You know what’s wild?
Dave Asprey (the guy most famous for popularising 'bulletproof coffee') openly admitting he dislikes a food because it is cheap and it has been used to keep poor people alive.
Let me make one thing straight.
I do not give even half a hoot if you want to eat oats. I like them, but not everyone does, and that’s cool.
But please, for the love of all that is holy, can we stop this trend of people exaggerating how dangerous foods are?
I am fed up of people making cheap and nutritious foods sound like they are the spawn of satan especially when they have a habit of promoting very expensive foods that they make a profit from.
A lot of these food fearmongers wouldn't know their arse from their elbow if you actually talked to them about nutrition science. It's not science they care about, it's catchy clickbait content to rile you up.
All I want is for people to talk honestly about the pros and cons of foods without the unnecessary fear mongering.
Is that too much to ask?
