Thank you for 1000 subscribers! I'll be back in Australia soon for Southern Hemisphere summer, so will have some videos with more bonsai stuff, not just me killing seedlings.
This is such a well crafted video. A love letter to the Ginkgo, if you will. I am fortunate to have an old majestic ginkgo growing in my town and collected and germinated a bunch of seedlings this spring. I have about 30 seedlings that I hope to mold in various shapes in the future! Thank you for making this video.
besides the ginkgo there are also various plant species that have tiny natural distributions but they are actually highly adaptable to different conditions and are planted everywhere such as the Metasequioa and Black locust
Thank you for this beautiful video! It came at the exact right time since recently, just a week ago, I developed an interest at ginkgos! The song at the end was a perfect ending for this video 👌 Congratulations for the 1K subscribers 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a brilliant video! A real treat for your 1k subscribers 😄 I really enjoyed this video and found lots of great information in it. You live in such a wonderful area in Korea. The song at thr end was great too! Take care man
Mate! Loved the video! You are a true artist. I know a guy selling off ginkos he have been growing in pots from seeds for 25 years. I think I need to go there and get some.🙂👍
Thank you for your entertaining video and song. I have been bonsai-ing ginkgos for 20 years. I have around 30. Not one of mine is a broom style. Send me your email if you want photos.
Would love to see some photos! My email address is on the About tab. Have you had any problems with branches dying back and its tendency to shoot from the base?
Ginkgos have a strong tendency to grow shoots from the base when the upper portions of the plants are stressed. It’s a survival tactic. Branch dieback? No, I have never had branch dieback. How does your branch dieback exhibit?
