a diamond!!
