Es la verdad! I am learning Spanish about a year and bit. I have been friends with a Spanish girl (from Malaga)and she could not understand when I said 'me cobras por favor' (Charge me please) as an alternate way to ask for the bill I repeated about 4-5times and she didn't get it - I had show her the video and she got it straight away - so I expect my pronunciation was off.
I wonder how you do some of this, with just a little bit of a speech problem? My words could come out a little funny sounding sometimes. Like with Perro, for dog, it a little hard for me to make the ending sound of that word.
