I’ve been loving the look of these shoes for a while now but at 47 yrs old I thought maybe I shouldn’t get em because I see so many young ladies wearing them but then again, I am a woman who will wear what I love no matter what! I did finally get a pair in black a few weeks ago and LOVE them and yes, they are comfortable! In fact, I like them so much that I just ordered a pair of pink ones yesterday!!
It really depends on your style, I bought the black pair today and I love them! My foot is narrow and flat but the Sambas felt good walking around for 1-2 hours. Since i've curated my clothing to all have a color scheme I can easily go for the Sambas and immediately think of many outfits I could pair them with.
If you get the samba leather shoes instead (that are the performance ones) they are more comfortable, a little wider, with some arch support and cost a little less I believe. Only thing is that it only comes in the black option.
I did an Adidas campaign and wore Sambas for the first time in it and I didn't even know there was a hype lol. I will say they are SUPER comfy and they are like very elegant looking and feeling. Like ballet slipper-y if that makes sense. I will say they do wear more fashion than function but I liked them a lot. I'll probably buy them. (They gave us free shoes after the campaign but I got Gazelle Bolds instead :( lol)
I am male.....n got a pair of them og 5 months ago....due to hype as you said.....also being myself a lover of adidas over many years....but I was quite disappointed as the sole is a bit thin n not comfortable at all .....like you as I still haven't worn them out ....to resell them n go for another style....wait n see....
Great honest video but you had to know these are based on soccer heritage. Yes they are narrow. Try changing out the insole that makes a big difference. Great video.
The Adidas OG Samba is more of a fashion sneaker, therefore the reason for the thinner sole and not a style for everyone. I'm from the east coast and an original Adidas fan. I believe the shoe is well worth the money (I paid $100 plus tax for leather from the Adidas Store) and I've seen them for almost double the price, depends on where you purchase the from. They do sell out fast and you do have to keep checking for them. Also, leather shoes do require a break-in period. I respect your review/opinion and to each his own and i could be a bit biased because i"m a true Adidas fan.
I don’t get it. If you just by things which are „in“, you don’t have any taste or style on your own. And it’s not „why YOU shouldn’t by“, but why „I won’t buy..“ Most people buy things they like, not because some RU-vidr or influencer says: buy it🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
How can you think they are expensive? the amount you pay out on handbags 😂 unreal. You literally say in the vid that spending money is your pastime 😂😂😂 I don’t think they are for you
From the video title, I thought there was something wrong with the shoes; everything she hates about them, I like; checked them out in the mall and will buy me a pair.
they're indoor soccer shoes... some of your points are valid but I would be disappointed if Adidas compromised the design for fashion. the fact that they've become popular after being around for 74 years is a pure fluke. I think the Gazelles would be more to your liking.
Tried on the Sambas today. Although they looked outwardly chic, they are so uncomfortable. The toe box is tight & the instep goes up on the inside which feels weird. No support whatsoever. They seemed cheaply made too. A miss for me.
They not expensive 90$each smh adidas samba og is a spin of samba classic turf soccer sneaker .why you explain anything. You talk to much and don't know sneakers
